As long as she felt no pressure, that’s good.

"Well, did the Lands do anything to you?"

Every time Nolan Davis spoke, Sophie Smith had to guess his meaning; she thought by "the Lands," he probably meant Nathan Land.

So, she didn’t need to mention anything about Irene Morton.

"They haven’t done anything to me." She said this with peace of mind.
