Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven-Chapter 402: Three-Planet Alliance
"Mom... Isn’t that Lord Edward Richard I? The founder of our planet?" A man who looked to be in his forties was tending to his half-disabled mother on the Crimson Core Planet. She had been paralyzed by corruption energy back when she was a powerful soldier for the Crimson Core Planet’s Federation, and she had never recovered from it.
Or more accurately, nobody cared enough to spend the expensive medicine required to cleanse the potent corruption energy from her legs.
The son stared at the sky alongside his old mother, a completely dumbfounded look on both of their faces.
Up in the crimson sky, a massive projection of the legendary founder was being broadcast to the entire world. But the grand and majestic Lord Edward Richard I was not giving a noble speech of leadership. He had his knees deeply bent and his arms dangling near his ankles. He was violently scratching his royal armpits with both hands. His regal face was completely scrunched up as he puffed out his cheeks and pushed out his bottom lip.
"Ooh ooh! Aah aah aah!" The founder’s voice boomed through the global planetary speakers. The realistic monkey noises literally shook the very foundations of the tall Federation buildings.
He started hopping and bouncing from side to side in the clouds like a completely deranged ape.
Down on the streets of the Crimson Core Planet, the normally bustling crowds had completely frozen in pure shock. A merchant dropped his heavy crates of expensive medicine, shattering the rare glass vials all over the dirty metal pavement. Nobody even bothered to look at the wasted goods. A group of elite soldiers stood in the main town square with their weapons lowered and their jaws hanging wide open. One veteran soldier rubbed his eyes in absolute disbelief, genuinely wondering if the ambient corruption energy was finally driving him insane.
"Is he... peeling an invisible banana?" the old mother whispered from her wheelchair.
Up in the sky, Lord Edward Richard I mimed peeling a fruit, shoved the invisible banana into his mouth, and made obnoxious chewing noises while furiously beating his chest like a wild silverback gorilla. The deafening thumps of his chest pounding echoed across the entire planet.
In the narrow alleys, children started crying out of sheer confusion. Proud planetary politicians fell to their knees in the streets in utter despair as the sacred image of their glorious creator was ruined forever right before their very eyes.
"Yes, Mom," the forty-year-old son said with a completely blank expression. "The founder is a monkey now."
"Isn’t this a bit too effective?" Grey, who was hovering in the air not too far from the Founding Ancestor, wore a completely dumbfounded look on his face.
He had simply manipulated the probability of the Ancestor suddenly losing control of his sense of self and activating his primal instincts as a monkey. Not only did it barely expend any energy, but the resulting effects were absolutely terrifying.
It was to the point that Grey himself thought the Ancestor must have had some sort of deep-seated humiliation kink to start doing this so naturally out of nowhere.
"Please. Show mercy, Expert Grey," Edward Richard III came forward and pleaded.
He was terrified.
His great ancestor’s mind was completely altered, and he had been reduced to a literal monkey by this teenager!
Mind you, the Ancestor was a terrifyingly powerful being at the 3rd Level of the Origin Manifestation Realm. And now he was reduced to such a pathetic state.
Grey glanced coldly at Edward Richard III.
"I will let him go. But not before completely abolishing his cultivation."
Grey’s hands stirred as a terrifying Domain Force erupted from him.
This was no ordinary domain force. It was a domain force perfectly fused with Nexus Energy.
It was the Nexus Domain.
The pure essence of the Nexus made it absolutely impossible to touch. Even better, standard Origin Force would actively shrink away in fear under its overwhelming emergence.
Boom!
The Origin Core within the Ancestor directly crumbled into dust. His centuries of cultivation were abolished in an instant, and Grey casually placed a Tribulation Mark on his soul.
Now, he was no longer a threat.
There was naturally a reason why he did not outright kill the man.
Edward had mentioned that the Daoye Palace had asked him to capture the residents of the Blue Star once they emerged from the sealed planet. That meant the Daoye Palace had foreseen the reemergence of the Blue Star and was patiently waiting for the exact right moment to strike.
This meant the Daoye Palace was still operating in this galaxy. They had not left!
But on the other hand, it made perfect sense. There was a massive turbulence completely barricading the galaxy.
Even Eterna got shredded down to fragments trying to cross it. What were a bunch of nobodies working under Tian Yuan going to do?
For now, he would focus on learning more about the current situation of the galaxy. Eterna was standing quietly on the side, having already connected to the local Protocol Eterna network. She was slowly taking total control over the planetary systems.
Just then, several powerful auras descended rapidly from the sky.
They were all at the 3rd Level of the Origin Manifestation Realm.
One was an Immortal cultivator, and the other was a Martial artist.
"What happened here?" The Immortal expert spoke. His body was cloaked in starlight as he spoke in a dignified, booming voice.
"You... Edward, who did this to you?" Just as quickly, he noticed the crippled Ancestor groveling on the floor.
However, before he could speak another word, a suffocating pressure collapsed directly onto his powers and the other expert.
They instantly lost their ability to fly and crashed heavily into the ground.
Cold sweat poured down the experts’ foreheads as they stared up at the young man who had casually swatted them out of the sky.
"Are you with the Daoye Palace too?" Grey glanced down at them. Within seconds, he knew exactly who they were.
They were the other two peak leaders of the Three-Planet Alliance forged with the Crimson Core Planet. The supreme rulers and ancestors of the Velmera Planet and the Scion Planet.
One was an Immortal-focused planet, and the other was a Martial-focused planet.
"This... expert, please forgive us. We were simply curious as to who had entered our Three-Planet Alliance territory," the Immortal expert from the Velmera Planet spoke with trembling lips.
"That is exactly right. Please, feel completely free to do whatever you want with him."
