Chapter 172: Angry Baer [R18]

[WARNING: ADULT CONTENT]

WOLF’S POV

Straight away she started to rub me in a way that made me groan out loud, and my mind flashed to the fact it was probably Baer who had taught her how to do this.

How I wanted to be that man who was there first. I wanted to teach her everything.

I dropped my hands to feel her gorgeous boobs and ass through her uniform, and I could feel myself aching and dripping for her.

I was desperate to make her mine, but I wanted our first time together to be amazing and memorable, not a hurried shag against a tree with our team waiting for us, likely to be interrupted at any moment.

"Fuck, Araminta. I want you so badly, but I don’t want our first time to be like this," I told her the truth.

Damn! I saw what I had done to her lips. They were swollen and red with little purple bruises.

"I’m sorry!"

I was too big for her. Just a rough brutish soldier when I had so wanted to be a gentleman. I wanted to be the opposite of Baer, so she would learn to trust and love me, and look what I had done to her!

"It doesn’t matter."

She said it so quietly, I knew it did matter! Of course it mattered.

Why was I so clumsy and rough? This is what came of growing up with four older brothers and then joining the army. Nothing about me was refined and gentlemanly, who was I kidding?

"Was I too rough?"

A superfluous, self-serving question I already knew the answer to.

"No. Just right. And I’m tough so I like it a little rough."

Those words almost made me pull my cock from my pants then and there.

"Don’t push me too hard, Araminta," I warned her off. "I’m not superhuman after all."

If she didn’t want our first time together to be happening right here under this tree, she should try not to fire me up like that.

I gave her a long slow kiss to try and take the edge off my crazy-level arousal, letting her take the lead this time and trying my hardest to be a good boy.

But then she tried to cover my whole mouth with her sweet little lips and finished me off by licking my lips with her little kitty tongue.

I couldn’t help but pick her back up and take over!

--------

Loveday nudged Indy, as Arrie and Wolf disappeared from the marching column; the man was carrying her.

"About time," Loveday grinned widely.

"Aww, so cute," said Indy. "She deserves a nice man like Wolf. He’s a million times nicer than Baer."

"General!" Indy called to Alton, "can we take a short break? We’ve lost two of our members..."

Indy and Loveday were not the only ones to notice Wolf carrying Arrie into the bush. Baer had seen them disappear, too.

"I’m going to take a slash," he crudely informed Niko, following the pair into the scrub.

He stood well back where there was no chance of being seen, but he could see them well enough.

He watched Wolf push his girl up against a tree and push his tongue down her throat.

That son-of-a-whore! he thought.

He’d been moving in on his girl ever since that first night at the silo when he wrestled with her and waved his cock in her face.

Every time he had a chance of getting back together with Arrie, that bastard was there, acting all high and mighty around her.

Like he was any better than him! He was just panting to get in her pants. If she couldn’t tell that, she was dumber than she looked.

And what was her problem with him anyway? He’d offered to bloody marry her. It doesn’t get any better than that for a woman, does it?

So what if she overheard him fighting with Loveday? She knew he liked Loveday before he ever liked her. He’d never hidden that fact. It didn’t lessen his feelings for Arrie.

Bloody women! They were so temperamental. He’d asked her to be his second wife and after that, she’d agreed to sleep with him. He really couldn’t understand what had changed. If anything, her position had improved what with Loveday getting upset after he spent the night with Arrie.

He could feel his rage building over the whole affair.

And watching that dunderhead canoodle with his girl was adding fuel to the furnace.

Baer stalked back to the road, cursing under his breath, the steam from his ears practically visible.

Niko had cottoned on to what was happening now. One look at his friend’s face, and he disappeared for a bathroom break himself.

Baer’s legendary temper couldn’t be talked down; it needed to be left alone for him to nurse it until he ran out of puff.

-----------

"We’re getting to the point where we’ll be seen," Alton said to Delphi. "We need to get into the safehouse Bill’s set up for us near Salamanca Place. Time for our disguises."

The girls pulled out their jilbabs, headscarves and veils and covered themselves, so that only their eyes were visible.

The men put on their civilian clothes, and the girls worked on their faces, adding dark eyebrows, fake moustaches and beards, and unsightly moles.

"Try and be a bit fatter so you don’t look like warriors," said Delphi.

"How’s this?" asked Alton, stuffing his army t-shirt under his checked civilian dress shirt.

"You look pregnant," laughed Delphi, "or like you have a tumorous growth. Here, give me a go."

She tied the t-shirt around his waist and added some other clothes from his pack, until he looked like he was ten pounds overweight.

"There," she said, satisfied, "much more believable".

Although it was after dark, there was still the possibility of being noticed by patrolmen and pulled up. They knew from Bridgwater Bridge that the army was searching for them and was aware they would likely be enroute to the capital.

They’d decided to pose as couples, which should attract less attention than a large group, and generally a man with his wife would be left alone by military men.

Delphi showed them all the routes into Salamanca Place that she had selected for them so they would be less likely to arouse suspicion.

Niko pulled Baer aside.

"Man, I really need to be paired with Indy tonight," he begged his friend. "It’s dangerous, and I know you’re as safe a set of hands as it gets, but you’re not me. I won’t feel right unless I’m there to protect her."
