Online Game: Low Drop Rate? I Have a Guaranteed Drop System!-Chapter 100: Dorian, Advance Action
Chapter 100: Chapter 100: Dorian, Advance Action
"Wait a second." Atlas stopped Johnnie and said, "Johnnie, there’s something you should be interested in. I entered a special secret realm in the beginner village, and you should know about it."
Johnnie nodded. Cecilia had already told him about it.
Atlas continued, "It’s a secret realm mission. Completing it can open the connection between the beginner village and the Dark Forest."
"Dark Forest?" Johnnie was stunned. He thought back to the map the old village chief had given him.
In the game, the beginner village is always surrounded by a forest, and that forest is called the Dark Forest.
But it was only marked as a dangerous area on the map, and he had never gone in.
Johnnie asked, "Senior, what’s special about that Dark Forest?"
Atlas shook his head. "I don’t know. But the reward for this mission is very good — 500 points of free attributes and one City Establishment Order."
"City Establishment Order!" Johnnie was surprised.
The reward for this mission was truly generous. City Establishment Order only had a chance of dropping from epic bosses at stage 7 or higher.
He had promised to help Dylan build a country, and he would need at least three level 1 cities.
Only with a City Establishment Order could you build a city.
Johnnie’s plan was to take over Flame City and two nearby level 1 cities, but he hadn’t found a suitable one yet.
If he had a City Establishment Order, he could build a city near Flame City directly, which would be much easier.
Atlas continued, "I’ve reached the last step of this mission — killing the sealed monster in the Dark Forest, a rare boss at stage 3. I can’t handle it."
These past days, he had been trapped in the beginner village, all because of this boss. He had learned that Johnnie could freely enter and leave the beginner village, so he wanted Johnnie to help.
"A rare boss at stage 3? I can handle it. Senior, I’ll go into the game and contact you." Johnnie said quickly. Getting a City Establishment Order for free was really a huge piece of good news for him.
He didn’t linger here. He took Cecilia and headed back to the villa.
...
In the Game World, The Land of Nothingness.
A figure appeared, with a weak aura — an old man, and a player with only stage 2 power.
The old man seemed very familiar with this place. He moved confidently into a large hall.
"Hmm? Dorian, why are you here again?" A powerful voice echoed. Pluto appeared in the hall, his massive body towering over the old man, looking down at him.
Dorian, the head of the The Doe Family!
"Huh? No! You’re not in a mental connection — this is your real body!" Pluto was surprised. His massive snake-like body rose up, and his eyes turned cold as he stared at him.
"So, do you want to kill me?" Dorian, facing the terrifying pressure, remained calm and unafraid.
Pluto narrowed his long eyes slightly, and his aura dissipated. He wasn’t ready to kill this human yet.
He coldly said, "Why did you dare to enter the Universe Continent? Don’t you fear death?"
Dorian casually found a seat and said, "An accident happened in the real world, so I came here to hide for a while."
"Is it that Johnnie?" Pluto guessed, his expression amused.
He didn’t like Johnnie, nor did he like Dorian.
Seeing this tricky guy suffer was actually quite satisfying for him.
Dorian’s eyes flashed with hatred.
He had learned that his brother Ryan had been killed by Johnnie.
He wanted to kill Johnnie more than Pluto did.
But Johnnie was too strong, and Dorian couldn’t beat him. So he had come early, and ran into the game in a desperate way.
Dorian returned to his thoughts and said, "I heard your followers are trying to awaken your avatar. I’ll help you awaken it. In return, let me safely enter the Dark Forest."
"You want to get involved in the Dark Forest?" Pluto coldly stared at him, his killing intent clear.
The Dark Forest was his base, full of his followers — it was almost the source of his divine power. It could not be touched in any way.
Dorian said calmly, "Relax. I won’t destroy it. I just want to find something."
"Hmph. You don’t even have the power for that." Pluto didn’t agree immediately. He was cautious and asked, "What exactly are you looking for? The Dark Forest was once my territory. Maybe I can help you."
Dorian immediately refused, saying, "No. I’m just going in to take a look. I’m not sure if what I’m looking for is even in the Dark Forest."
Pluto stared at him suspiciously. Anything that caught this human’s attention had to be something valuable.
He hesitated for a moment, then pulled out a token and tossed it to Ryan, coldly saying, "This is my token. You can move freely in the Dark Forest, even command the Demonic Creatures inside."
"Thank you!" Dorian happily accepted it, then added, "Pluto, I also need some of your blood."
"Impossible!" Pluto angrily refused.
Losing a little blood wouldn’t hurt him, but being repeatedly drained by a weak human made him furious.
It was a complete insult.
Dorian said calmly, "Twenty Fossils of Creation."
Pluto frowned and swallowed his words.
