In a dark expanse filled with starry light, a man and what appeared to be a fireball strolled around casually. The man possessed an extremely handsome face, framed by long black hair with purple highlights. His eyes were unique, bearing several rings around the irises with a Q-shaped symbol centered within them.

He wore a simple white robe. As he walked, his long hair fluttered rhythmically, despite there being no wind in this dark expanse.

"Hey, Lesser Heaven," the man asked. "What do you think the answer to true transcendence is?"

"Isn’t that question simple, Grey?" the fireball asked back. "True transcendence comes from breaking the genetic limits and becoming a higher being."

"I do that by devouring planes and dimensions," the remaining consciousness of the Lesser Heaven spoke.

"Correct," Grey replied with a smile. "True transcendence comes from breaking the genetic limits."

"The evolutionary paths exist as a way for one to break that said limit of genetics. For example, even a little worm can become a world-ending being as long as it can sense the genetic limits and break that barrier."

"You do that by devouring, while the majority of the people of the main world do it through the process of evolution. For that process to work, something known as an ’Evolutionary Path’ is required."

"They serve a single purpose: to constantly push one forward to the point they can see the genetic limiter deep within their soul or DNA. I said ’soul or DNA’ because I still don’t know where exactly this genetic limiter resides."

"I didn’t ask," Lesser Heaven replied in the same breath.

Grey stared at the fireball with a deadpan expression before sweeping his hands forward. The Lesser Heaven immediately shot toward the other side of the expanse.

"Hey, I was joking!" Lesser Heaven’s voice resounded from the distance.

"Anyways, where was I? Right, genetic limits. Each genetic limit allows one to cross the barrier of what they were originally capable of achieving."

"For an immortal cultivator, if they could pick up a rock at the 1st Rank, then when they break their second genetic limit, everything changes. They could in theory pick up a mountain at the late stage, or perhaps an entire mega scraper with one casual wave of their hands."

"Genetic limits being broken introduces qualitative leaps in both power and your life. A First Ranker, the Tempering Realm, could live for 200 years if their cellular vitality is good."

"For example, when I first did an assessment, I had an overall cellular vitality of Ex-Rank. This allowed me to live 200 years without cellular decay."

"For those at the Second Rank, the Transformation Realm, they can live for 500 years. For me, maybe it could be as far as 600 or 700 years since I hold a perfect body."

"For the Third Rank, the Core Formation Realm, they can live for 1,000 years. As for the Fourth Rank, the Domain Manifestation Realm, I don’t know much. I might have to ask Bai Yue."

"But what I was trying to say is, with each genetic limiter broken, a qualitative change was bound to happen. However, to break the genetic limiter, one doesn’t necessarily need to follow the pattern of evolution as found in Blue Star."

"Meaning one doesn’t necessarily need to transform themselves into a new race to see the third genetic barrier."

"Exactly." Grey nodded. "Looks like you can be taught after all."

"But you know what’s funny? If one doesn’t reshape their body using Law in the Transformation Realm, it will severely affect their performance in the 3rd Rank."

"But why?" Lesser Heaven asked, clearly confused.

"Hm." Grey appeared deep in thought. "If I’m not wrong, it’s because of the Law Engravings. The Transformation Realm is flawed."

"I like the premise of transforming into a different race and I don’t plan on removing it either, since it isn’t what is stopping the transformation realm. But what actually is stopping the potential is the Law Transformation."

"Law Transformation?"

"Yep." Grey clapped his hands, his unnatural, alien-like eyes flickering. A projection of a body appeared in the air.

"What Law Transformation essentially does is make your attacks more attuned to the laws."

The projection moved, and several thunder attacks erupted out from the person’s fists as he punched rapidly.

"At the same time, it allows one to attune to the laws of the world. This makes stepping on the air possible, and also allows for telepathy. It’s a special perk of Law Transformation."

"Meaning, it does have its good sides. However, that’s the only thing."

"After the Law Transformation stage comes the Law Reshaping. One reshapes their body along with the genetic markings within, breaking apart and forming new information."

"The Law Reshaping, on the other hand, does absolutely nothing. It recreates your body into the very Law you have comprehended."

"Which in essence allows one to transform their body into the pure element or Law they have comprehended. For the Espers that utilize the Law of Control, they will be converted into particles."

"Particles of control. They could disperse this and build an army of mind-manipulated evolvers. Of course, they could still reform their body as the control particles would continuously regenerate."

"Meaning even if spent, new ones will form as long as the Law of Control existed. Of course, this is under the case that all parts of their body underwent Law Reshaping and formed a complete resonance with the body and Law."

"For my case, I awakened the ability of Heavenly Tribulation Sparks."

Grey opened his palm and purple lightning danced around it.

"This resonance skill allows me to plant Tribulation Sparks on someone and detonate it anytime I want. Most importantly, it could also be utilized for me to put someone in order."

"If I set a specific condition and the person doesn’t follow it, they will get hit by the Heavenly Tribulation. And most importantly, this spark can grow stronger overtime and I can also sense it’s location."

"Speaking of Laws, Your Law is now at the Major Comprehension isn’t it?" Lesser Heaven inquired.

"Yep." Grey nodded.

"What did you awaken from that?"

"It’s nothing much. My tribulation power is now infinitely stronger. The greater the evil I’m facing, the more terrifying the absolute authority of the Heaven becomes."

"And I also obtained the ability to create shapes out of the Heavenly Tribulation."

Grey demonstrated by forming an armor of tribulation power. The tribulation power could negate most of the Law powers considering the scale of the Law. It was superior to most, hence it could act as a good shield.

"Anyways, we have strayed from the subject. Where was I? You were talking about why Law Transformation makes the Transformation Realm flawed."

"Right, so..."
