No Substitutes for the Bigshots' Dream Girl Anymore!-Chapter 1952: Hayes Edwards Extra (109)
Hayes Edwards came back again, stopping behind Grace Winter, and then she saw a strawberry-flavored ice cream appear in front of her. π§ππππΈπ¦π£πππ·ππ.π€π°π
It was freshly bought.
So he went to buy ice cream.
"Want some?" Hayes Edwards waved the ice cream with the hand holding it.
Grace Winter pursed her lips, turned to look at him, "Is it for me?"
Hayes Edwards raised an eyebrow and chuckled, "Yes, itβs for you."
Grace Winter happily took it, taking a bite from the strawberry side on the left, and another from the milk side on the right, enjoying it immensely.
Hayes Edwards leaned against the armrest of the seat, watching her eat happily, a smile appearing on his lips as well.
Oh well, they still had time, they could take things slowly.
In the evening, Hayes Edwards escorted Grace Winter to the hotel entrance. After some thought, he still felt uneasy and went upstairs with her.
"Iβll pick you up for breakfast tomorrow morning. Donβt wander around, lock the door at night, and call me if anything comes up."
Hayes Edwards never thought that one day he would be so incessantly nagging someone.
Grace Winter looked at him, nodding after each sentence, just like the most well-behaved and obedient student in school.
"Goodnight, Hayes Edwards."
Just after he went downstairs, Hayes Edwards received a message from Grace Winter.
He curved his lips into a smile and replied, "Sleep early, goodnight."
When he returned to the dorm, a few roommates who hadnβt gone home yet gathered around, asking about Grace Winter and mentioning that many people inquired about him today.
"Brother Edwards, youβre something else, hiding it for so long. Tell us, how did you βtrickβ such a beautiful fairy?"
Hayes Edwards put his phone away and searched for a change of clothes for himself, "Neighbor from next door."
The roommates: "???"
"Kindergarten classmate," Hayes Edwards turned around, "elementary school classmate, middle school classmate, childhood friend."
The dormitory was silent for a few minutes, followed by a burst of excitement.
Could such a story from a fairy tale happen in real life?
"Youβre showing off, you must be showing off!" A boy on the upper bunk said with a tearless expression, "Blame it on my childish arrogance. When a girl came to chat with me, all I did was argue about which monster was the strongest!"
They talked enthusiastically, reminiscing about their childhood.
Hayes Edwards silently smiled and took his clothes to the bathroom.
When he came out from the shower, the ones who were just talking about starting relationships were now sitting together playing games, inviting Hayes Edwards, "Brother Edwards, come join us and teach those idiots on the other team a lesson!"
Hayes Edwards didnβt join them, but went to the balcony and called Grace Winter, asking if she had gone to sleep.
After the conversation, he returned to find the dorm lights off, but the game was still ongoing.
The next day, Hayes Edwards woke up earlier than usual, while the other boys continued to sleep after staying up all night playing games.
Recently, the weather had been pleasantly cool, without the scorching sun or continuous rain. Hayes Edwards took Grace Winter to explore some slightly farther scenic spots.
On their way back, they passed by the billiard hall where they had gathered before.
Grace Winter looked at it for a moment and said, "Iβve been here before."
Hayes Edwards turned to look at her, "What?"
"The last time I came back, I bought the wrong ticket and took the wrong bus, and got lost here." Grace Winter explained the previous events.
After hearing it, Hayes Edwards finally remembered.
So he hadnβt mistaken someone or imagined it last time.
