Ivy Kensington walked over, her expression equally pained.

"Who are you?"

Leo’s mother wiped her tears with the back of her hand and asked.

Then she scrutinized Ivy’s features, although her face was still injured, it wasn’t hard to see the resemblance between her and Leo Sherman.

Is this the sister Leo was talking about that they found?

Leo’s mother realized and immediately wiped her tears clean, grabbing Ivy’s hands, "Are you Leo’s sister?"

Ivy was a little surprised, not expecting Leo’s mother to know her, and she nodded.

Leo’s parents’ expressions turned gloomy, "The doctors said he is likely to remain in a vegetative state."

She thought that with proper treatment, Leo would eventually recover, but now, he would forever be bedridden as a vegetable!

Ivy covered her eyes and began to cry.

She regretted, wishing she had died in that fire rather than see Leo lying on the hospital bed like this. It was too heartbreaking.

"Ivy."

Sharon Langley had been standing behind her all this time, seeing her cry so sorrowfully, she quickly came over to support her.

"It’s okay, this will pass."

"Good child, can you tell me what happened, why was Leo so seriously injured?"

Leo’s mother couldn’t help but ask what was on her mind, seeing Ivy repeatedly apologizing.

Leo usually worked at the university, and she never imagined that one day he would be so severely hurt.

Ivy looked at Leo’s parents’ kind eyes, but the words stuck in her throat.

She couldn’t face them.

It was her fault that Leo was involved.

"Good child, go back and recover in your room. We will take care of Leo."

She then led her back to the room.

"Ivy, I know you’re hurting inside, but Leo’s parents are already old. Telling them what happened would only make them feel worse. The person who hit Leo has already been caught. Let’s wait until everything is settled, and then we can tell them the truth."

Sharon comforted her.

But Ivy caught the key word, "What about Claire Crowley? Has Claire Crowley been caught?"

That driver was just a scapegoat for Claire; she was the true mastermind. Only by catching Claire would this matter be resolved!

Sharon looked at her and shook her head: "Claire Crowley has gone missing. The police have yet to find any trace of her..."
