Chapter 251: To accompany

The Supreme Realm...

What usually entered the Supreme realm was an otherworldly creature’s soul, which resided in the heart realm; however, Anon’s soul, flesh, and spirit were one.

Once he entered the Supreme realm, it meant leaving the cosmic space completely. To him, the Supreme realm could also be a kind of safe retreat.

And he had planned to enter the Supreme realm in the first place.

Heart like blades, he grasped a pair of Region Dominating Blades from the empty air, and he attempted to resonate with the Supreme realm, but his inner cosmos palpitated in terror.

These palpitations, which originated from the dread coursing through his existence, stemmed from the very nature of the entity that observed him.

Inherently, Humans were scared of the unknown.

Unknowingly, the Ghost Autarchs themselves represented the unknown very well, and they also represented what concepts could reside in the unknown.

"Where are you going?" The Fourth Ghost Autarch had the strangest of voices. It could not really be described, but so were many things in the otherworldly realm.

When this voice fell, Anon’s growing resonance with the Supreme realm dissipated almost instantly.

Before him was a humanoid figure with silky white hair that fell like a waterfall. This was hair that appeared even more beautiful than his own.

For a moment, Anon found himself dazed by the appearance of the Fourth Ghost Autarch. But his own appearance was not incomparable; his reaction only went to show how brilliant Tenebris was.

Upon peering into Anon’s soul, the Ghost Autarch revealed a perplexed gaze.

It did not seem to understand how he could foster these kinds of thoughts.

"Why do you think like that?" Tenebris tilted its head and drew closer to Anon’s face.

It appeared mere millimeters away, causing Anon’s eyes to flash, not only with understanding, but amusement.

A distance of millimeters was effectively not a distance at all.

However, seemingly reacting before Anon could even lean toward it, Tenebris evaded his attempt to graze their lips, or possibly go even further.

"Why would you do that?"

Essentially, Tenebris desired to see, to observe closely, and to interact.

But there was no desire to touch, to intermingle, or to break down, dissect, and analyze...

Though it could only gaze at Anon’s surface thoughts, it wanted to see through the very nature of his soul; it wanted to observe the fundamental structure of Anon’s thoughts.

After all, individuals were singular because they were capable of reacting differently to similar situations.

More than that, it sought to understand the true nature of this existence known as Humanity’s Young Lord.

Why was this existence so much different?

Why was he unique?

Why was he one of one across the entire cosmic space?

Yes, he was this because he was the only entity to succeed in otherworldly ascension with a second world cultivation, but...

Was that really why he was unique? So what made him succeed in the first place? Why could others not replicate his acts?

Why, even the Human Lord, was unable to achieve what Anon did?

The more Tenebris thought, the closer it got to him.

Stretching out his hand, Anon grasped at this Overlord, almost daringly. The paradisical gazes intensified upon seeing his oh so daring act.

Tenebris evaded his grasp and appeared behind him, its hollow eyes like abysses that gazed at Anon’s back, sending chills down his spine.

"Why do you want to touch me?" Tenebris asked with doubt.

Sometimes, Anon’s abstract soul was only as mysterious as any other, and it was simple for a paradisical gaze to observe his surface thoughts.

Other times, it became so radiant that it was difficult to even glimpse at his surface thoughts.

And at times, it became so dark that it was troublesome to make out his surface thoughts.

"Why?" His eyes spewed out rays of celestial light. His abstract soul was shrouded by a divine nature that sought dominion over all things...

His divine gaze peered into the pair of hollow abysses that were before him, and without fear, he proclaimed, "You are the most beautiful creature I’ve ever seen. I want you."

One must understand...

Like the Celestial Supreme, the Infernal God, and Anon himself, the Human Lord was outwardly radiant and otherworldly; however, there would be no existence outside the other three, who were as inwardly vile in nature as the Human Lord.

These four creatures represented both the most radiant that the world had to offer and the most diabolical that the world had to offer.

