(Spy Chapter POV)

I am a spy! At least that is what I call myself as I spend our guild resources hanging… I mean observing the Pantheon guild I am observing them because of the command of my guild leader. I am just one of many spies that actually hang out in Pantheon. We even have a bar that we even go to in order to give information to each other.

Anyways, the one that I am currently observing is the notorious alchemist of the Pantheon guild. He is known as Brew and is one of the most notable player alchemists He is known to actually create potions and even pills of legendary grade with ease. He is pretty much coveted by a lot of guilds but there are few guilds that can actually control him.

The Pantheon guild is one of them because of its incredibly lax rules that actually favors individuality. The only time when the Pantheon guild actually convenes with one another is when the guild leader needs a raid to happen. A raid that he cannot handle by himself but that rarely happens. The guild leader of the Pantheon guild is actually unofficially called the walking army.

A guild leader that can decimate thousands by his own and his soulbounds can do the same is not on the level of normal. I can even dare to say that the guild leader of the Pantheon guild is leagues above my own guild leader, but I cannot add that to my report. I must preserve the dignity of my own guild leader that is funding my espionage.

Back to the subject in question, Brew is quite easy to find a history on as he is not really secretive or elusive like some of the guild members. In fact, I have seen him way before he became notorious for his skills in creating potions. He was actually one of the first party members I hunted with when I was still a newbie.

Even back then Brew showed such interest in creating potions that he even picked the Shaman Job class at first. I do not know when he changed his overall class to Alchemist, but it might have happened when he entered a field called the Witch' Forest. It seems that this was his prior location before he showed his masterful talents in creating potions of the Legendary Tier.

The sudden creation of a Legendary Potion shook the market for players as such potions rarely get circulated in auctions. Even noble NPCs joined the fight for that potion as it has great healing properties that could detoxify any sickness of Legendary Tier and below. I think it was a kingdom that won that potion but all I can say is that Brew is loaded.

It is actually not difficult to socialize with Brew as he is actually easy to approach. The only downside to approaching him is that you become one of the test subjects for his potions. Fortunately, only a small count of players would die from such tragic experiments, but he often gives them a Legendary Pill that gives +10 to a random stat as an apology. Of course, the dying was not the reason why people rarely talked to him anymore. It was the fact that his trial potions tasted terrible.

Some said that he created a potion that smelled like wet socks that grown mold all over. Even a whiff of that potion made the players faint. There is even a rumor going around that the poor soul that drank that potion vowed to never get near Brew again. I, on the other hand, chat with him from time to time as I already basically burned my taste buds because of him. I am one of the unfortunate ones that drank his horrific potions resulting in death and the inability to taste.

I do not blame him for the disappearance of my sense of taste in the game, but that experience did give me such profound appreciation for the taste of food in the real world. Anyways, I actually got compensated a lot by Brew and also gained the Ingested Poison Immunity skill as a result of losing my sense of taste. I am actually happy as a spy should be resistant to poison that I can drink.

I might not have poison immunity when it comes with poison attacks, but I did get the Lesser Poison Immunity skill from continuously drinking his potions. Maybe complete poison immunity is not a pipe dream for a spy like me. He did start to create topical potions and would often have me try it. Maybe he is actually helping me with my dream even though I have not told him about it.

I suddenly remembered that there is actually another moniker for Brew. He is actually called the Cauldron Alchemist because he usually rides a magical cauldron. This magical cauldron looked like it has infinite space inside of it and is actually a magically bound item. Some players tried to steal it from him back then, but they got doused by the potion that is brewed inside of it.

Due to him always being inside the magical cauldron and hurling potions that he created from the brews he made; Brew is actually speculated as a Witch but there is a debate regarding that. There is even an online debate back then where a lot of players explicitly told that only females can be witches. I do not know about that as Brew rarely talks about his job class when I talk with him. Then again, I usually get sick by his potions so there is barely any discussion if I think about it.

==

Adrian: Hey, Brew! I am curious about your Job Class. You are a Witch, right? What kind of Witch?'

Brew: How did the guild leader know?! I became a Brewery Witch when I met the hidden witch that lives in the Witch' Forest. She is also my mentor, but she never told me her real name. She often lets me call her Jezibaba though.
