Chapter 149: Chapter 150: Searching for the Barrier Entrance

Chu Linfeng sat on the back of the Golden Demon Vulture, flying swiftly, as the scenery below flickered past, deepening his desire for strength once again.

Upon breaking through to the Celestial Martial Realm and comprehending the Power of Heaven and Earth, transforming it into Star Power, one could float in the air, flying in the sky, although not as fast as the Golden Demon Vulture, yet countless times faster than Shift Form and Shadow.

"Old Jin, after flying for half a day, have you found anything strange?" Chu Linfeng asked at this moment.

"This realm is quite vast, I haven’t discovered anything yet, but there is one place that’s a bit odd, which I think might be where we’re headed." The Golden Demon Vulture replied.

Chu Linfeng was a bit speechless. Initially, he said he didn’t know, now he seems to know. "How much further?" 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

"We should be there in another half-hour."

The wind roared in his ears, and soon after, the Golden Demon Vulture descended from the sky. Chu Linfeng jumped off its back and asked, "Are we there?"

"Just ahead, I haven’t been here in over a hundred years, it should be right." After speaking, the Golden Demon Vulture flashed with golden light and transformed into the form of a middle-aged man.

Chu Linfeng carefully examined the surrounding environment; apart from trees and mountains, there was nothing peculiar.

The Golden Demon Vulture walked ahead, soon arriving at the foot of a mountain and stopping, saying, "Boss, I think the entrance to the other realm is here, because I remember coming out from here back then."

After examining the mountain wall before him, Chu Linfeng asked, "You came out from here? A hundred years ago?"

"That’s right, here exactly, though a hundred years have passed, I can still sense the presence I left here. It’s just that the entrance’s exact location is not entirely certain," said the Golden Demon Vulture.

Chu Linfeng looked at him full of doubt; this was too incredible, sensing a presence from a hundred years ago. A divine being, oh, a divine bird, how is it possible. Yet, he had to accept this unbelievable fact.

"Old Jin, weren’t you always guarding the Thousand-Year-Old Fire Lotus in that Guardian Land? How could you say you came out from here a hundred years ago?" Chu Linfeng asked, feeling this guy had too many questions, many contradictions.

"There was no realm division here in the past. I’m not sure why a realm appeared here a hundred years ago, reducing the area we could move around. I think I was inside the realm you referred to involving elite class students at that time!" The Golden Demon Vulture said, somewhat helplessly, perhaps frustrated by the restriction on his bird form’s freedom.

Chu Linfeng seemed to realize something, initially this was a complete area, but a hundred years ago, it suddenly got divided into four realms, possibly done by experts from Celestial Dragon Academy or Sea Dragon Academy.

Considering how big such a barrier would need to be to divide this area into four realms was beyond Chu Linfeng’s imagination. One thing was certain, it must have been the work of experts, at least strong individuals at the Celestial Martial Realm level, potentially even those at the Divine Martial Realm.

"How did you come out from there?" This was a critical question Chu Linfeng needed to know; otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to enter. Although Sword Spirit Yue’er mentioned that breaking the barrier would allow entry, the question was where to attack and how to dismantle it.

"It happened inadvertently during a fight with the Poison-Horned Demon Flood Dragon and the Flying Demon Tiger. We were fighting fiercely, the mountains shattered, and the earth cracked, resulting in severe injuries. Unknowingly, we ended up here, and the Poison-Horned Demon Flood Dragon appeared alongside," said the Golden Demon Vulture, a hint of surprise flashing across his face.

Chu Linfeng understood the Poison-Horned Demon Flood Dragon as that giant serpent. "And you say the Flying Demon Tiger is in there, and where is the Purple Demon Thunder Fox?"

"Also in there, but Old Zi rarely comes out. Even if she does, you won’t recognize her as the Purple Demon Thunder Fox."

"I believe that. If you didn’t reveal your true form, I wouldn’t know you as an avian Spirit Beast," Chu Linfeng said.

"Old Zi’s most formidable aspect is Illusion Art; she can transform into anyone’s appearance, including you. It doesn’t affect us Magical Beasts as she can’t hide her scent, but for you humans, it’s entirely indiscernible," the Golden Demon Vulture explained.

Chu Linfeng felt a jolt of surprise, hoping not to encounter such peculiarities; it would surely be troublesome.

He walked back and forth several times before the mountain wall, asking, "How do we get through? Do we fight as well? One slap from you might crush me."

"How could I ever fight you, boss? Let me see if I can directly attack and open this barrier," the Golden Demon Vulture said.

At that moment, Sword Spirit Yue’er’s voice echoed in Chu Linfeng’s mind: "Lin Feng, the barrier entrance isn’t in this position, you need to proceed a little over ten meters ahead, and you’ll be able to sense slight energy fluctuations through careful observation.

Attacking the fluctuating spot could break the barrier; even if this old bird flattens the mountain, it won’t help."

Understanding the prowess of the Sword Spirit, Chu Linfeng hastily told the Golden Demon Vulture, "Old Jin, hold on with the attack; I feel the spot you’re targeting might not be correct, perhaps it’s a bit further ahead."

"Why do you say that?" The Golden Demon Vulture asked, startled.

Naturally, Chu Linfeng wouldn’t reveal it was Sword Spirit Yue’er who informed him. "It’s Xiaoying who mentioned it; he seems to have noticed a clue." He could only use Xiaoying to deceive the Golden Demon Vulture, since Spirit Beasts had some unknown abilities, as a Magical Beast, he clearly understood this.

"Oh, that’s the case. Xiaoying’s judgment must be correct." said the Golden Demon Vulture immediately, then proceeded forward.

"Master, I don’t have such an ability, you’re too cunning!" Xiaoying’s voice appeared in Chu Linfeng’s mind.

"Haha, just trying to fool this old bird for now; he’ll surely believe it," Chu Linfeng said, also moving to the spot Sword Spirit mentioned to begin observing with his Divine Sense.

After searching for quite some time and not discovering anything, Chu Linfeng felt a bit disheartened, but Sword Spirit’s words left him with no choice but to persist, though unsure of what to do.

"Observe with your heart, just as when you comprehend Dual Heart Use, employ the Power of the Heart," Sword Spirit Yue’er spoke.

Without speaking, Chu Linfeng, and neither did the Golden Demon Vulture. He watched Chu Linfeng close his eyes as if contemplating something, unwilling to disturb him, believing Chu Linfeng was communicating with the Blood Shadow Frenzied Lion.

Slowly, Chu Linfeng emptied his mind of distractions, focusing on sensing the changes around him. At first, he only heard the wind, the murmurs of insects in the grass, and the sound of his heartbeat.

Gradually, he noticed these sounds fading away, even the beat of his heart vanished, making him feel as if his soul was floating away from his body, drifting in the air.

The sensation was unlike anything he had experienced before, devoid of distractions, emotions, fully merging into the air around him.

It was then that Chu Linfeng seemed to sense something, faint fluctuations arriving...
