Otaku Witch-Chapter 465 : 394. Breakfast Mini Game
The next morning, at the top floor of the Tower of Shine in the Witch Academy.
The dazzling morning sunlight filtered through the window, casting warm and gentle rays upon the large bed in the bedroom.
Perhaps sensing the change in temperature, the girl on the bed, whose dreamlike beauty was nearly indescribable in words, twitched her eyelids and then stretched out a hand to rub her eyes, her vision blurry as she sat up.
Dorothy sat there dazed for two minutes before her entire body jolted awake, now fully alert.
"Damn it, I'd barely been asleep for three hours,"
the homebody witch grumbled to herself.
She had stayed up late the night before, engrossed in studying Forbidden Curses, and had lost track of time. By the time she realized it, the sky was already getting light. When she checked the time, lo and behold, it was 4:30 a.m.
Although it was already late, and she could have continued to stay up, deciding to just pull an all-nighter, Dorothy ultimately resisted the urge to keep satisfying her thirst for knowledge with iron-willed determination and crawled into bed.
Although witches don't need sleep, natural sleep is still a luxury.
In any case, she closed and opened her eyes, and here she was, waking up again.
It was quite irritating to be forcibly awakened by her biological clock before she'd had her fill of sleep, particularly for Dorothy, who was a Dragon Witch. Great Dragons tend to be very grumpy when they wake up.
Therefore, the homebody witch was not in a very good mood, regretting that she had indulged too much in her studies and disrupted her normal routine. But there was no helping it; the knowledge of Forbidden Curses was too enchanting, and she had simply planned to study just a tiny bit more before sleeping, then accidentally got carried away.
Unfortunately, even though she now desperately wanted to just go back to sleep and enjoy a good lie-in, reality did not allow for it. She had arranged with her close friends from the club to go test the performance of the White Dragon Warship that day, and then they were all going to find a spot to exchange and discuss their strengths.
"I'm such an idiot, why did I agree to meet in the morning? It could have been in the afternoon."
The homebody witch complained about her decision from the day before while struggling to get out of bed.
Half-asleep, she completed her morning hygiene routine under the ministration of magic, and then her dragon plushie pajamas slid off her. They conscientiously hopped into the magic washing machine nearby.
Bare, Dorothy approached her wardrobe to pick out her clothes for the day. However, when she opened the wardrobe and saw that it was filled with identical magic robes, she laughed at herself.
Ridiculous. My closet's full of uniforms. There's nothing to choose from.
Well, you have to admit Miss Mary, despite being a lecherous tailor, was truly skilled. The magic robes she made were exceptionally comfortable to wear. However, because they fit so well, they often inadvertently emphasized the body's curves, which sometimes could be quite embarrassing, and this was something Dorothy wasn't very pleased about.
But clothes are all about comfort, and so, she decided to go against her previous resolution never to patronize that lecherous tailor again, turned to the Magic Network, found Miss Mary, and ordered a whole closet of the same magic robes.
Well, it feels like I won't need to buy any clothes for at least twenty years now.
As the homebody witch thought this, she reached out for a magic robe from the wardrobe and then opened her hands.
Magic power, like an invisible servant, picked up the robe, then proceeded to assist the master with changing.
"Hmm, why does this feel a little tight? Something's not right."
Just after getting dressed, the homebody witch looked at herself in the mirror, puzzled, noticing the robe that previously fit well now seemed less so. What had been a rather loose and modest robe now appeared to be stretching tight against her figure. Of course, this wasn't uncomfortable yet, but what was once a voluminous cloak was now subtly heading in the direction of a body-hugging qipao.
"Hmm, did that lecherous tailor tamper with it? No, that's not it, it looks like I'm still growing."
Dorothy furrowed her brows as she studied her reflection in the mirror and then resigned herself to the thought.
"Right, it's probably because my magic power has been growing too quickly these past two months, hastening my progress becoming a pureblood."
The homebody witch figured out the reason behind the oddity with her body.
Being a half-witch, she was naturally progressing towards becoming a pureblood witch as her strength increased. Her magic power had quadrupled in the last two months, and it was only natural for her body to undergo some changes.
Her original height of 1.75 meters was considered tall among human females, but tragically short among Dragon Witches. As her Dragon Witch bloodline continued to purify and consume her human heritage, her stature would naturally align with those of her kin. She guessed she would eventually reach a height similar to her Martial Soul Incarnation or Mother Superior, likely over two meters tall.
Well, I guess I'm the architect of my own misfortune.
"Fine. It's not all bad. At least my strength and physique are improving."
Dorothy clenched her fist, feeling the strength and physique that had also been enhanced, shook her head, and no longer dwelled on these matters.
It's just a shame that the clothes in the closet may not fit for long before needing replacement, which seemed quite wasteful.
The impoverish homebody witch couldn't help but feel a little heartache.

"Sigh, truthfully, with gain there's always loss. I've gained strength but lost money."
Shaking her head to clear these mixed thoughts, Dorothy approached the bed.
