Mortal soul, Unfathomable soul, Abstract soul, and Paradisical soul.

The willpower had seven levels.

Theoretically, a mortal soul could give birth to a Level One willpower; however, it was much more common for a creature to nurture an unfathomable soul and then develop a Level One willpower.

With each subsequent level reached by one’s willpower, there is a direct effect on the soul, which sees the unfathomable soul slowly evolve into an abstract soul.

The process of forging a Level Three Willpower augmented the unfathomable soul. By the time one’s willpower was on the cusp of the Fourth Level, their soul would be ready to evolve into an abstract soul.

Although one’s willpower and soul could evolve naturally with the passage of time, there was the Supreme Realm to assist the otherworldly creature in tempering their willpower, along with countless other kinds of cosmic treasures.

Similarly, there were a multitude of unique cosmic forces that could assist in a soul’s evolution.

The smoky substance seeped into his existence.

Although subtle, Elshen felt a change in his soul that brought a smile to his face. Naturally, this was only a Realm Heaven, whereas he had an abstract soul.

The benefit this unique smoky substance could give him was minimal.

However, the green flames forming a barrier around him slowly dwindled. When he looked around, there were even more Nether Soul creatures than before.

These new Nether Soul creatures were originally a great distance away, but after perceiving Elshen’s aura, they hurriedly rushed toward this unfamiliar beacon of energy.

Due to this, in no time at all, there were over ten thousand Nether Soul creatures that encompassed a barrier of flames.

Rather than perturbed, when he saw the number of Nether Soul creatures surrounding him, he felt a wave of desire and excitement.

Even if the smoky substance had a limited effect on his abstract soul, when there was a surplus of quantity, the effect could be even greater than high quality.

With the disappearance of the flame barrier, the Nether Soul creatures released human-like wails and cries before rushing into the previously barricaded domain.

Though this was the case, Elshen still appeared very leisurely while mumbling to himself.

"Everyone battles with their cosmic treasures these days. No one really develops any particular technique and shouts out the name before attacking. Maybe I can develop some special techniques and practice them here."

Battles between Dimension Lords did not usually contain the concept of ’battle-techniques’ like what mortal confrontations consisted of.

The many forms of a heavenly armament could be considered the battle techniques in this scenario.

The different ranks of a divine battle art could also be considered battle techniques.

The unique properties of a cosmic treasure could also be considered battle techniques.

What Elshen meant by his words was developing flashy moves that were powered solely by his principles or his insights into the Bladed pathway.

For example, Elshen’s five fingers were straight, and there was no room between them.

He made a horizontal slashing motion with his right hand, and just like before, several hundred Nether Soul creatures saw their bodies cleaved in half.

After his attack landed, he laughed boisterously and said, "How can you resist my Sky-Cleaving Invisible Blade? Don’t you know, my insights into the Bladed pathway are at the absolute peak of the Realm Father stage, and I’ve incorporated the principles of Death into that attack as well."

Thereafter, his gaze darted to his left.

His left palm was open, and he lifted it to the sky. From the ground, a towering, blazing inferno of green flames ruthlessly shot toward the black moon in the sky.

The aura was so powerful that it swept away the bodies of several hundred more Nether Soul creatures into the blood-colored sky, ruthlessly leaving their bodies charred.

He voiced, "This is called Blazing Heaven Tower. This technique combines both principles of Fire and principles of Inevitability. With the principles of Inevitability, it has a lock on effect on its targets."

Elshen laughed brazenly and began casually attacking.

Whenever he used his Region Dominating Blades or his Banner of Void Spirits, his attacks would always carry a flashy imagery behind them.

If he summoned the imagery of the sun through his principles of Fire, the entire Realm Heaven would begin to destabilize.

The ten thousand Nether Soul creatures that encompassed him were quickly exterminated before he absorbed the smoky substance that had grown in size.

It was like a fog that covered several miles.

Nevertheless, when he made contact with the smoky substance, the fog was devoured in a few moments. The effect it had on his soul was also more noticeable than before.

In the general scheme of things, the effect was slightly greater than insignificant; however, Nether Soul Realm Heaven was teeming with these Nether Soul creatures.

After clearing the surrounding area, he commenced a great hunting session. In the surrounding thousands of miles alone, there were more than a million Nether Soul creatures.

This was only a rough estimate, but the mind of a creature with an abstract soul like Elshen could somewhat accurately deduce this much with a glance.

The Realm Heaven was naturally much larger than the Nether Lake region. This was a space created from the laws of the cosmic space itself!

When a Realm Heaven was created, billions and sometimes even trillions of Realm Fathers would rush into this space.

Elshen’s power was naturally infinite; otherwise, it would never be capable of sustaining this carnage.

The principles of Fire ran rampantly for several lightyears’ worth of distance!

There were blade-like markings forcefully etched into space, creating spider-webbed cracks.

The entire species of Nether Soul creatures faced extinction.

The smoky substance created such a concentrated fog that it resembled an ocean of human-like faces overlapping with each other for trillions of miles.

Elshen spent sixty-three or so minutes absorbing the entire Realm Heaven’s worth of this cosmic force.

When everything was said and done, a great change had taken place.
