Nobody expected Igor to once again hit the enemy's vital point, leaving the snowmen powerless to fight back.

Stan Sol also never expected that a problem solvable by a mere burst of fire would actually cost him so much stamina… π•—π«πšŽπ—²π˜„πžπ•“π§π• π˜ƒπ•–π₯.πœπš˜πš–

This flame engulfed the snowmen, leaving them no chance of getting back up. Nothing could transcend the Natural Force. Before it, everything else seemed insignificant.

Even Wizards, who prided themselves on wielding the Natural Force, dared not claim that anything in this world could overcome it.

All power was but a mimicry of the Natural Force. The Natural Force was invincible.

Igor was not surprised. "It's simple logic that snow melts when it encounters fire. Conversely, snow can extinguish fireβ€”it's all relative. It's just about reaching a point of balance."

Although they seemed to have the upper hand and were repressing their enemy's attack, Battle Pet Fiery Blaze was actually taking serious damage. They just didn't feel it themselves.

"Sol, can your Battle Pet feel pain?" Igor was always different, always thinking about things that others wouldn't notice.

Stan Sol was stumped by his question. This… He'd only focused on how his Battle Pet had suppressed these mysterious snowmen, but he'd never considered whether the Battle Pet would get hurt doing so! Theoretically, his Battle Pet was a flame with a Spirit, an existence with Spirit Power, so it should be considered a Living Entity. And Living Entities should feel pain, right? But even if he felt this way, he couldn't say it. After all, he was the one who had pushed his Battle Pet forward to suppress the snowmen, even if Igor was the one who had suggested it.

"Doesn't it hurt him?" Igor was still relentless.

Stan Sol felt a headache coming on…

Igor, seeing Stan Sol's cold face, could only answer his own question. "I suppose it would hurt. But this is a battle; there's nothing we can do about that." It was no fun talking to himself. Stan Sol simply responded with a grunt, which stopped Igor from launching into a lengthy explanation.

Everyone thought Igor was really weird and couldn't figure out what his intentions were.

In the eyes of this group on the mountain, anyone who came to Guru Mountain must have a very clear goal.

Either they wanted to get rich, or they dreamed of getting the elusive White Cloud Fruit, or they were searching for the missing Great Mentor, just like the members of the Alchemy Workshop.

Clear goals would give them the drive to take action, but Igor's purpose was unclear. They couldn't discern why this young man had come to the mountain. He didn't seem greedy like the others, and no one could figure out his true objective for being there.

At this moment, everyone was focused on repelling the dark invaders and had no time to ponder Igor's intentions.

Igor seemed to be an unknown, somewhat like the Dark Wizard Reed.

The people on the mountain didn't quite understand either of them; the two seemed inherently mysterious.

Igor didn't reflect on himself just because of others' doubts. He felt everything was perfectly normal. Thus, at this moment, he was still worried about whether Battle Pet Fiery Blaze could hold on.

"Shall we lend a helping hand to the Battle Pet?" Kadi chimed in, clearly enjoying the commotion and eager to stir things up further. He was simply following Igor's lead.

"I would like to, but I don't know what I'm supposed to do," answered Igor.

This exchange made Stan Sol want to find a hole to crawl into.

This was his Battle Pet, and now it had fallen to the point of being cared about by others…

This Igor fellow was truly someone you couldn't afford to casually engage with. He was like a clinging vine; once you made contact, he'd immediately leave a noticeable mark.

That was why most of the people present chose silence…

Even though the snowmen were halted, the enemy showed no signs of stopping. More snowmen continuously rose from the ground, only to melt instantly from the flame's intense heat before they could even get close.

It felt as if the enemy was also recklessly driving these snowmen to their deaths… Could it be that the enemy didn't care about the snowmen's pain either? No, wait. These snowmen had no Spirit Power at all, so how could they feel anything?

In truth, Wizard Reed wasn't trying to fight these people to a standstill with the snowmen. He knew the snowmen had obvious weaknesses; even if they leveled up, they wouldn't pose a real threat to these experts. His only goal was to delay for time. So, even though these people had found an easy way to deal with the snowmen, he would relentlessly command more of them to rise from the ground.

What he wanted was time, not victory or defeat. These snowmen were simple to operate. As long as he drove them properly, they could buy him a lot of time…

However, even so, Wizard Reed still felt a little uncomfortable.

He had originally thought these snowmen would be sturdier and could hold out for him a bit longer. Who knew this group of experts would see through it so quickly… What puzzled him even more was that among this group of experts, there was actually someone skilled with fire. Wasn't that the perfect counter to his snowmen? He truly hadn't anticipated that.

Wizard Reed had initially felt his preparations were more than sufficient. He had thoroughly researched the experts on Guru Mountain. It was precisely because his prior preparations were so detailed that he could make such targeted attacks in their recent confrontations, trapping many experts. Simon, Arnold, Joela Pedro from the Alchemy Workshop, and others had all fallen into his traps. If not for that small squad capable of catching Lightning, he might very well have found the direction of the ancient Fossil Key by now…

However, that small squad that could catch Lightning…

The mere thought of them gave Wizard Reed a dull headache. This unknown squad might not seem particularly powerful, but they were exceptionally skilled at causing trouble. Moreover, this kind of disruption always managed to sabotage his plans. Although he knew that the more chaotic the situation, the more advantageous it was for him, if he didn't have control over that chaos, then everything was for naught.

Wizard Reed craved control. But now, an unknown element had crept into his mind, and it seemed to be affecting his grip on that control.

Wizard Reed kept wondering, Who on earth is it? Why does this inexplicable force feel so strange? To be precise, 'force' isn't the right word to describe it, because the other party was simply causing chaos aimlessly. It was impossible to see what they were trying to achieve.
