Myriad Devils-Chapter 279: An easily forgettable jest

Realm Father Elshen had an abstract soul, so no matter how other Dimension Lords looked at him, they could not help but think of two possibilities...

One.

He was a brilliant genius with immensely powerful backing. This meant he had a Dimension Lord(s) behind him.

Or two.

He was a Dimension Lord in disguise.

The second was even scarier because they could not see through his disguise.

A Dimension Lord should be capable of obscuring their true nature under the gaze of a realm father, yes, but to confuse the gaze of other Dimension Lords should be impossible and improbable, unless the Dimension Lord was yet to nurture an abstract soul.

Such Dimension Lords did indeed exist, but Mystifying Jade Fantasy was not one, and Savage Blood Emperor was also not one.

Elshen had a head of red hair, whilst Mystifying Jade Fantasy had greyish white hair. They were both beautiful, and for the first time since she appeared, he smiled.

The eyes of Mystifying Jade Fantasy alluringly lit up. Elshen then voiced his thoughts for the first time since she appeared.

"Would you believe me if I said that I was not a Dimension Lord?" He asked. But Mystifying Jade Fantasy did not reply, because he did not stop speaking.

And the more he spoke, the hotter her breathing became.

"And would you believe me if I said that there was no Dimension Lord behind me, or at least, actively shrouding the mysteries surrounding me?" He asked.

Because he did have a wife who was a Pinnacle-Level Dimension Lord, and since she was the World Tree, all of Eternal Antiquity fell under her gaze, so she was watching... 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

But she did not protect him because only Mythralis was her dominion.

"You..." Mystifying Jade Fantasy’s voice was stuck in her throat, and her eyes widened in shock.

"You’re really one of them, aren’t you!" She said, but not so much in a questioning tone, but in one of excitement.

Elshen smiled naturally, nodding his head.

This was his true intention from the very beginning anyway.

Not so much toward Mystifying Jade Fantasy, but any Dimension Lord worked.

Though he sought to draw the City Lord’s gaze, this was actually a better reality.

So Shattering Blood had only assisted him...

’Indeed, this is the power of Inevitability. My favored reality has already been etched in stone, so though things outside of what I’ve voiced and woven might interfere, Inevitability would attempt to correct this to achieve my favored reality in the end...’ Elshen grinned.

It was unlikely that the Dimension Lords of the Ancient City of Sun Jade would allow a Realm Father of Nine Folds to enter the Realm Heaven soon to appear.

Unless, of course, this Realm Father was their own ’hand’.

Elshen could not battle all of them, including the City Lord, and force his way into this cosmic fortune; it was not even worth it.

So he had to side with at least one of them.

Favorably, it should’ve been the City Lord, but it appeared that this cosmic fortune did not stir his heart with desire.

This was good.

So he instead gave an intriguing hand to his daughter.

Daughter?

Since the World Tree crafted each member of the Elven race, the process of reproduction, though similar, was slightly different from that of Earthlings.

It involved both reproductive acts and the world tree’s blessing...

Mystifying Jade Fantasy had only been stunned for a few moments before she returned to clarity, and she was standing a distance away from Elshen, who sat on his knees.

So she approached him and lowered her stance in a seductive, almost inviting manner. Her eyes were filled with amusement, and she said, knowingly...

"If what you say is the truth, then you would’ve planned all of this already." She said.

"You would’ve wanted to draw the attention of any one Dimension Lord, and through them, acquire the chance to enter the Purity Heaven Realm, isn’t this so?"

Her lips were already an inch away from Elshen’s, and her breath was hot, carrying the faint scent of cherry blossoms.

They were inviting, and Elshen’s chaos blood was akin to a raging sea, crashing against the walls of his mind.

He would not resist for much longer, but his celestial nature countered this ungodly psyche, and his eyes lit up like burning suns, momentarily stunning Mystic Jade Fantasy.

"What I schemed does not matter." Elshen smiled, and the inch of distance shrank ever slightly.

"The Dimension Lord wishes for the single greatest treasure in this so-called Purity Heaven Realm, but only Realm Fathers can enter. This is a cosmic rule to maintain the Realm Heaven, and if broken, the greatest treasure will be lost."

"The realm father wishes for the opportunity to enter this so-called Purity Heaven Realm and acquire cosmic treasures. They can even acquire the single greatest treasure."

"So interests align, and they become the hands of the Dimension Lords."

"In exchange for acquiring the single greatest treasure for their owner, these hands can also plunder the other cosmic treasures, and they will also be heavily rewarded upon returning, if they were to acquire this single greatest treasure."

"So the Dimension Lord must now find a suitable, or multiple suitable candidates, to increase their chance of acquiring this single greatest treasure."

Though Elshen said this, the true intentions behind his words could be deciphered by Mystifying Jade Fantasy.

I, Realm Father Elshen, can acquire for you the single greatest treasure.

All you need to do is allow me to become your hands...

Mystifying Jade Fantasy blinked.

Her long eyelashes fluttered, and her elegantly arched brows knitted in thought.

"I only wonder," she voiced in a questioning, doubtful tone, "What means do you have to escape the pursuit of this Dimension Lord?"

"Or are you truly willing to retrieve this single greatest treasure for this Mystifying Jade Fantasy?"

Realm Father Elshen grew silent upon hearing these words.

Seemingly deep in thought, he then mentioned something that was said, only in a joking manner...

"I have my ways to maneuver across six Heavens in an instance." Elshen exaggeratedly said.

Six Heavens up, was the 15th Heaven.

Six Heavens down, was the 3rd Heaven...

To maneuver such great distances in an instant, outside of teleportation, was beyond any creature within the cosmic space...

This was only an easily forgettable jest, causing the Mystifying Jade Fantasy’s beautiful face to become a shade darker.

However, Elshen’s gaze grew stranger as seconds passed, and his radiant gold eyes were doused by a crimson shade.

This crimson shade only intensified...

Smilingly, he said in a husky voice, dripping with demonic temptations, "When I speak, you know not what is true, and what is false. Isn’t that just the unpredictable nature of otherworldly Sun Elves like me?"

"And otherworldly Dark Elves like you find such a nature, incredibly fucking sexy..." After saying this, he chuckled darkly.

These words were followed by a brief silence.

Amidst this silence, an equilibrium finally manifested, and at long last, both of their gazes generated a spark.

This was a fiery spark, a depraved spark...
