"Sister Yue’Er, just who is Liu Yuankai signaling? I’m sure they must be very formidable," Chu Linfeng trusted Sword Spirit Yue’er deeply.

Yue’er’s tone carried a hint of concern, understanding that she and Chu Linfeng were tied together. If he died, she would perish too.

"Yuankai, no need for formalities. We get paid to solve problems, and in Liuyun City, there’s no task my brother and I can’t accomplish!" one elder said, his voice booming like a loud bell, making the followers’ eardrums throb painfully.

This was a direct intimidation tactic against the Chu family. At this moment, Chu Yuanba’s face fluctuated in expressions, not expecting the Liu Family to be able to hire these two old devils.

Lin Quan remained unfazed, a smile playing at his lips, "Do you think you can scare me? Bring it on if you have the guts!"

Malice flashed in Liu Yuankai’s eyes as he waved his hand, "Annihilate them all, leave none alive!"

Soon, the disciples of the Chu and Lin families clashed fiercely with the members of the Liu and Gongsun families. This was the largest skirmish Liuyun City had seen in decades, resonating with roars and cries.

Chu Yuanba directly engaged Liu Yuankai, while Chu Yuanming faced Chu Yuanqing. The Wang Brothers dealt with the Chu family’s elders and tributor, and the Lu Brothers faced off against Ox-headed and Horse-faced, quite evenly matched distribution.

In both numbers and strength, the Chu family was at a disadvantage. The Liu family’s tributor and elders had no opponents, targeting Zhao family’s disciples without hesitation.

Soon, more than half of the Chu and Lin families were dead or wounded. Unable to hold back any longer, Chu Linfeng retrieved the Cyan Frost Sword from his Storage Belt and charged in, a shadowy figure in tow.
