Chapter 181: Chapter One Hundred And Eighty-One: Summoned To Court (1)

Lucifer was in a meeting with his cabinet members, when he was rudely interrupted by the intruder who pushed open the throne room, revealing Abbadon in a really messed up situation.

He looked beaten up badly, and that enacted a series of whispers among the cabinet members, when Abbadon appeared looking like he was on the verge of death.

But if anything, Lucifer was more annoyed by him interrupting his meeting, but because the others were worried about him. He had to calm himself down and act like he was supposed to.

"Father." Abbadon called painfully, as he tried to unsee the situation moments ago with the angels. But it was stuck vividly on his mind, and it was really hard for him to walk since his body was taking a slow yike healing up after the beating he received from Micheal and Camael, only for him to fall down to the ground when he tried moving forward.

"What is the meaning of this?" Lucifer asked, his nose flaring up in anger, while he signaled the guards at the door to help his son up and he sat down in a seat.

If he could still remember he knew that he had left with Amos, since he put him in charge of helping him capture his brother, and the witch.

It didn’t occur to him how stupid it was of him, that as he was planning on making himself the forebearer of the prophecy, that he was wasting time with Adrik and the girl not here.

That would only attract the attention of the lawmakers/the executioners. It was an impatial body that controlled the criminal affairs of both hell and the crystal palace.

He didn’t want to waste anymore time, since he’s sure that very soon they would notice the foul play he had done, but then Abaddon’s words brought his attention back.

"Amos is dead."Abbadon confessed," And they are coming for you, father. Micheal had..." Abbadon tried to confess everything he was being told, but only was interrupted by Lucifer who shushed him, then did he realize that they had company.

Lucifer groaned in annoyance, before turning to face his guests," The meeting is over, everyone. Get out!" He ordered sharply.

"But my Lord, we still have the discussion about the chosen one...." One of his council members was bold enough to intercede, on behalf of others who were desperate enough to hear him talk about Adrik’s place in hell. But then the look he gave the motherfucker had him seal his mouth immediately, and then they started to leave.

"You had one job, Abbadon and that was to bring to me the girl." Lucifer turned to take his aggression out on Abbadon, who wasn’t believing what he saw.

"Father, I tried. We both know that Adrik is an indispensable force to reckon with, talk more of the impromptu interference of Micheal, and his men. I thought you had Oregon at your side, he’s working for themtoo." Abbadon blurted out in annoyance, but then Lucifer grabbed him by his neck, making him gasp at his hostility towards him.

He was hurt.

He knew that his father wasn’t the type to show emotions, but then that doesn’t have to be any problem, especially when it had to be with his family.

"You tried, but it wasn’t enough, Abbadon! She’s weak, she can’t control her abilities yet, you don’t have any right to give me this stupid reason!" Lucifer added, he breathed heavily before pushing Abbadon away to think about what his next strategy is.

His words hurt Abbadon, leaving him baffled at how serious his father was taking Adrik and Narika’s issues. It’s not like he’s the chosen one, but yet what does it bother him so much that Narika is with Adrik?

He looked at how disoriented his father is, and he was so lost in knowing the fact that his father was hiding something from him, that made him forgot to tell him the most important thing he heard from Micheal, but then it was too late when the door was pushed opened and in walked two executioners.

Abaddon’s eyes widened in fear, when he turned back to see the two demons standing guard at his front door choking to death.

"Lucifer Morningstar, you have been summoned to court." The man standing beside the female executioner spoke in a griff tone.

"Father." Abbadon called, really worried about his father, bit he shushed him immediately.

"It’s okay," Lucifer said, before moving forward towards their guest, he touched the hands of the both of them then did they vanished to court.

When he opened his eyes, everyone was present, when he meant everyone except for the Overruler. His ever so obedient sons, Micheal and Gabriel was there to represent him. While sitting besides them, was Oregon. Just like Abbadon said, the motherfucker wasn’t dead and he’s working with the crystal palace.

Lucifer’s eyes accessed more towards unfamiliar faces, that their emotions that screamed hate towards him made him wonder where and what exactly he had done to them, to deserve such a marveling response from them.

He looked away from the two women and he felt their emotions surging, among the others , until something clicked and he looked up to see the resemblance. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Narika’s grandma.

She was here.

He couldn’t help but to smirk as things had gotten so interesting, he had no idea that she was invited as a jury but then the other woman glaring at him, was the problem because he didn’t remember her.

She was a witch, but then he didn’t remember fucking a witch. He wasn’t able to read her mind, so as Narika’s grandma, but then his attention was dragged back to the lawmaker, Ethan.

Oregon did well to avoid his gaze, but then he clearly did a good thing because he doesn’t actually know, what he has instored for him once it’s out that he has his niece hostage.

Lucifer did well to remember the faces of everyone, who he seemed was important, before Ethan hit the gavel on the desk before accessing him.

"I do hope you understand the reason why you were summoned, Lucifer Morningstar?"
