Both Jasmine and Tian Yuan turned their heads toward the source of the voice. It was none other than Lia and Little Hong.

"Actually, make that a hundred," Lia said indifferently.

"It’s you." Jasmine was slightly surprised. She knew Lia and Little Hong; they had appeared on the news several times.

"Thank you for taking care of Grey until now," Lia said, turning to Jasmine. She saw how Jasmine had stepped in front of Grey to protect him, and she was grateful.

"It’s nothing. I owe Chief Grey. He saved me countless times while fighting with that shameless beast over there," Jasmine spoke with a chuckle, pointing at Tian Yuan.

"The Chaos Seal. How surprising. So someone actually managed to awaken the Axe’s consciousness, huh?" Tian Yuan looked at Little Hong with interest.

"Are you with the imposter of my brother?" Little Hong frowned slightly and asked.

"Imposter?" Tian Yuan chuckled. "The real imposter in the current reality is your own brother, Hong. I will make it clear to you. The Dharma Ending Age is over, and a new Heavenly Way Age has begun. In this world, there is no place for the Old Heaven, and I will make sure that I eliminate all of his spawns."

Then, he observed Lia more intently before speaking. "And besides that, to think I would encounter a God in this place, of all places. Usually, Gods are born in the higher planes, not here in the mortal planes."

Tian Yuan paused, a flicker of interest in his eyes. He cupped his hands together in a sign of respect. "Why is a legendary existence such as yourself concerning yourself with mortal matters?"

Seeing this, both Jasmine and Lia were pleasantly surprised. Wasn’t he an enemy? Why was he showing respect?

"Why wouldn’t I concern myself with it?" Lia asked. "Grey is someone dear to me, and I won’t let anyone harm him in any way." Her voice turned cold. "And if they do, I will make sure that they pay a price worse than death. This includes that Lesser Heaven over there."

Hearing this, Tian Yuan sneered. The respect vanished instantly.

"The Gods are existences that exist beyond all. They are legendary beings that signify true transcendence. They do not concern themselves with worldly matters. They are indifferent to the passage of time, indifferent to anything beneath them. They see endless reality as nothing but a dream while they slumber. You, who concern yourself with mortal matters, do not have the dignity of a God," Tian Yuan added with a scornful look. "And since that is the case, I don’t need to hesitate either."

Tian Yuan shot forward. Seeing this, Lia immediately unleashed the army of Infernals.

Tian Yuan merely smiled. "From the looks of it, you only awakened recently. If I had met you a year after your awakening, I probably wouldn’t be able to hold a candle to you. But now?"

As he finished his words, he crossed forward and shot directly through the Infernals. The monsters that charged at him were directly cut into several pieces as they fell to the ground. The following moment, he slapped Lia right across her shoulder.
