Myriad Devils-Chapter 312: Visitor
"Realm Father Elshen...?" The holy prince muttered these words thoughtfully. Glancing towards the throne, his lips curled upward slightly.
"I’ll go and take a look at this Elven legend."
His words only just fell before another voice resounded out, "High Mother, I’ve not left the Palace of Light in 783 years. I hope you don’t mind me retrieving little sister."
"Margaret?" The prince’s delicate face showed some surprise.
Countless miniature lights coalesced, materializing the body of a voluptuous figure. Her azure eyes were bright and attractive.
She had bushy, long eyebrows, and her lips were slightly pale but visibly tender and inviting.
Garments were yet to form on her body.
Her naked figure was heart-stirring and could easily cloud a man’s mind. Her legs were long, and her hips were wide and curvaceous.
There was a glowing halo of light above her head and a pair of wings on her back.
"Did you not hear? I’ll be going ahead and taking a look." Maddison playfully shook his head and said with a helpless expression.
Margaret shot him a cold glare.
"You’ll take a look...? You’ve never left the palace. At most, you’ll send an avatar to Maarsha’s side to satisfy your curiosity."
As her words fell, the prince exaggeratedly clutched his heart.
His voice was filled with deep emotions, "When you say it like that, it makes it appear as if I, the 3rd child of the Boundless Light Empress, Prince Maddison, do not care about my dear youngest sister."
Hmph!
Margaret scoffed coldly, uttering under her breath, "The only thing you care for is to satisfy your thirst for immoral intimacy."
She shifted her gaze away from him, cupping her fists toward the Empress’s throne.
"High Mother, I shall take my leave now."
Maddison frowned, and his outstretched hand inched towards her figure.
However, before he could touch her, Margaret’s body dispersed into fragments of light.
"Ah, so quick..." He sighed listlessly.
.....
Though a Realm Heaven had shown signs of appearing, the Nether Lake only stirred with slightly more vigor than before.
But the Realm Heaven itself was still several years away from manifesting.
And yet, several years were a blip in the course of eternity.
The ancient pavilion had descended from the night sky, resting on the mist-covered earth.
The trio of figures set camp near the restless Nether Lake. Ah Ri and Maarsha remained silent throughout, calmly assuming meditative postures.
The red patterns on Elshen’s dark red armor glowed with a subtly greater intensity than before, but the jade-colored cape that fell behind him was no longer present.
In his hand were multiple star-shaped balls, like marbles. He played with them whilst humming thoughtfully.
"Although this star-locking seal is only a mid-tier cosmic treasure that was damaged from my attack, with the nature of the nightscape forbidden land already obscuring Heaven & Earth’s secrets, this should still have some use, right?"
He mused to himself, but soon after, he squinted his eyes with a slight frown and looked toward Maarsha’s direction.
Both Maarsha and Ah Ri were unnervingly calm for their positions in this situation.
Nevertheless, Elshen didn’t appear particularly surprised by this, so it was clear that this wasn’t what had earned his attention.
The Fourth princess opened her eyes, exiting her meditative state.
For the briefest of moments, her violet-colored eyes gleamed with a golden splendor.
She looked to her side with a face filled with bewilderment.
The black mist radiating from the earth saw a transformation of color.
Their very properties were altered, and from this mist, a humanoid figure shrouded by swirling green fog manifested.
His body was not fully corporeal, but instead remarkably hazy; however, it was no issue for a creature like Elshen to perceive his features.
Prince Maddison’s avatar slowly looked around.
Seemingly thinking of something, he revealed a wide grin on his face and voiced aloud, "Heh... that old man must’ve seen better days."
He then glanced at Maarsha before turning to Elshen, who slowly approached from afar.
"You have not taken advantage of my sister, right?"
Prince Maddison’s words caused Elshen’s lips to curve upward.
The former looked at his approaching figure, as if attempting to decipher his true core of thoughts...
This only caused Realm Father Elshen’s lips to curl into an even broader smile.
"Taken advantage of her? Me?" Elshen profusely shook his head, revealing some displeasure, "Do I look like that kind of person?"
He really seemed offended.
The hazy figure did not reply.
During this time, Elshen already appeared before Maarsha and the avatar.
He signaled with his fingers, causing the avatar to knit its brows doubtfully.
Elshen was not signaling at him, but at Maarsha.
The latter rose to her feet.
Ignoring her brother, she reached out and wrapped her hands around Elshen. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
"You see," Realm Father Elshen smiled bitterly, "If anything, doesn’t it seem like I am the one being taken advantage of?"
Pressing her face against his chest, Maarsha glanced back and sent a sharp gaze at the avatar.
There was an imperceptible crimson light that flickered before disappearing right after.
"You, you, you...!" Prince Maddison appeared furious.
Though it had disappeared in a moment’s notice, he was still able to perceive that crimson light in Maarsha’s eyes.
"How dare you!" He roared furiously.
Seemingly unbothered by his trembling body, she smiled coldly before raising her head, looking at Elshen’s face with wanton desire.
He brought his face closer to hers.
The two lacked any care for the outer world as they kissed.
Prince Maddison’s avatar was seething; however, just when he was about to burst forth with rage, Elshen separated his lips from Maarsha’s.
"Let the Heavens be my witness. I swear, I am not controlling Maarsha’s soul..."
After he said this, he began giggling to himself as if he had gone mad.
The hazy figure’s ragged breaths eased slightly.
"Hahahahaha..." The prince’s avatar laughed menacingly.
"Hah... For you to treat me like this..." Prince Maddison sighed deeply, as if wronged. He said, "My intentions for visiting you were actually very pure. I had only come in warning."
"Warning?" Elshen tilted his head doubtfully.
The avatar appeared in control of its emotions once more, and he nodded deeply, saying, "Yes, in warning. After all, the old man’s death seemed to agitate High Mother. Her agitation caused the entire palace to quake, which disturbed the eldest sister..."
At the mention of ’the eldest sister’, Elshen squinted his eyes.
Seeing his reaction, the hazy figure smirked and voiced, "It appears that even the legendary Realm Father knows the name, Lady of Dazzling Lights."
"When she acts, your death will be instantaneous."
Prince Maddison’s words carried an indomitable air of certainty.
As if the words he spoke were a kind of universal truth, and not something that could be reversed...
Elshen was silent for a moment.
Thinking for a moment, he suddenly smirked coldly and said, "In the future, I’ll thank you for this kind warning."
At some point, a Region Dominating Blade appeared in his grasp.
Before the prince’s avatar could realize what took place, his body was cleaved apart.
