Chapter 376: Who exactly are you?

"How interesting." Just then, the 5th Rank being spoke from high above. "Who exactly are you? You just arrived, and you immediately became a public enemy to your own people."

"I am just a passerby," Grey replied with a carefree smile, stepping out from behind his protectors.

"What about you? Are you also a passerby?" Grey completely ignored the hostility of the native experts and directed his gaze straight at the 5th Rank invader.

"Passerby?" The 5th Rank being grinned dangerously. "You could say that. Except that whenever I decide to pass by, I also get the overwhelming urge to conquer a planet."

"Relatable. Whenever I pass by a place, I get the urge to devour a planet." Grey smiled widely at the expert, his eyes flashing with a terrifying, hidden light.

Before anyone could process that bold statement, Grey continued speaking.

"I always wondered where the Bloodline Evolutionary Path came from. It is ranked fourth on the evolutionary rank list here on the Blue Star, and now it all makes perfect sense."

Grey tilted his head, his voice echoing across the silent battlefield. "It comes from Alpha-B2. Also known as the Crimson Core Planet."

The instant he uttered those words, everyone was stunned. The arrogant expressions on the experts from the Crimson Core Planet completely shattered, replaced by shock and deep suspicion.

"Who are you?" The 5th Rank being asked, his tone now dripping with an icy chill.

"Who am I? I am just a passerby. Edward Richard the Third," Grey chuckled softly, casually dropping the invader’s true name.

However, just as those words left his lips, space violently fluctuated.

While everyone’s attention was caught in the heavy tension between Grey and Edward, Luca’s figure flickered. He had snapped. This man was the reason his empire was ruined, and Luca decided to use this exact opportunity to eliminate him once and for all.

Boom!

Luca’s domain force erupted. He shot directly toward Grey’s head, aiming to shatter his soul. The legendary Unending Spear of Heaven materialized in his hands, radiating lethal energy.

All of this happened in a fraction of a microsecond. Most people present had not even realized what was happening yet.

The Grand Polarity Master, Lia, and Bai Yue turned deathly pale.

"Watch out!" Lia’s voice tore through the air as Luca’s spear tip was already an inch away from Grey’s neck.

However, before the lethal attack could even land, a bizarre static noise erupted in Luca’s ears. The fabric of reality glitched. In the next horrifying moment, Luca realized his spear had struck nothing but empty air. His attack had completely missed.

The expressions of every single expert changed drastically.

Luca missed? A peak 4th Ranker missed a stationary target?

Grey had not even moved a single muscle.

But there was no time to process the impossible physics of the situation. Lia, Bai Yue, and the Grand Polarity Master immediately prepared to counterattack, unleashing their own domains to save Grey.

However, before their energy could fully manifest, they witnessed a sight that froze the blood in their veins.

Grey looked at Luca with absolute, deadpan indifference. He slowly raised his hand and tapped Luca lightly on the shoulder.

Boom!

The instant Grey’s finger made contact, an apocalyptic force transferred into Luca’s body. Luca was shot downward like a meteor. He smashed into the earth with such catastrophic kinetic energy that the mountains below instantly pulverized into dust. The nearby rivers flash-boiled and dried up in a millisecond, leaving behind a crater the size of a small country.

"W-What?" The native 4th Rank experts widened their eyes in absolute horror. One by one, their jaws dropped.

Just as quickly, the 5th Rank being spoke, his voice losing its previous arrogance. "I knew it. You are no ordinary being."

"To be able to know my name despite being a filthy native of the Blue Star..." Edward’s aura erupted in full motion.

The entire planet began to shake violently. The tectonic plates groaned in agony. The foreign 4th Rankers and the native experts surrounding Grey immediately became pale as a suffocating, god-like oppressiveness crushed the air out of their lungs.

Seeing this desperate display of power, Grey merely chuckled.

"Didn’t I tell you? If you attack a planet so blatantly, then someone will do the exact same thing to your planet."

Grey’s eyes flickered. His Saint Halo and his Lesser Heaven Halo manifested simultaneously behind his head, radiating a blinding, divine light.

He slowly turned his back on the terrifying 5th Rank aura and looked at Lia, Bai Yue, and the Grand Polarity Master.

"You guys stay put," Grey said with a warm, casual smile, completely unaffected by the gravity crushing the world around them.

"I appreciate you stepping up to protect me."

Grey then slowly turned his head back to look at Edward. His smile vanished, replaced by the cold, indifferent gaze of a true predator.

"But it is not necessary."

As his words fell, a terrifying aura erupted from his body. It was an ancient, abyssal presence that felt like it could swallow the entirety of the Blue Star in a single bite.

Within a fraction of a second, the 5th Rank expert’s world-shaking aura was completely neutralized, swallowed up like a drop of water in an ocean. A magnificent silver-purple brilliance expanded from Grey, enveloping the entirety of the Blue Star and locking down the space.

Grey looked down at the invading army.

"Kneel."

The instant that single word left Grey’s lips, the weight of a shattered universe came crashing down on the invaders.

The twenty foreign 4th Rank experts behind Edward did not even have the chance to scream. They were immediately slammed out of the sky, falling to their knees in mid-air. The sheer pressure forced their heads to bow deeply toward Grey, their spines cracking under the strain.

"Y-You? This much pressure... impossible!" Edward’s expression and voice twisted into pure, unadulterated disbelief. He gritted his teeth, his muscles bulging as he tried to resist the cosmic weight pressing down on his shoulders.

Boom!

In the next moment, his resistance shattered. Edward could not take it anymore. The mighty 5th Rank invader was violently forced down, crashing directly onto his knees before Grey.

"Aren’t you just a little 5th Ranker at the 1st Level?" Grey asked with a smile as he casually strode through the air toward the kneeling Edward.
