"So you think you're brave?" Hyuga Chinano, who had been quietly slurping ramen, turned around and stared at Choji. This guy looked like competition.

"Damn right I'm brave." Choji patted his belly with a grin. Everyone from the Akimichi clan could put food away like champs—they feared no one at the dinner table.

"I'd love to see that." Chinano elegantly wiped her mouth after draining her ramen bowl.

Beside her, Hinata and Hanabi set their bowls down and gave Choji a fixed stare.

In that moment, Choji felt like he'd just awakened three wild beasts. He sighed—there was no turning back now.

Not far from the chaos, Aburame Hatsuizumi chuckled as if she'd found another unlucky soul. She placed her tiny three-tailed summon beside Shino, clearly wanting him to study it.

Meanwhile, the three princesses were kicking back like they were on vacation. They weren't about to lift a finger. Especially Princess Ichikishima—she was literally floating belly-up in the air.

"I'm so full... I could die happy right now..."

Then a mischievous girl yanked her out of the sky.

Zixu stood at the city's edge. His Homurakumo Eribētā (Flame Cloud Elevator) had already sent the other village ninjas down. The sky darkened into deep blue, stars twinkling like embers. The lights of the city glowed, reflected in the sky dome.

Aburame Hatsuizumi's moonworms flew out, their holy light syncing with the moonlight, decorating the cityscape like a dream.

"Damn it. What kind of crap defense is this?" A growled. He couldn't help comparing it to Zixu's defenses and getting pissed.

"The Akatsuki's on the move again. There's still the One-Tail, Four-Tail, Six-Tail, Eight-Tail, and Nine-Tail out there. Good luck to those guys." A's fists clenched. Losing the Two-Tails again just rubbed him the wrong way.

Pain's group worked fast—they were already heading to collect the remaining beasts.

In a quiet meadow, a man with brown bangs covering his left eye sat blowing bubbles. His blue haori swayed as he exhaled. Next to him, a woman with long, curly brown hair and green skin watched with a gentle smile.

"Utakata. It's time," he said suddenly, sensing danger.

"Why?" Utakata tilted his head in confusion.

Before he could react, he was enclosed in one of his giant bubbles. His body floated inside it and drifted away.

He shouted something, but he didn't look back. He turned and walked into the woods.

There, six cold figures waited.

Tendo Pain didn't say a word. He raised one hand, and a massive suction force pulled Utakata toward him.

Sensing the threat, Utakata didn't hold back. He entered full Bijū Mōdo (Tailed Beast Mode). Six sleek tails erupted from his back. He slammed his paws into the ground and shot toward the forest.

"Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique)!" shouted the long-haired Pain. White smoke exploded as towering summons appeared—chameleon, rhino, ox, even a monstrous archaeopteryx—all implanted with black chakra rods and glowing Rinnegan eyes.

The monsters blocked every path, forcing Utakata to face all Six Paths of Pain.

Utakata formed a massive Bijūdama (Tailed Beast Ball) in his mouth. It crackled with raw chakra, a signature technique of the Jinchūriki.

But the enemy didn't move.

A short, fat Path raised his hands—and the sphere vanished into his body, absorbed.

Tendo Pain stepped forward again.

"Feel the pain..."
