Nine Revolutions Star Transformation-Chapter 73: Secret Room Star Point
Chu Linfeng seemed to understand, the trainees in the inferior class didn’t have Star Stones to go there, while the ordinary class trainees only received three Low Grade Star Stones a month; if they went, they’d have none left.
Despite the temptation of spending one day like a week, who would want to go? Only the students from the superior class could afford it.
With his own Star Stones, staying there for half a month was more than enough. After making up his mind, Chu Linfeng said, "Old man, I want to go to the Star Chamber, where is it located?"
"Kid, I knew you would go. The Star Chamber is in the room behind me. Here, this is the key to enter the Star Chamber, don’t lose it." Dean Xu handed Chu Linfeng a golden key engraved with "Celestial No. 1".
Chu Linfeng took the key without asking much and directly walked towards the room behind Dean Xu.
Watching the departing figure of Chu Linfeng, Dean Xu muttered to himself, "The Celestial No. 1 Star Chamber is enough for you to thoroughly enjoy yourself, hope you can endure it."
After entering the room, Chu Linfeng didn’t see any Star Chamber. After searching for a while, he discovered a Dark Gate.
Gently pushing it, the Dark Gate slowly opened, revealing a passage before him, a passage leading downward.
Chu Linfeng entered the passage without hesitation, stepping down the stairs one step at a time.
After about ten minutes of walking, he stopped because many Stone Gates appeared before him.
Each Stone Gate had words on it. Chu Linfeng looked at one that said, "Star Chamber No. 50". Below the words was a small hole, seemingly meant for inserting a key.
Chu Linfeng knew he had reached his destination and looked at another Stone Gate marked "Star Chamber No. 49".
He hurriedly walked further inside. The farther he went, the more shocked he was. He found the Stone Gates getting larger, and the distance between each Stone Gate growing farther.
After about half an hour, he finally arrived at the Stone Gate marked "Star Chamber No. 1." "Damn! Who built this Star Chamber to be this huge, and underground, it’s amazing."
Even in the underground passage, there were Glazed Beads the size of eggs embedded in the stone walls at intervals, clearly illuminating the surroundings.
Occasionally, noises emanated from certain chambers, and Chu Linfeng knew it was due to someone practicing in the Star Chambers.
He carefully examined the Stone Gate in front of him. Besides a keyhole, it also had some words inscribed, though the writing was somewhat blurred, indicating it had been carved long ago.
After a long look, Chu Linfeng realized that the inscriptions were instructions for entering the Star Chamber.
It said that upon entering the Star Chamber, three Star Stones must be placed in the specified slots to practice inside for a day.
When the time is up, an alarm will sound in the chamber. If no more Star Stones are inserted, one must leave within five minutes, or the chamber will instantly become a Gravity Chamber.
The consequences are severe. The longer one stays, the greater the pressure, ultimately leading to bones shattering, veins breaking, and life lost.
Chu Linfeng had a strange thought in his mind: why did Old Man Xu give him the key to this No. 1 Star Chamber? Could it be that its effects are better but also more dangerous?
"Forget it, let’s go in and see. There’s plenty of Star Stones anyway, let’s see what it’s like inside."
He then took out the key given by Dean Xu, inserted it into the keyhole, and with a twist, the Stone Gate slowly opened upwards.
After retrieving the key, Chu Linfeng entered the Star Chamber directly, and the Stone Gate fell back down as soon as he entered.
Turning around, he saw there was also a keyhole on the back, probably for opening when leaving. Chu Linfeng then began to scrutinize the Star Chamber.
The chamber was dimly lit, with visibility at most five meters. Chu Linfeng walked around slowly, discovering the chamber was surprisingly large, about the size of his family’s Martial Arts Training Ground.
"Is this really a chamber? It’s more like a small underground square; even a hundred people wouldn’t feel crowded."
Chu Linfeng suddenly stopped as an altar-like structure before him caught his eye.
"What is this used for?" he wondered. The altar was over a person tall, with a surface as smooth as a mirror, and five stairways from bottom to top.
Chu Linfeng climbed the stairs; there were three slots on top of the altar, each sized for an egg, arranged in an equilateral triangle.
In the center of the three slots stood a stand, with a pitch-black bead atop. Curiously, Chu Linfeng reached out and touched the bead.
Instantly, a powerful electric current shot through, numbing his arm. "Damn it! It actually attacks!"
"Hehe, Lin Feng, you better quickly place the Star Stones in those three slots, time’s running out, and you might end up dying here," Sword Spirit Yue’er’s voice echoed.
Chu Linfeng was quite startled, "How do you know this?"
"Didn’t you read what’s written on the altar? Honestly, I’m at a loss with you!" 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
Chu Linfeng stopped talking and took out three Star Stones from the Storage Belt given by Dean Xu, ready to place them.
First time seeing Star Stones, Chu Linfeng felt truly excited. Egg-sized, they emitted a faint light blue glow, making them feel irresistible.
"Hurry up! If time runs out, you’ll be in trouble!"
Chu Linfeng had intended to read the inscriptions on the altar, but Sword Spirit Yue’er’s tone suggested danger. Hastily, he placed the three Star Stones in the slots on the altar.
He then stepped down and quietly observed the changes in the altar.
After about a minute, faint blue light beams emitted simultaneously from the three slots into the orb on the stand.
Soon after, the pitch-black orb lit up, projecting a beam towards the chamber’s ceiling, its dazzling light as glaring as sunlight, making it hard for Chu Linfeng to look directly.
A few breaths later, a mystical transformation occurred on the ceiling, with countless points of light appearing like stars in the sky.
The most unique were seven brightest points, arranged to mimic the Big Dipper, gently emitting radiance to the ground.
Chu Linfeng was astonished—the light descending was Star Power, directly absorbable, far faster than absorbing at night.
He suddenly realized—this Star Chamber was for absorbing Star Power, revealing the Star Power within the Star Stones in a special way.
Three Star Stones could only maintain this state for one day, every minute so precious, prompting Chu Linfeng to immediately rush toward the beams of light resembling the Big Dipper.
The moment Chu Linfeng reached those star-like beams, his body became enveloped in Star Power, urging him to rapidly absorb this powerful force...
