"Can you… brute force this formation?" Levin Cloud whispered in the group chat.

"I can but that would take the fun out of it. Also, how are we going to find out who cause this? I also have another plan in mind. Listen to this." Adrian replied as a figure suddenly appeared before them.

The figure is the only one that has any life force in a sea of undead covered in mist. The group already learned that they were surrounded by undead as they have two of the most sensitive people when it comes to death energy. The only reason they did not move is the fact that they are waiting for the person they can sense inside the mist.

"Quite the unexpected reaction for people that have been trapped inside my formation." The voice of a woman stated as she revealed herself to the group.

The woman was dressed in a glaring red outfit that is only seen or worn by dead people. She also held a ceremonial fan that has inscriptions on them. She also has a white robe made of silk that freely flows in the wind. The most distinguishing feature of the woman in question is the fact that she was blind.

The woman was not blind naturally as her blindness is due to an attack. There is a large scar on her face that traces from the upper left side to the upper right side. It looked like it was scratched by a feral monster with sharp claws.

"Who are you? And why are you doing this to us?!" Adrian asked as he pointed his spear towards the enemy that appeared before them.

"Kekeke. You do not need to know who I am because all of you shall die here. I even made this special formation to make sure that others do not interfere with my plans. The sudden arrival of the other guard was not what I intended but killing him will be easy enough. After all, I have isolated this place to make sure that no one gets in or out. No one will hear your cries as you die from the rabid attacks of my undead." The woman stated.

As soon as the woman told them that they were isolated, Peridot, Levin Cloud, and Kabrakan looked towards Adrian. They looked at him for confirmation as this was essential for the plan he concocted moving forward. Adrian met their gaze and have a nod of approval that they are indeed isolated with no one being able to observe from the outside world.

"It seems that my words have scared you stiff." The woman stated but Peridot just jumped down from Levin Cloud's back and dusted herself off.

"Finally! I thought I had to act like that for a long time." Peridot stated as she proceeded to stretch her legs.

"My back! I mean, being in that position is quite difficult." Levin Cloud stated as he suddenly changed some of his words mid speech as he felt that Peridot is more terrifying than the enemy that appeared in front of them.

"What is the meaning of this!?" The woman stated in shock.

"It means that we no longer have to act for now." Adrian stated as he suddenly appeared next to the enemy.

The enemy did not even detect how Adrian managed to come close to her. Adrian proceeded to attack the enemy with his spear, but an invisible barrier suddenly blocked him from doing anything. The barrier is powered by the same formation which is actually connected to all of the undead around them.

Adrian immediately retreated as the woman suddenly used a spell that created a burst of miasma from her location. The enemy might have been shocked of Adrian's arrival, but she managed to get her thoughts back in order. This was not the first time that she was unable to follow the movements of her enemies. There are a lot of Immortals that prioritize speed after all.

"You cannot kill me because I made it impossible to do so. I prepared so intensely the moment I learned of the fact that you have been carrying a spatial artifact. Hand it over and I might think about whether I will keep you alive." The woman stated.

"Who told you that we have a spatial relic? No one should have known about this fact." Adrian asked.

"Hah! You think that strutting around Kunlun with an artifact that radiates spatial energy is not dangerous?! The fact that all of you were not mugged on the street is due to the fact that Immortals have pride. They would not dare rob anyone openly as it would hurt their image." The woman stated.

"To think that Immortals are afraid of tarnishing their reputation but would resort to underhanded means when they are not in the spotlight. Such an interesting fact about Immortals as they act like humans from time to time. No wonder no Immortal has ever reached the last stage. They cannot leave their worldly desires or rather their worldly desires outmatch their will to become gods." Adrian mocked.

"You dare say that when you are like us! Unlike us that have pride on ourselves, you would dare to stoop so low that you would be a servant to a sick and spoiled mistress." The enemy stated as she pointed to Peridot.

"I am sick of hearing her talk. Can we proceed to kill her now?" Peridot stated.

"Yeah. She clearly does not work for the Primordial Beast of Greed. We would get nothing from letting her yap all day." Levin Cloud stated.

"My hands are getting bored." Kabrakan added.

"How dare you! Do you not know who I am?! I did not introduce myself because I am extremely famous! A genius that is able to combine Formations and Corpse Cultivation! You dare look down on the incredibly beautiful and fierce, Mu Gou!" Mu Gou shouted but all of them just look towards Peridot as she should be the one knowledgeable of important figures in the eastern continent.

"Ah! I remember her! She is that famous Immortal that said to have foolishly challenged the White Tiger as she was too full of herself. She begged for her life to be spared when she was pitifully thrashed about, and she was successful. Except, the white tiger blinded her which is why she got the nickname of Tiger Poop!" Peridot stated as she remembered Mu Gou as her story was incredibly entertaining.

"Why Tiger Poop?" Adrian asked.

"She was thrown to the part of the Tiger Canyon after being blinded. The part where she was thrown at is where most of the tigers release their excrements and pee." Peridot stated with a chuckle.

"You dare tarnish my image!" Mu Gou shouted as t energy she released was incredibly powerful.

"I would have at least spared your mistress if she handed over the spatial artifact, but she cannot control her mouth! All of my undead! Kill them!" Mu Gou commanded as the undead hidden in mist charged towards Adrian and the others.

"I guess I will need to deal with this horde. Blessing of the Mother Earth: Land Purification!" Levin Cloud shouted as he took out his weapon and infused divine energy inside of it.

The pendulum received an ample amount of divine energy and then released a small drop of golden liquid. This golden liquid dropped to the tainted ground and released its energy in a rippling effect. The powerful divine energy released a purifying light that destroyed any undead that was weak. Mid tier undead were damaged greatly and turned to dust after a few seconds.

Levin Cloud basically purified the ground with his divine energy, and it has lasting effects. The tainted ground that had no life is suddenly filled with grass and small wildflowers. The undead that were hiding on the ground no longer erupted from it as they turned to dust from where they are buried. The look of disbelief on Mu Gou's face as she could feel all her undead perish.

The formation she created is unique as it lets her feel everything inside of it. The formation she creates is basically her eyes as it was destroyed by the divine beast she offended. She also connected the formation to every undead that she summoned which strengthened it even more.

She did not know why but she gained the ability to tap into the special energy of the undead when her sight was taken away. She then gained a more powerful ability that lets her fuse her formations with the energy of the undead. She already had the ability to use formations and corpse cultivations before but not perfectly fusing them together. If she had this ability when she fought the White Tiger, then she might have successfully escaped instead of being humiliated.

"Impossible! All of my undead were destroyed!" Mu Gou exclaimed in shock as even monks are not able to cleanse undead in a large area.
