One more catty, one more attribute point-Chapter 561 - 462 Memory Restoration, Original Blood River
The enormous Flame Demon had initially thought of running away, but seeing Lilith charging towards it, it instead stopped in its tracks.

From Su Heng’s perspective, the size difference between the two was completely disproportionate, like comparing a small rabbit in the forest to a Tyrannosaurus rex. The Flame Demon, hailing from the Original Blood River, was naturally very ferocious, and now it was fully provoked by the flamboyant and unrestrained demeanor of Lilith, causing its rage to burst forth uncontrollably.
Roar!
In the roar, more than a dozen blood-red fire pillars splashed into the sky.
The Flame Demon turned its massive body and swung a punch, smashing it down towards Lilith.
The pale and delicate palm collided with the meteor-like rough, fiery giant fist. The immense forces squeezed against each other, producing a rapidly expanding ring of red flames. The ground along its path was torn up amidst successive explosive sounds. Even some of the closer Dragon Guards couldn’t maintain their balance, being toppled over by the violent blast wave; one could imagine the staggering power unleashed.

The Flame Demon, with a face carved like a knife, wore a look of terror, feeling the massive force surging up its arm.
The colliding arms burst first, followed by the massive body losing balance, falling to the ground with a loud crash. Lilith’s arm was also broken, blood gushing out violently, yet the expression on her face became even more exhilarated as she leaped onto the chest of the Flame Demon and started pounding with punch after punch, each containing the power of a divine hammer.
The Flame Demon’s body, tougher than steel, couldn’t withstand the impact and burst apart, its rock-like head rolling on the ground, still glowing with firelight within its eyes.
"Kill them all!"
The Dragon Guard Leader raised his hand to give the command.
The remaining Dragon Guards promptly formed up in a formation, circling from all sides.
Like orcas hunting fish, the demons were herded together, followed by an extremely efficient slaughter.
In just a quarter of an hour, this war had come to an end. With blood splashing out, the last demon’s carcass fell to the ground. The flesh and blood of these demons were excellent materials for alchemy, but the Dragon Guards stood far away, letting the scorching blood flow on the ground, merging into small rivers resembling Purgatory.
Following that, the blood-stained land seemed to slowly come to life.
The ground hummed and trembled, tearing open fissures, from which sulfurous, pungent smoke emerged. These bottomless fissures writhed and roared like greedy gaping maws. The flesh of the demons was thus devoured by the earth, but when it came to the Flame Demon, Lilith tilted her head thoughtfully and picked up the massive stone head.
Boom!
Thunder rumbled in the already cloud-covered sky.
Blinding white lightning tore the sky apart, followed by cold winds cutting like knives.
The branches of the Spirit Void Dao Wood swayed in the wind, the lush grass rustling across the fields, and then the patter of rain swiftly falling from the sky. Splashes of water blossomed in front of Su Heng, the mountain mist blurry, the white noise coming from all directions relaxing. The rain was hurried, not lasting long, only about the duration of a few cups of tea before it ended.
Then, the clouds in the sky dispersed, revealing a deep red rainbow. The branches of the Spirit Void Dao Wood were as green as jade, and the grass in the fields visibly grew half a meter. Taibola Volcano no longer erupted, gradually quieting down, and the whole world was enveloped in profound silence.
Following that, distant roars echoed, and in the distant valleys, huge Two-legged Flying Dragons flapped their wings, flying towards the clouds.
Su Heng watched this scene, his face contemplative.
The Spirit Void Dao Wood was rooted within the Blood Realm, spreading its spiritual power like a tidal wave, fully aware of the changes occurring within. As these demons fell within the Blood Realm, their nutrients were absorbed, nourishing the originating power of the Blood Realm, and further manifesting the scenes that had just unfolded.
Snap!
With that thought.
Su Heng slowly descended from the sky, landing in the muddy puddle.
The Dragon Guards shared a blood connection with Su Heng, and they had sensed his return to the Blood Realm.
At this moment, they showed no surprise at Su Heng’s appearance, quickly reassembling their formation. Their tall bodies stood like a strict tower of iron, and with a crisp sound, they all saluted Su Heng in unison. The Two-legged Flying Dragons also circled down from the sky, folding their wings and landing steadily on the ground, their heads submissively drooping, forming a ceremonial corridor on both sides.
At the end of the corridor was Lilith.
Lilith knelt on the ground, her face bearing a submissive look, her blood-red hair cascading down her shoulders, "Father."
"Hmm," Su Heng stopped, smiling, "You’ve done well. It seems you’ve practiced diligently during this period."
