Chapter 247: Null & Void

Before the confrontation, Eldara’s planetary leaders and the planetary sentinel were gathered in the now accursed seventh palace.

Their faces were darker than ever before, especially the sentinel, and the lead figure amongst the planetary leaders...

"Even if he’s Humanity’s Young Lord, are the Higher-ups of our Human race willing to see rebellion because of him?!" The grey-skinned, aged leader roared.

He bellowed out with indignation, "Do they think that we insignificant souls won’t dare to mingle with the demons, or the dragons?! Oh, how much those bastardly creatures would give to successfully destroy a strategic planet!"

Do they think we won’t dare?!

These words reverberated in the minds of the nearby planetary leaders. Even the planet’s sentinel was a little swayed, but reason told him otherwise...

"Listen, even if you betray the Human race, there is no certainty that the Human race would actually feel the pinch..." Seraphis attempted to reason, "Instead, we must document all that occurred and seek out justice!"

The entire hall went silent.

Usually, the sentinel’s words were obediently obeyed, but not this time... not now!

That humiliation!

The lead figure amongst the planetary leaders had obliterated the body and soul of his own daughter in the most humiliating way possible.

That power, which overwhelmed them, latched onto the past existence of each entity, seeing the destruction of that past self as well.

There was no reviving his daughter!

And even if he could, he did not know how to face her.

Worst of all, his own son-in-law was so humiliated that even though he survived, it could not be considered a stroke of good fortune.

That kind of torture and degradation broke the mind and shattered the soul.

"Document?" The aged lead figure of the planetary leaders roared, "What do you mean, seek out justice? From who?!"

Humanity’s Young Lord had already done what he did.

Or does the Human Lord and the Overlords know not of what he did?

The aged lead figure, and the rest of the planetary leaders, raged.

"The Astral Void race has birthed a Fourth Ghost Autarch..."

The voice of an Overlord resounded across the entirety of planet Eldara.

The Temporal Palace Master did not care for a lesser existence.

In this moment, her grating voice shook all unfathomable souls, causing them to rupture.

Some with stronger wills screamed, and others with weaker wills saw their own souls shatter and be reduced to dust.

Soon after, the entirety of planet Eldara returned to cosmic debris.

This occurred very naturally.

Even if the cosmic space ceaselessly suppressed their power, there was a limit to the universe’s ability to mitigate the power of the Overlords, and the destruction of a life-planet was an insignificant matter.

Very easily, an innumerable number of minor regions would simply disappear, and a major region could face annihilation and doomsday.

Luckily, not only was this the Human Domain; however, but this was also the minor region that housed planet Earth.

In this scheme, several Human Emperors acted, but only two revealed themselves.

Anyway, for Anon at least, planet Eldara’s existence was what mattered, but it was now null & void.

The adorable doll was really too weak to be by his side, and they were now null & void.

The planetary sentinel, Seraphis, was now null & void.

Leren was now null & void.

Everything...

When he returned from the Domain of Dreams, Anon simply stood in what was now a gargantuan vacuum in space, an endlessly deep abyss in which nothing, no light, nor matter, not even stellar cosmic energy existed.

He stared at the darkness, seemingly dazed.

His wings spread out far and wide, quivering ever so slightly.

Unexpectedly, he had survived the very first wave of hardship brought about by the outrage of what was to him, creatures incomprehensible in nature.

.....

The Human species had the Human Domain, and the Demon species had the Dominion of Demons.

The Astral Void race also had an Archaic Region. It was named...

Null & Void.

The First Ghost Autarch could only be said to be characterized by an intricate design that merged the organic with the cosmic.

Their form emanated a spectral light, surrounded by cosmic mysteries that resembled both floral motifs and celestial phenomena.

The most striking feature was its array of eyes... multiple, shifting, and somewhat unsettling that spread throughout its form.

Each eye pulsed with its own luminescence, reflecting cosmic mysteries and universal constructs in its depths.

Its swirling features created a sense of movement, as if the First Ghost Autarch was a living storm of incomprehensible energy.

It had a color, but this color could not be described.

The First Ghost Autarch was detached and observed all things.

The Second Ghost Autarch did not stray from the path that the First had established...

Their form was of a striking and haunting silhouette, shadowy and almost monstrous. They were shrouded in darkness, with a stark contrast emerging from the luminous, intricate patterns that radiate outward from within their body.

