One Piece: I'm Destined to Be the Son-in-Law King!-Chapter 227: Roya VS Aramaki

High above the fluffy white clouds, Yamato and Uta worked together on Little Pink, like busy little bees, carrying water from the vast ocean to the parched lands of Alabasta.

Dragons, with their powerful roars, can control the clouds, calling forth the wind and summoning the life-giving rain.

This ability, which Kaido had always dismissed as unimportant, was like a precious jewel in Roya's eyes. It was a treasure beyond measure.

For three days in a row, Alabasta's cities rejoiced as heavy rains poured down, filling the dry riverbeds of the Sandora River with rushing water.

This downpour was like a fresh start for Alabasta, which had been suffering from a terrible drought. Even if the dry weather returned, they now had enough water to last for another year or two.

"It's Vice Admiral Black Hair!" the people cried out.

When the common people learned that Roya was the one who brought the rain, their hearts overflowed with happiness, and they felt forever grateful to him. Even those who hadn't planned on attending the concert now flocked to the Royal Capital, eager to show their support.

Finally, the night of the concert arrived.

"Aiyiyayiya~~" Roya sang out.

To the rhythm of lively desert music, Roya, dressed in traditional Alabasta clothing that showed off his chest, confidently placed his hands on his hips and stepped onto the stage with Fullbody by his side. Behind them, a large, brilliant full moon shone in the sky.

His handsome entrance was met with thunderous applause!

"Rain God! Rain God! Rain God!" the crowd chanted.

In Alabasta, where water was scarce, rainwater was incredibly important. Roya, who could bring the rain, was seen as nothing less than a god.

He was their Rain God!

Meanwhile, back at Rainbase, inside the Rain Dinners Casino, a large screen displayed the concert.

"Crack!"

A goblet shattered into pieces.

Crocodile's eyes burned with fury.

His carefully laid plan, which he had been working on for so many years, had almost been ruined by a simple downpour. Now, it would be delayed by at least two years. How could he not be angry?

Robin, standing beside him, said with a hint of amusement, "Is it just a coincidence? Or did Vice Admiral Black Hair discover our plan?"

"Hmph!" Crocodile scoffed.

On the surface, it seemed like a coincidence, but Black Hair had sought him out right before the rainfall. The more he thought about it, the more uneasy he became. Could it be?

He was incredibly confident in his plan, and there was no way it could have any flaws. Besides, the image he had carefully built in Alabasta over the years was genuine. Even King Cobra treated him with respect.

Why would Black Hair suspect him?

He knew he had to prepare for the worst.

"Summon Baroque Works!" he commanded.

"Understood," Robin replied, a soft smile playing on her lips.

"Are you afraid?" she asked.

"Watch your mouth," Crocodile warned, his eyes like ice. He wasn't summoning the executives to deal with Black Hair, but to get ready to speed up the Utopia plan.

The people's trust in the King had already been weakened, and a single rain couldn't fix that. He would make that wound even deeper.

Meanwhile, outside the Royal Capital, a man wearing a CP uniform flew through the air. A flower sprouted from his back, its petals spinning like propellers.

"Lahahaha, isn't this lively!"

The man landed gracefully on a tall tower, choosing not to interfere. Instead, he sat cross-legged, watching the concert with great interest.

Plants and flowers grew quickly around him, as if drawn to his presence.

"Uta-chan is really cute, and Kaido's daughter beside her is just as darling," he mused. "Well, let's show off a little."

On stage, Roya paused in his dance, his eyes searching the darkness. He could sense a powerful presence lurking there.

Finally here? he thought.

A smile crept across Roya's face as he continued his performance.

Later that night, in the desert outside the Royal Capital, the barren landscape had been transformed into a lush oasis, overflowing with green plants and vibrant flowers.

Roya stepped onto the soft grass, his gaze fixed on the CP0 Captain standing in the center of the oasis. He couldn't hide his surprise.

"So it's him!"

The only person he knew who could control the power of nature like this was...

Ryokugyu, also known as "Green Bull" Aramaki!

It all made sense now. A powerhouse with Admiral-level strength couldn't stay hidden forever. Fujitora was an exception, but it wasn't too surprising that Ryokugyu was working for the World Government.

Besides, Green Bull didn't seem like the type to be a hero of the people.

"Yo, Black Hair Kid," Aramaki said warmly, extending his hand in greeting. He smiled and complimented Roya, "Your performance earlier was super cool, really impressive. I'd love to perform on stage too."

"If you want to perform on stage, I can invite you as a special guest," Roya replied with a shrug.

"Lahahaha, that's something to look forward to!" Aramaki laughed heartily.

Even though it was their first meeting, he didn't dislike Black Hair. It was just that their mission meant they were destined to be enemies.

The Celestial Dragons' orders were absolute!

Aramaki's smile faded. "Black Hair Kid, can you hand over Uta-chan to me?"

"Do you want to die?" Roya responded with a cold smile, his hand resting on the sword at his waist.

Aramaki's face grew serious. He wouldn't underestimate the man before him. The fact that he had fought Akainu for three days was proof enough of his strength.

If he could, he didn't want to fight Black Hair, but the Celestial Dragons were the gods of this world, and no one could disobey them.

He couldn't.

"Crack!"

The ground cracked open, and in an instant, countless saplings sprouted from the earth, quickly growing into towering trees that covered the battlefield.

Aramaki tore off his CP uniform, his body rapidly changing and transforming into a massive tree-man.

"Forbidden Grudge: Lush Forest!" he declared. "Black Hair Kid, I am the Forest Man who ate the Forest-Forest Devil Fruit, the source of life itself, like the vast ocean. I am the incarnation of nature!" Aramaki explained his power.

"I'm acting on orders, so don't hold it against me!"

"I'm not that petty," Roya said, drawing his sword. The sharp blade reflected the moonlight in his eyes. "Come on, let me see the CP0's strongest power!"

"As you wish!"

Dozens of tree trunks twisted and turned wildly, their tips hardened with Haki, stabbing towards Roya like living tentacles.

"Boom!!!"

Dust exploded into the sky!

In the blink of an eye, the sword flashed!

All the tangled tree trunks were sliced into pieces of broken wood!

Roya leaped across the shattered tree trunks, charging towards Aramaki, swinging his blade with incredible speed and force, creating an impenetrable barrier of swords that shattered every giant tree that came near him!

"Hahahaha!"

Roya laughed, his suppressed desire for battle finally unleashed. It had been a long time since he'd faced an opponent he could fight with all his might!

"This guy, is he enjoying this?"

Seeing Roya's wild smile, Aramaki felt a chill run down his spine. How can the Black Hair Kid fight like a madman?

However, he knew that mere humans couldn't defeat nature!

"Lahahaha, Bamboo Forest!"

Countless bamboo shoots erupted from the ground, stabbing towards Roya in the air. At the same time, wooden hands sprouted from the surrounding giant trees, grabbing towards Roya from every direction.

There was nowhere to escape!

"Meteor Impact!"

"Boom!"

All the bamboo exploded into splinters!

Roya reappeared in front of Aramaki, his muscles bulging, veins throbbing on his skin. Tremendous power gathered on his sword!

"What?!"

Aramaki was shocked to see the Black Hair Kid so close. He had broken through his defense so easily!

"Time Lag: Cross Strike!"

"Boom!"

A pale golden cross-shaped slash ripped across the desert!
