One Piece: Alucard the Immortal-Chapter 493 - 492: True Ancestor’s Familiar, Jormungandr
Whoosh—
A colossal entity surged within the cloud layer, its movements creating low-frequency tremors that vibrated through the air. Dragon, currently inhabiting the form of a Divine Dragon, the apex of all living creatures, found his brow furrowed in a tight knot. For the first time, he felt a primal threat to his very life.
Suddenly, a long, mysterious shape broke through the clouds. From that fleeting glimpse, it was clear that what he saw was merely a fraction of the creature’s midsection.
Having finally caught a trace of his opponent’s shadow, Dragon was not about to let it slip away. He coated both claws in Armament Haki, fusing them with the power of his Devil Fruit. A pale blue explosive aura ignited around him.
"Dragon’s Charge!"
As Dragon thrust his claws forward, the aura coalesced into a surging blue energy dragon that pursued the enemy through the clouds, slamming into the pitch-black mass.
The resulting shockwave dispersed the dark clouds obscuring the mysterious monster, finally revealing its true visage to the world.
Hiss...
The sound was identical to a snake flicking its tongue, but the volume and the sheer level of danger it conveyed were on an entirely different plane.
Dragon finally bore witness to the creature’s full glory. And he wasn’t alone. Cavendish, who had retreated to the nation’s border; Gilteo, Sabo, and the other Revolutionary Army officers preparing for extraction; and the fortunate few citizens of Ilisia who hadn’t been swallowed by the chaos, anyone who remained conscious and looked toward the heavens could see parts of its body.
The head of a serpent, fins like a fish, jagged fangs, and a flickering tongue.
In legend, there existed a creature below the dragon known as a "Jiao," but this thing bore no resemblance to one. A Jiao typically shared eighty percent of its features with a dragon; this entity shared none. Its only similarity was a massive, seemingly endless body.
Hiss-hiss-hiss—
The monster flicked its tongue, its colossal frame swaying with high-amplitude movements. A pair of serpentine pupils locked onto the "small" dragon before it.
Jormungandr, commonly known as the Midgard Serpent.
Legend spoke of a giant serpent whose length was enough to encircle half the world, an evil existence capable of stirring the tides to do battle with the gods. Only the True Ancestor of vampires could bend such a creature to his will.
In his Mythical Zoan form, Dragon’s body spanned dozens of meters, a size that was undoubtedly top-tier among Zoan users. Yet, compared to Jormungandr, he looked like a single chopstick standing against a massive pillar. It felt as though he could become the creature’s next meal at any second.
In myth, the dragon is the incarnation of justice; the serpent, a monster of pure evil. At this moment, it appeared that justice was about to be swallowed by the dark.
"M-monster!"
Along the predetermined retreat route, Sabo looked at the sky and couldn’t help but shout. He had never seen the actual size of Wolf, the "Colossal Battleship," but he felt he didn’t need to anymore. The biological horror before him had already shattered the limits of what his mind could grasp.
Suddenly, Jormungandr’s tail descended from the sky to the earth. Alucard stepped onto it as if ascending a staircase. Minutes later, he stood atop the serpent’s head, facing Dragon.
"I really should thank you for helping me attain this power, Dragon," Alucard said calmly.
"I’ve spent my life defeating opponents whose size far exceeded my own."
Dragon’s implication was clear: Jormungandr’s scale did not intimidate him.
Alucard’s eyes flashed, and the giant serpent’s pupils erupted with a bloody light. It churned its body through the clouds, lunging at the "little dragon."
Dragon wasted no words. Rather than a head-on clash, he intended to win through strategy. Utilizing a body that possessed far greater maneuverability than Jormungandr’s, he began to weave through the cloud layer.
A chase ensued. Two titans became entangled in the sky, though to those with poor eyesight, it simply looked like a black serpent dancing madly in the clouds. The size difference was simply too vast.
Terrified civilians either retreated to their homes, wrapping themselves in blankets while shivering, or fell to their knees in prayer, muttering desperate pleas to whatever gods might listen.
Roar!
The wind whistled incessantly. As Jormungandr pursued Dragon at high speeds, the gale and mist roared past Alucard’s ears, causing his hair to whip wildly behind him.
Though dwarfed by the Midgard Serpent, Dragon’s Mythical Zoan form used its agility to circle the creature’s massive body. He struck out with his claws periodically, perfectly exploiting his own strengths against the enemy’s lack of speed.
"With attacks like those, you could keep striking until dawn and you still wouldn’t kill this beast."
Alucard mocked him, but his words failed to rattle Dragon. The revolutionary leader continued his pattern, using his Haki-clad claws to leave bloody gashes across the massive hide that was tens of times larger than his own.
"I told you... it’s useless."
Alucard narrowed his eyes. As he spoke, the serpent skin torn by Dragon began to heal at a rate visible to the naked eye. Any damage Dragon inflicted was completely restored within two seconds.
Alucard’s familiars were imbued with a life force linked to his own. As long as Alucard himself did not die, he could use the lives within the River of Death to provide infinite regeneration.
"Then... I only need to create an opening to retreat."
Dragon had no intention of giving up. Once you surrender, all is lost.
With that thought, Dragon ceased his attacks. Harnessing the power of wind and clouds, he pushed his speed to its limit. His maneuverability was far superior to that of Jormungandr.
"Hmm? This is..."
After three minutes of this high-speed pursuit, Alucard, braving the buffeting winds, realized Dragon’s objective.
Despite having superior speed and agility, Dragon wasn’t trying to flee. Instead, he was spiraling around Jormungandr’s body, drawing the circles tighter and tighter. By the time the serpent realized what was happening, its head had passed through a loop created by its own tail. As it prepared to swallow the "little dragon," it felt a sharp pain in its neck. Looking back, it saw its own pointed tail pressed against its throat, threatening to pierce its own scales and flesh.
"Hahahaha! An old trick, but an effective one!" Alucard laughed uproariously from atop the serpent’s head as he saw Jormungandr’s movements becoming snarled and obstructed.

A Mythical Zoan Dragon that is only dozens of meters long, lol. This fic is really too old. Kaido’s dragon form alone spans at least half a kilometer long, making Dragon’s dragon form look like a worm by comparison.