A dark void symbolized its core, while a series of thick, throbbing tendrils emerged from and surrounded the silhouette. These tendrils twisted and curled in complex formations...

Essentially, its body was made up of contrasting concepts, representing what was, and what was not.

The Second Ghost Autarch was detached and observed all things.

The Third Ghost Autarch... well, it was unique.

The First inspired the Second, but the Third inspired the Fourth.

The Fourth Ghost Autarch was estranged from its own kind, or more accurately, it alienated itself from its own kind.

However, it still resided in the Archaic region, Null & Void.

The First and Second Ghost Autarch observed the Fourth Ghost Autarch.

Because it was inspired by the Third, its true body was the most humanoid of the Ghost Autarchs, and it regularly appeared in a false body that was almost no different than the so-called spirits of creation, the Humans.

The Fourth Ghost Autarch was akin to a spec of dust in a bottomless sea, observed by two Eldritch Horrors; however, its face was stiff, and its eyes were hollowed out.

Though humans would consider everything else beautiful, its expression and its eyes would exist at the other end of the spectrum.

More than repulsive, it was frightening.

When the topic of Humanity’s Young Lord was first mentioned, the Fourth Ghost Autarch had ignored the Third, the Wandering, and its desire to touch, dissect, and analyze.

Even if it was inspired by the Third, the Wandering, it did not seek to touch.

At the same time, it did not seek to detach itself.

The Third had unknowingly fallen into the trap of the Humans.

The Weaver of Dreams was, in actuality, an Overlord.

And everything revolved around that Young Lord again...

That Young Lord was only an otherworldly knight; however, it was the progeny of the Dragon Burial Origin Ancestor.

Amongst the Human species, the progeny of greater creatures had a special connection to them, and could even display some of their greatness.

However, it appeared that this Young Lord had achieved something that even the Dragon Burial Origin Ancestor had not.

In all fairness, the First & Second Ghost Autarch had detached themselves and observed, and the third sought out, so they were knowing.

The Fourth was more unique.

Now, the Fourth was curious as well.

The Fourth did not have the desire to touch, but it was not detached either.

It did not have the desire to dissect, but it wanted to approach.

It did not wish to touch, but it still wanted to assess.

The First Ghost Autarch, the Veiled.

The Second Ghost Autarch, the Looming.

The Third Ghost Autarch, the Wandering.

The Fourth Ghost Autarch, Tenebris.

The Veiled and the Looming warned, "We do not intervene in matters of the Cosmic Space."

The Fourth Ghost Autarch had a serene figure with long, flowing white hair that cascaded down like a veil.

Soft, graceful, ethereal, and dreamy, it had a peaceful expression on its face.

It was amused.

"Even if that is so, shouldn’t you have warned the Wandering?"

Tenebris rarely felt curiosity.

It was only inspired by the Third Ghost Autarch, so its paradisical soul was not easily perturbed; however, it was inherently curious about the spirit of creation, the Human.

The central figure of the Human was the Human Lord, but all conspiracies seemed to instead center around the Young Lord.

When the Fourth Ghost Autarch moved, it maneuvered across the cosmic space in its true form.

The Fourth Ghost Autarch, in its true form, was Tenebrisculis.

This thing, the Tenebrisculis, carried a hauntingly ethereal visage, with its slender, almost skeletal frame, and was an ominous blend of beauty and horror.

Its skin was a pale, ghostly white, almost luminescent against the surrounding darkness of the Null & Void, reminiscent of moonlight that pierced through twilight.

Atop its head rested a grotesque crown formed from jagged spines, protruding outward like the rays of a twisted sun.

The Fourth Ghost Autarch, the Tenebrisculis, had a hollow chest that was a labyrinth of ribs, constructed from what appeared as a delicate latticework that revealed the darkness within its innards.

It had long, flowing appendages that mimicked the flutter of silk, trailing behind like spectral shadows. Wisps of smoke-like tendrils issued from its form, swirling as if alive.

When it exited the Null & Void Archaic region, paradisical gazes and gazes originating from a soul that was greater than, followed it.

The Wandering was within the predictions of Overlords, but that was due to its inherent nature.

Instead, the other three Ghost Autarchs were undecipherable.

They chose to remain in the Archaic region of Null & Void, never making their appearance known.

But now, the Fourth Ghost Autarch had left for the first time.

This entire existence was one of unsettling grace.

This was a beautifully horrifying existence.
