Noble Pampering: Demon CEO's Relentless Entanglement-Chapter 824 - 820: Addicted to Her Poison
Absolutely won’t abandon?
She admitted, in the past four years, no matter what Irene Morton did for Asher Land, she couldn’t compare to it. But, allow her to be heartless, cold-blooded for once.
"Irene, no matter how much you’ve done for Asher Land in these four years, he definitely has no feelings for you."
"You!" Irene’s face flushed with anger, clearly provoked by Sophie Smith’s words.
Sophie Smith remained indifferent with a smile. Suddenly, she felt like the evil supporting character in a TV drama. This must be what it’s like to bully someone. Even though she genuinely didn’t want to say such harsh words to Irene, this time, she was truly determined not to let Asher Land leave her again.
If necessary, perhaps, she could even stoop so low.
Sophie Smith turned around and disappeared from Irene’s sight within moments.
...
After staying in hospital for two days, Asher Land decided to be discharged.
He didn’t tell Irene, nor did he tell Sophie. He didn’t want to be caught in a dilemma between these two women.
But who knew, before stepping out of the ward, he bumped into both women who came together.
"Brother Asher, why are you getting discharged today?" Irene stepped forward, without hesitation, and wrapped her arm around Asher’s.
Sophie stood a few steps away, didn’t retreat, but also didn’t react at all.
Asher slightly frowned, glanced at her, and then, as if avoiding suspicion, removed Irene’s hand.
"Who told you I’m getting discharged today?" He spoke coldly, his dark eyes sweeping to Robert Williams, who, upon receiving Asher’s gaze, quickly lowered his head.
"Who else? Of course, it’s Luke Land and his big mouth." Irene didn’t mind tarnishing Luke’s image in front of Asher.
Today at home, she overheard Luke Land talking on the phone with Eva Miller. Eva was seeking information about Asher for Sophie, but happened to overhear too.
Inwardly, Irene couldn’t help but curse, damn it, now Luke Land is completely siding with outsiders.
"Brother Asher, let’s go home." Irene relentlessly tried to wrap her arm around him again. This time, Asher didn’t even let her touch him.
"You go back first, I don’t plan to return there."
"No plans to return to our home?"
Irene used the term ’our home’, Sophie, although she didn’t want to mind, still felt overwhelmingly uneasy hearing it.
Her subtle change in expression didn’t escape his eyes. If the three kept standing here stiffly, Irene might say something even more outrageous later.
"Brother Asher, ..."
"I don’t want to repeat it. I’m not going there today. If you go back, help me take the luggage over."
Although speaking to Irene, his gaze wasn’t fixed on her.
"Then, where are you going?"
Going where?
He glanced at Sophie, didn’t say much, and directly approached her.
His action already explained everything.
Irene felt pent-up frustration in her heart, where to go? Where else could he go? Anyway, now Sophie is everything to him, isn’t it?
Even though not long ago, he told her he wanted to leave, not wanting to see her. But ultimately, he couldn’t shake her off, like he was addicted to her.
Sophie’s lips slightly curved upward, her clear eyes gazed at him with an indescribable sweet affection.
She knew it, Asher still loved her. Last time, he was merely emotionally fluctuating.
