Chapter 334: Whitebeard: Pops is Bringing You Home!
Just as Doflamingo was congratulating himself on his precision cleaning, a mountain-like shadow loomed over him. Kaido didn’t even look at the Warlord. He simply walked to the center of the room and took a deep breath.
Whoosh—!!!
A microscopic black tornado erupted from Kaido. It carried the terrifying pressure of a primordial dragon, yet it was controlled with surgical precision. It didn’t harm the furniture; instead, it acted as a vacuum, lifting every speck of dust from the floor and the ceiling gaps, swallowing them whole.
Three seconds later, the tornado vanished. The bar was so clean it looked as if it had been hand-polished by a god. It was a hundred times cleaner than Doflamingo’s work.
Kaido turned toward Blake with a strangely human, almost sheepish grin. "Lord Shopkeeper... was the intensity sufficient?" 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
Pfft—!!!
Doflamingo nearly spat out a mouthful of blood. It was dimensional suppression. His "micron-level cleaning" was child’s play compared to a Yonko using primordial energy for janitorial work.
In the Marine camp, Garp was laughing so hard he was gasping for air. "Worororo... I can’t... Sengoku... hold me up! These two... are they trying to kill me with laughter so they can inherit my rice crackers?"
Sengoku’s face was a mask of fury and shame. He wanted to bury these two "Emperors" for throwing away the dignity of the strong!
However, one man wasn’t laughing.
Edward Newgate, the World’s Strongest Man, sat in the corner with a complex light in his cloudy eyes. He looked at Kaido—transformed, humble, and powerful—and then at his own right hand, which was trembling slightly from the strain of his own power.
Once, Kaido was just a brat with potential. But now, after being "trained" by this Shopkeeper, he possessed power that even Whitebeard would find troublesome. More importantly, he possessed discipline. A Kaido who knew reverence was a hundred times more dangerous than the lunatic of old.
And what about himself? He was riddled with illness. This body was failing him. How much longer could he protect his family?
No. It’s not enough. I can’t fall yet!
I am... Whitebeard!!!
"GURARARARARARARA—!!!"
The roar of laughter exploded like a thunderclap, making the entire bar shake. Kaido’s grin froze. Doflamingo’s pupils shrank. All eyes turned to the man in the corner.
Whitebeard slowly stood up. His frame was so massive it seemed to brush the very ceiling.
"Pops! Your body!" The nurses and Marco cried out in alarm.
Rrip!
With an expressionless face, Whitebeard tore every IV tube and monitor lead from his chest. Medicinal fluids splattered onto the floor as he stretched, his bones popping like firecrackers. He locked his hawk-like eyes onto the silver-haired youth.
"It seems... it’s finally time for me to stretch these old bones!"
A formless, kingly pressure erupted, causing the wind outside to stop and the clouds to stall. The World’s Strongest Man was stepping onto the stage.
Behind the bar, Blake set down his cup. "Oh? You’ve finally made up your mind, Whitebeard?"
In that moment, Doflamingo quietly shuffled closer to the bar, his ears pricked up like radar. But before he could take a step, a cold gaze—burning with the Phoenix’s flame—pierced his back.
Marco’s eyes were half-closed, icy with warning: One more step, and you die.
Doflamingo retreated instantly, resuming his scrubbing with frantic energy.
"I happen to have a dungeon that might suit you," Blake said, tapping a finger on the counter. A pitch-black card with golden cracks appeared, radiating an aura of coldness and despair.
"The name of this dungeon is Black Bullet."
Blake’s voice grew soft, almost seductive. "The world inside is grim. Invaded by monsters called ’Gastrea,’ humanity is huddled in cities built of metal, barely surviving. But the special part isn’t the monsters."
He paused, looking Whitebeard in the eye. "The only ones who can fight back are the ’Cursed Children.’ Because they carry the virus from birth, they are viewed as monsters by normal people. They are rejected, abandoned, and abused. In short... in that world, there are many, many children who have no home."
Boom—!!!
The phrase "children who have no home" exploded in Whitebeard’s mind. His calm eyes were suddenly whipped into a storm of resolve. Family. Children. These were the only things he truly valued.
"GURARARARARARARA—!!!!"
Whitebeard snatched the black card with a giant hand. "Marco! Pay the man!"
"Yes, Pops!!"
Under the envious gazes of the room, Whitebeard looked at the card. A gentle, soft smile appeared on his weathered face—the smile of a father.
"Just wait, children... Your father is coming to take you home!"
He crushed the card.
Buzz—!
Blinding white light swallowed his massive frame, and the cold mechanical voice of the system rang out through the bar.
[System: Dungeon Selected: Black Bullet!]
[System: Mode: Desperate Protection!]
[System: Special Note: In this world, your identity as a ’Father’ will bring you unexpected ’conveniences’... and ’burdens’.]