Fossils of Creation could help players merge their attributes into the real world, and for god-like beings, they were even more important — they could restore divine power.
Pluto was tempted, but didn’t agree right away. He asked, "When will you lift the seal of The Land of Nothingness?"
"When I’m strong enough to no longer fear you." Dorian looked at him and said coldly, "Pluto, don’t think I don’t know your plan. Macbeth won’t be able to break this seal. You’d better cooperate with me."
He said that, and pulled out a large jar and twenty Fossils of Creation, tossing them to Pluto.
"You’re really low." Pluto took the items and said coldly. He wanted to kill Dorian right then, but his fate was still in the other man’s hands.
That kept him from acting rashly.
"Mutual, mutual." Dorian smiled.
"Hmph. You still have a long way to go. At least I don’t betray my own people." Pluto sneered, gritting his teeth as he tore off a scale from his body and sliced into his skin. Blood spurted out and filled the jar.
"Dorian, this is the last time." he warned with gritted teeth and tossed the jar to Dorian.
"Thank you." Dorian took the jar, said thanks, and then his body vanished into thin air.
Pluto watched his vanished form, his face slightly changed.
He had underestimated him.
"Have Razora keep an eye on him. I don’t trust this human." Pluto said coldly.
A shadow appeared in the hall, bowed, and then vanished into thin air as well.
...
By the evening, Johnnie returned to his villa.
Lina came toward him with a large syringe in her hand, looking eager.
"Draw it." Johnnie had given up on resisting.
He still needed a lot of The Elixir of Immortality, and it seemed he would have to get divine blood and figure out how to bring it back to the real world.
Lina didn’t hesitate and immediately drew a tube of blood.
Zzzzz...
His phone vibrated. It was Dylan calling.
He quickly answered, "Dylan, did you get the results?"
"Yeah. There’s no sign of The Doe Family leaving the country. They must still be in Dragon Country." Dylan’s voice came from the other end.
"Still in Dragon Country?" Johnnie was confused.
He immediately had Dylan investigate the movements of The Doe Family upon his return.
He said, "Could they have other ways to leave the country, something that could slip past your military surveillance?"
"Impossible." Dylan was certain. "If it was just one or two people, maybe they could sneak out. But The Doe Family has tens of thousands of people. There’s no way they could hide from our military surveillance."
Johnnie stayed silent. But if The Doe Family was still hiding in Dragon Country, where exactly would they be?
Another Ancient Martial Arts Family?
If that was the case, he’d have to let the Yett Family take care of it. He wasn’t familiar with those martial arts families at all.
The fact that The Doe Family had people who could merge game attributes into their real lives was a huge threat. It had to be completely eliminated.
Johnnie hung up the phone. He still decided to go to the Western Alliance for a visit. Maybe Macbeth knew something.
But before that, he would first help Atlas finish the hidden quest in the beginner village, and also start building the country.
After dinner, Johnnie logged into the game right away.
His figure appeared in The Secret Realm of the Sword Tomb.
Ding!
At that moment, a private message rang out — it was from Aaryn.
Aaryn: "Guru, I’ve joined a The Doe Family action plan called Advance Action. It seems related to this game. I might have to be away for a while. I’ll let you know as soon as I figure it out."
"Advance Action?" Johnnie stared at Aaryn’s message, completely confused.
He had never heard of such an action in his previous life.
He wanted to ask, but found that Aaryn wasn’t online.
Johnnie found Felix in his friend list and sent a private message: "Felix, have you heard of The Doe Family’s Advance Action?"
Ding.
As soon as he sent the message, he received a reply.
Felix: "Senior, you also know about this action? The Doe Family contacted me a few days ago. I don’t know the details, but I heard there was danger. I only sent some of the less important members of my family and people who had joined The Doe Family, but they’ve all gone missing. I don’t know if they’re alive or not."
"Dangerous?" Johnnie frowned, his brows furrowing. He was suddenly worried about Aaryn’s safety.
Aaryn wasn’t valued in the Shawn Family, and wasn’t even a martial arts disciple. He would definitely be a sacrifice.
Johnnie: "Aaryn, reply as soon as you see this."
He left a message for Aaryn, not wanting anything bad to happen to him.
Johnnie closed the private chat, then contacted Atlas to ask where he was.
It was Novice Village No. 433.
Johnnie opened the beginner village map and quickly found Novice Village No. 433. This beginner village wasn’t at the edge of the Dark Forest, but near its border.
He was a little surprised. He returned to Twin Cranes City, teleported to the nearest city to Novice Village No. 433 — Tian Cang City.
Then, Fly with the Controlled Sword, he rushed toward the beginner village.
[Ding, You have entered Novice Village No. 433]
Illusory Body activated, and Johnnie easily passed through the barrier, entering Novice Village No. 433.
