"Lord Hokage, is something wrong?"

The two unlucky men saw the heavy expression on Hiruzen Sarutobi’s face and couldn’t help asking.

They even glanced at each other, thinking they hadn’t done anything wrong.

Did they mess up somehow?

The thought flashed through both their minds for just a moment before they shook their heads. Ever since their last mistake, they had been extremely careful, terrified of causing trouble again.

"Get out. Get out of my sight!"

Hiruzen finally roared. These two idiots could never do anything right, only make trouble. He couldn’t stand looking at them anymore, afraid he wouldn’t be able to stop himself from killing them on the spot.

As he spoke, he couldn’t help but think about how he wanted to strangle those two idiots.

"Oh?" Danzo furrowed his brow but remained calm. "What mission? Who accepted it?"

The work he was doing had to stay secret. If it were discovered, it would be a serious problem, especially since the incident originated from Hiruzen’s side.

"It’s like this." Hiruzen repeated what the two fools had done, and the more he spoke, the angrier he became.

"Oh? You mean Uchiha Genya and Kurenai accepted this mission?" Danzo raised his eyebrows, murmuring.

"Yes," Hiruzen nodded.

"Overall, they’re useless. Hyuga Hinata and Aburame Shino are just average Genin ninjas, only Kurenai is a bit troublesome." Danzo began analyzing the situation, his tone laced with calculation.

"Don’t worry," Hiruzen nodded. "I’ll assign Kurenai to handle other tasks. During the Chunin Exams, she won’t be involved with Genya and the others."

"If that’s the case, it’s easy to deal with!" Danzo nodded, his tone slightly relieved. "We just need to keep these three in check."

Looking at their photos, Danzo suddenly licked his lips. "Byakugan... I really want to study it."

"Danzo, things are already tense enough. Don’t cause any more trouble!" Hiruzen glared at him, his voice warning.

The Hyuga clan had just returned to calmness. Any sudden incident could provoke an extreme reaction from them.

He didn’t want chaos at this time.

"I know, I’ll control it. For now, I only need members of the Senju clan!" Danzo nodded, a playful tone in his voice.

He was just joking. His main interest was still the Sharingan. After the Chunin Exams, once the Uchiha clan was wiped out, he would study the Sharingan.

"There’s more..." Hiruzen continued. "Inform Kurenai. She is one of the examiners for the upcoming Chunin exams. Have her coordinate with the other instructors for the exam setup and training."

"Yes, sir!" Although Eisuke didn’t understand why Kurenai had to be part of the examiner team, he knew better than to question the Hokage’s orders.

After giving his instructions, Hiruzen stepped back, letting Eisuke leave.

Nearby, on a cliff close to the Hokage Rock, Kurenai stood facing Kakashi. A gentle breeze swept past them, making the air between them feel tense.

"Why did you call me here?" Kakashi scratched his head. Seeing Kurenai so serious, he felt a little uneasy.

Since Kurenai, Kakashi, and Might Guy had been sent to capture the Wood Ox, they had formed a kind of temporary alliance. Now, seeing Kurenai’s intense expression, Kakashi wasn’t sure how to react.

Kurenai took a deep breath before speaking. "Kakashi, can you guess how many people have gone missing in Konoha these past few days?"
