Afterward, Grey observed the changes that had occurred within the Golden Integration Nexus Realm.

He realized that there was a new spatial power present. It was intimately connected to both the Pseudo-Level and the Fourth Level. Observing closely, he understood the logic behind the Dao’s gift.

"Once one forms the three Golden Aspects, they gain an elevated sense to perceive the Law of Space."

"This is exactly what I was aiming for." Grey smiled.

It allowed one to form a heightened sense for the Law of Space early on and then utilize their own talent to complete the Space Transformation.

The Space Transformation was crucial. It allowed one to exist in outer space without needing to breathe and also permitted the formation of small spatial dimensions around the user. These powers were not something he merely made up; they came directly from the Dao of Space itself.

"I am literally being spoon-fed right now." Grey’s lips twitched in speechlessness.

But with this, everything fell right into place.

Yin-Yang formed the balance.

The Three Elements formed the material substance through the Three Phase Convergence.

Space provided the container. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

And at the Fifth Level came the Domain Transformation!

The balance of Yin-Yang, the substance of the Three Elements, and the container of Space finally came together with the laws one had comprehended to create an absolute boundary. By igniting the soul along with the three Golden Aspects, one could forge their own reality.

The Domain.

The absolute world that you control.

He would set the range of the Domain to match that of the user’s mind perception. The projected Domain could be anything, depending entirely on one’s own comprehension and will. That was the freedom the Domain Transformation offered.

In Grey’s case, it could be a realm of Heavenly Tribulation or a place that embodied absolute perfection.

The Great Nexus.

He was excited to see exactly what Domain he would gain enlightenment on while taking that step.

With that established, there was only one more step to take.

The Unending Transformation.

This was the final level of the Golden Integration Nexus Realm.

This realm began with the complete fusion of the three Golden Aspects and ended with reaching the Nexus Integration. It was the most optimal state of existence.

One fused the Domain power and the three aspects together to become truly unending.

It boasted a lifespan of ten thousand years once one took that step. Furthermore, while reaching this stage, one would also form a natural Furnace Core within the Golden Tao Bone.

As he had theorized before, it had great effects on restoring essence lost during regeneration. If Grey were reduced to nothing but a drop of blood, he could regenerate from that solitary drop after reaching the Unending Transformation level. Without the Furnace Core, it would take him months to restore the lost essence. But with the Core, that time would be hastened to a week or two.

And with that, the Golden Integration Nexus Realm was complete.

"Your path has just become significantly more broken than before." The Fragment couldn’t help but express its emotion.

At this rate, Grey would get struck by lightning just for existing. His path was simply too defiant of the natural order.

"It is not over yet," Grey replied with a calm smile.

The symbol of the Nexus churned and a new, fourth path formed in the interface.

The Tribulation Realm.

The Tribulation was the ultimate test and gathering of essence for the final Fifth Rank. Grey diversified it into six levels as well.

1. Foundation Tribulation: The first tribulation tests the cultivator’s core stability, shaking their foundation and attempting to shatter their cultivation base. If they survive, their energy and body becomes more stable and resilient.

2. Energy Tribulation: The energy inside the Dantian goes berserk, attempting to collapse or explode. The cultivator must tame their own power, refining it into an absolute force that no longer requires external stabilization.

3. Willpower Tribulation: A mental trial where illusions, past regrets, and psychological weaknesses manifest. Failing means permanent madness or deviation. Success grants an unshakable will, allowing them to ignore illusions, fear, or mental attacks.

4. Bloodline Tribulation: The evolver’s ancestry or bloodline awakens, forcing them to face ancient and often dormant traits, curses, or powers from their lineage. Surviving this tribulation grants them access to the full potential of their bloodline, unlocking unique abilities or improving their control over inherited powers.

5. Elemental Tribulation: The cultivator must contend with the elemental forces of the world, resisting space compression, lightning strikes, and causality destruction. Passing this trial grants the force to transcend to Law. If they have not reached the level of Law, they will. If they have, the progress is enhanced, allowing their techniques to influence reality itself.

6. Karmic Tribulation: All past karma manifests as divine retribution. Every sin, every grudge, and every unfinished cause seeks balance. If they survive, their karma is cleansed, granting them a completely new life.

With each successful tribulation passage, a Tribulation Mark would form in one’s Domain, which would eventually give birth to true transcendence.

The Fifth Realm.

The First Transcendence, where one is no longer a mortal.

The Tribulation Realm was actually related to Buddhism. He had encountered the records of it within a Buddhist-Martial World mix, and it quite honestly shocked him.

"That world was interesting. There was actually a true Transcended Fifth Ranker there, and it took me a lot of effort to devour that world."

"And the only reason I still exist is because the Buddhist Monk in that world was reaching naturally set limits. That world was limiting his potential."

"This is the correct way to reach the Fifth Rank." Grey’s eyes were heated.

Although he did not know how to take that final step yet, the Tribulation Realm alone boasted immense power. He was confident that he would find the path to the Fifth Realm soon.

Afterward, Grey made some final, crucial adjustments.

He paused just before initializing the breakthrough, his eyes narrowing as he gazed at the magnificent structure of the cultivation system he had built. It was too perfect. If released as is, it would disrupt the balance of the entire universe—or rather, it would create too many "perfect gods."

He needed a hierarchy.

"There can only be one true perfection in the world, after all."

With a thought, he split the scripture into two distinct branches.

He, as the Creator, naturally enjoyed the full benefit. The Nexus Path was the root, the origin, and the absolute authority. It utilized the pure, perfect essence of Nexus Energy, granting him direct access to the Daos he had "negotiated" with and allowing for the formation of the Perfect Golden Aspects.

The Aether Path, however, was for his followers.

It would receive exactly half of the benefits.

"Those that follow the Aether Path will be infinitely closer to perfection than any other path in existence," Grey mused, his voice echoing in the inner space. "But they will never reach the True Nexus."

It was a benevolent cruelty. He was giving them a ladder to the heavens, but he was removing the final rung.

But once again, there can only be one perfection in this world and he, Grey Lockhart will be one to reach that state.

"And with this, the four Chapters of the Nexus Path are complete." A soft smile bloomed on Grey’s face.

"It is finally time. I was getting tired of sitting around doing nothing. We should visit the Abyss after that. There is a portal close to the city," the Fragment said while revolving around Grey, equally excited.

"Of course."

Grey smiled as he descended down to the inner space.
