Not All Heroes From Earth Are Bad-Chapter 104
Hero of the Holy Empire Gatren – Worsten Gesred, the Brilliant and Devout. A hero for 10 years with 30 years of military experience.
His power far surpassed Byron Hane’s, with superior technique, vast holy power, and rich experience. Yet Worsten remained cautious, unlike the reckless Byron.
‘Can’t guarantee victory one-on-one. Must use full power from the start.’
“Knights, ready the magic tools!”
Two hundred knights emerged from their soldier disguises. Reidrun’s expression hardened.
“Well prepared.”
Two heroes and two hundred knights – nearly a small nation’s full strength. Only the Holy Empire would commit such forces to capture one demon executive.
Magic tools of all types surrounded him – tools to suppress magic, restrain demonic energy, and bind bodies. The cost was immeasurable.
“Attack!” Worsten ordered, raising his iron mace.
Dozens of harpoons flew – tools designed to drain demonic energy. Reidrun realized they meant to capture, not kill him.
‘They’re targeting Lady Hemis…’
Their plan was likely to use him as bait. But Hemis wouldn’t be swayed by emotions.
“This won’t go as planned!” Reidrun shouted, crushing a knight’s head.
The brutal battle raged. Over ten harpoons pierced Reidrun before he finally fell to his knees. The knights bound him with restraining tools.
Just as they thought it was over, his muscles began to bulge, straining against the restraints.
“Fools! Keep using the tools! Use two, three if one isn’t enough!” Worsten shouted.
Finally subdued, Reidrun sighed. “So this is how it ends…”
The cost was severe – one-third of the knights were dead, Byron critically wounded, and Worsten injured. Dozens of magic tools lay destroyed.
“Kill me,” Reidrun said emotionlessly.
“Can’t do that. You know why we captured you,” Worsten replied, gripping his mace.
“Lady Hemis won’t care.”
“We’ll see about that. When you wake up, you’ll be in the capital, Gratiam.”
Worsten prepared to knock him unconscious for transport. Even bound, Reidrun remained dangerous.
At that moment when Worsten gripped his mace tighter.
A massive roar echoed.
KWAAANG!
The demonic energy was so thick it made the air vibrate.
Turning his head, he saw a massive hound(?) the size of an elephant.
“A demon beast!?”
Just as he was startled by Bobo rushing out of the forest.
Worsten quickly raised his mace.
Based on the situation, this was clearly enemy reinforcement.
He might have to let go of the barely captured Reidrun.
‘The losses are already big. I can’t let the Red Nightmare escape!’
If he’s going to lose him anyway, he’ll kill him here!
The mace, sticky with blood and flesh, was raised.
Just before it fell towards Reidrun’s head.
KWADUK!

“Kuhuk…!?”
Something struck Worsten’s side hard.
When he hurriedly turned his gaze, he saw someone who had rammed him with their shoulder.
Worsten’s eyes widened.
‘A Hero…?’
A large man with black hair.
It was easy to guess who he was.
‘Choi Hyun-seok!’
It was the traitor Hero Choi Hyun-seok.
***
Choi Hyun-seok gathered all his demonic energy.
‘Combat power 180,000. Can’t win in a direct fight even if I die and come back. Must seize the advantage with the first surprise attack.’
Worsten Gesred’s combat power was an incredible 180,000.
Higher than Byron Hane’s, 150,000.
Higher than Reidrun’s, 160,000.
That’s why Choi Hyun-seok bet everything on the first attack.

Form 3 – Fierce Charge
Just before Worsten’s mace fell.
Choi Hyun-seok ‘s shoulder rammed into Worsten’s waist.
“How dare this bastard try to lay hands on him!”
As Worsten’s waist bent strangely, he went flying.
“Bobo! Open your mouth! Food’s coming!”
Bobo was waiting where Worsten flew.
Bobo licked his lips seeing Worsten flying straight at him.
“KWANG~”
His jaws opened wide.
And Worsten flew right in.
That’s the end.
Choi Hyun-seok immediately turned his attention to Reidrun.
“Lord Reidrun. Are you alright!?”
“Choi Hyun-seok … How did you get here…”
“Wait. I’ll free you right away.”
He destroyed the magic tools binding Reidrun.
He cut off all the harpoons draining demonic energy from his body.
He didn’t remove the harpoon tips.
The bleeding could become dangerous if removed carelessly.
“Ku, kugh…!”
Just then, a groan was heard from somewhere.
Byron Hane, who had collapsed nearby, opened his eyes.
“Y-you! What are you!?”
Byron Hane was shocked.
Though he didn’t understand the situation, one thing was clear.
Reidrun was being freed again.
He had to move quickly.
Just as Byron tried to get up.
Choi Hyun-seok ‘s leg swung like lightning.

Form 2 – Expression of Respect
A technique that attacks the opponent’s lower body to break their balance.
But Byron was already collapsed on the ground.
As a result, Choi Hyun-seok ‘s leg struck Byron’s head.
KWANG!
As purple light burst forth, Byron Hane’s head bent sharply backward.
‘This one needs to die now.’
Choi Hyun-seok had already checked Byron’s combat power too.
His combat power was 150,000.
Similarly impossible to win in a direct fight.
Fortunately, Byron was severely injured.
This was the only chance to finish him while he hadn’t regained his senses.
CHWAK!
Choi Hyun-seok ‘s leg split 180 degrees and pointed skyward.
Demonic energy rushed to his toes.
Choi Hyun-seok pushed the energy to its limit.
This wasn’t an opponent he could afford to think about the aftermath with.

Form 2 – Head Smash
The leg that had shot skyward fell with black flames.
Byron Hane’s eyes widened.
‘M-must block…!’
In the final moment.
Time flowed slowly for Byron.
Choi Hyun-seok ‘s approaching foot.
The mud stuck to the bottom of his dirty shoe grew larger.
‘Must block…!’
Though he thought he needed to move, it was already too late.
KWADUK!
Byron Hane’s neck bent strangely as his forehead took a direct hit.
He died instantly.
It was an anticlimactic end for the most promising young hero of the Holy Empire Gatren.
[Level up!] [Level up!] [Level up!] [Level up!] [Level up!] [Level up!] [Level up!] [Level up!]….
Level-up notifications came in succession.
Choi Hyun-seok ignored them and checked on Reidrun again.
“Lord Reidrun?”
Reidrun was already standing.
“Are you alright?”
“Hmm, I can move well enough.”
Reidrun’s battlefield demeanor was different.
Despite being covered in blood and having dozens of harpoon tips stuck in his body, his expression didn’t change.
He lightly rolled his shoulders to loosen up.
“Let’s save the thanks for after the battle, Choi Hyun-seok. For now, we need to finish dealing with the enemy.”
“Yes. Don’t worry. I’ve already dealt with the strongest ones.”
He had personally finished Byron Hane.
Worsten Gesred had disappeared into Bobo’s stomach.
With the two heroes eliminated, only regular soldiers and knights remained.
The knights were quite threatening, but with Bobo and Reidrun here, it wouldn’t be a problem.
“No. The most threatening enemy is still alive.”
Reidrun raised his hand with a grave expression.
Following his gaze, Choi Hyun-seok …
Was struck with shock.
“What kind of monster is that!?”
Worsten Gesred wasn’t dead.
“UAAAH! For the Empire!!!”
The old veteran was forcibly opening the demon beast’s jaws with pure strength.