The Flame Demon had almost reached the peak just below the usual Demon Gods, yet was easily killed by Lilith. Now, the power Lilith possessed had surpassed her past peak when she was without the blessing of the Blood Realm. With such progress, reaching the Realm Lord Realm would not take long, and this still wasn’t the limit of Lilith’s potential.
"I..."
At Su Heng’s signal, Lilith stood up.
She raised her head, her face showing a trace of distress, apparently troubled by something, but not knowing how to start.
"What happened to you during my absence?" Su Heng’s expression remained unchanged, patiently asking.
"I sometimes dream of bizarre things, and I feel frightened..." Lilith furrowed her brow, unsure of how to begin.
"Dreams?" Su Heng was surprised.
"Perhaps father could find some answers from my memories." At this moment, Lilith vaguely knew something had happened to her, but she was not fixated on these things. Su Heng’s overwhelming power drove her to despair, and after being reborn, her memory was a blank slate; the one thing she wanted was Su Heng’s approval.
This desire stemmed partially from a thirst for power and partially from an innate fear.
The dual emotions compounded, making Lilith dare not hide anything in front of Su Heng.
She even willingly exposed her Spiritual Domain.
Su Heng did not refuse. A cooling sensation spread in Lilith’s consciousness, and some of her memories were accessed. Lilith had not been awake for long, and the contents of her memories were sparse. Su Heng quickly scanned these fragmented pieces, seeing a dazzling starry sky, falling meteors, and a silver laboratory filled with cables and Cultivation Chambers.
Su Heng had previously suspected that Lilith was an experiment created by some powerful beings, and now these memory fragments seemed to support that theory.
As for why these were suddenly exposed...
Though Lilith’s brain had suffered serious trauma, it didn’t mean her memories were completely erased.
On the other hand, it might also be related to those who created Lilith.
Su Heng stroked his chin, pondering.
Lilith looked up at Su Heng’s expression, her face anxious.
Suddenly, a warm hand gently rested on her shoulder, causing her body to instinctively tense, her muscles as hard as steel. But as the warmth from the palm sank in, Lilith gradually relaxed, her body feeling as soft as flowing water.
"You’re afraid," Su Heng’s voice reached her, Lilith couldn’t even see his face.
"Yes," Lilith pondered for a long time, then said, "I’m afraid that as those memories resurface in my mind, you might kill me."
"You really are an honest child." An appreciative smile spread across Su Heng’s face; though Lilith couldn’t see it, she could hear the tsking from the monster’s mouth.
"But, why would you think that?"
"Because I’m afraid you might see me as a threat," Lilith answered without a second thought.
Yet, her face slowly revealed a look of dawning realization, as if she was coming to terms with a misconception she had always held.
The nervous expression on Lilish’s face disappeared, replaced by a relieved smile. She gently picked off the hand resting on her shoulder, rubbing it against her cheek. It was as if she had shed a huge burden; Lilith’s smile was radiant, shining brightly like fields after the rain, "I understand now, father."
How could someone as powerful and proud as Su Heng see her as a threat?
"If one day I truly become a threat to the Demon Dragon, perhaps father will actually be pleased." Having realized this, Lilith felt the whole world suddenly brighten.
Su Heng stroked Lilith’s head, "Train well, do not let your talents go to waste."
"Okay."
Lilith nodded like a pecking chicken.
Looking around, she then lifted the head of a Flame Demon over her head. "This is my best gain since being reborn, and I want to offer it as a gift to father."
Su Heng glanced at it.
With the corpse of a King Insect available, even the carcasses of top Demon Gods no longer caught his eye.
But the head of the Flame Demon, brimming with its essence of energy, would make an interesting hanging light in the secret room, quite stylish.
So, he nodded and said, "It’s rare that you have such thoughtfulness."
...
After saying goodbye to Lilith, Su Heng returned to the Magma Cave carved below the volcano.
The area of this space was vast, and since the last time he secluded himself for training, it had been specially expanded and rebuilt. The central platform had been shattered, replaced by a boiling lake of magma, which gathered the essence of the Blood Realm. The temperature it generated could melt tungsten metal, which in a natural environment, would have been merely a third of its heat.
With a plunk!
Su Heng stripped off his clothes and jumped into the scorching red lake.
The thick lava flowed along his skin, the temperature enough to melt any metal, yet it only made Su Heng feel slightly warm. He moved his shoulder joints, about to revert to his original form and take out the newly acquired Insect Swarm Heart for a thorough study.
Just then, a chilly breeze blew through the sealed chamber, followed by a ghost in red and black hair appearing in front of Su Heng.