On the other hand, to Anon, how Tenebris appeared outwardly was also how it appeared inwardly. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

It wasn’t his ungodly nature, but his divine nature that desired to be worshipped by this Overlord.

For an indistinguishable period after Anon spoke out his thoughts, Tenebris stared at him in an unsettling silence.

Many paradisical gazes stared at him, doubtful of what really instigated him to express these thoughts.

How daring was this Young Lord to speak to an Overlord like this, and to say such daring things?

Dimensionally speaking, an Overlord was above and beyond him. The two existed on entirely different planes of existence.

A creature of a lesser plane held its own desire for an entity that existed on a higher plane?

This was ignorance to the highest degree.

"Why do you see me as beautiful?’ Its tilted head expressed the doubt in its gaze, and it spoke slowly, in that strange voice, "Why do you want me?"

It struggled to understand, especially since it struggled to see Anon’s surface thoughts.

It suddenly felt an urge...

Should it tear this Young Lord apart to see what was inside its soul?

No.

This was not in its nature.

Who was it that was attempting to manipulate its actions?

Tenebris suddenly frowned and looked beyond the cosmic vessel, and beyond countless layers of cosmic space, toward what was incomprehensible in nature...

Anon wondered to himself.

Unknowingly, he found himself seriously thinking over the Ghost Autarch’s words.

"Mortal Humans are born with desires in the depths of their souls. Creatures that they find to be beautiful in appearance, to have pretty features, stir their desires." Anon genuinely smiled and explained.

"These desires and emotions reside within the soul, and when it is stirred, the Human is inclined toward intermingling with the beautiful creature. Do you understand now?"

The Fourth Ghost Autarch pursed its lips and questioned, "But you are not a mortal Human, so how can you still feel desire...?"

Suddenly, it gasped.

In the depths of its hollow eyes, two miniature stars shone with radiance, and for a moment, its eyes were lit up.

"Are you one of one because of this?" It beckoned for an answer.

Hearing this, Anon didn’t know if to burst out laughing.

Theoretically, its words were not wrong.

But the basic principles were...

He was not one of one simply because he felt desires. Every otherworldly creature desired; however, their desires were more complex in nature, fitting for their souls.

It was a similar case for Anon.

As a mortal, his actions and intentions would be considered inherently lustful, and one would associate lust with his words toward the Ghost Autarch; however, this was not the case.

In truth...

He did not lustfully desire the beautiful, and lust could not overcome him... and it could not take effect on his soul... and he was transcendent over it.

His divine nature was simply superior, and it held a desire to subdue the most beautiful existence... and it desired to be worshipped by the most beautiful existence... and it desired to be idolized by all of existence.

His ungodly nature was naturally unholy, and it held a desire to devour the hearts of the pure... and it desired to fester in the hearts... and it desired to corrupt the hearts.

So when he corrupted Elizabeth, it was for his ungodly nature to fester in her heart.

And when he demonized the minds and souls of those in the seventh chained palace on planet Eldara, it was to corrupt their hearts.

"I am transcendent over mortal desires, but I am one of one due to desire, yes. It is not mortal desire, but the desire of that which is incomprehensible in nature." Anon casually made up something that sounded profound and said it with a serious expression.

He did mix in some truth...

His divine nature was the inherent psyche of the Celestial Supreme, and his ungodly nature was the inherent nature of the Infernal God.

His transcendental nature was his own, otherworldly nature.

So when he said that this was the desire of that which was incomprehensible, he naturally implied the Celestial Supreme and the Infernal God, who were both inconceivable existences.

But his words only made Tenebris knit its brows even more tightly, "Do you desire to intermingle with me? Why?"

Chuckling, he said, "Instead of asking, it would be easier to show you."

Before he could do anything, Tenebris stepped back and frowningly stated, "I want to see you and to observe you, but I do not want to touch or to be touched by you."

"There is no need," Anon smiled, knowingly. He said, "I will show you, but to see, you’ll have to accompany me for a while."
