Alex was furious that his hidden secrets were being revealed to Joanna, unaware that she already knew.

He signaled to Aiden, who approached him as Alex whispered,

"Colton must not survive another day."

Despite giving Colton a chance to stay away from Joanna and live, he was enraged by Colton’s public declaration of love for her. Alex feared that Colton’s words might trigger Joanna’s memory of their past relationship.

His phone camera was so powerful that he could zoom in from where he stood to capture a clear image of Colton.

Joanna was currently confused, but since this wasn’t a love marriage, even without her memory, the choice was clear.

She already knew why she couldn’t remember Colton from her past, as her mother had told her it was due to an accident.

This information was only revealed recently after Colton mentioned it at the hospital, prompting her to press her mother for details.

"Colton, I did lose my memory, but may I ask, did you propose to me or did I propose to you?"

Colton felt like crying. After taking a risk to visit her and reveal her memory loss, she still chose Alex over him.

Alex wrapped his arm around her waist, captivated by her words. Joanna blushed, hoping he understood that her words were just for show.
