My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot-Chapter 127 - 121: I Hope You Run Away
The sound immediately made everyone look ahead.
A brilliant golden light suddenly erupted from the pile of rubble. A phoenix, wreathed in what looked like flames, burst forth from the ground. It raised its head high and let out a cry that was bird-like yet not, then spread its massive wings and took flight.
Everyone on site was dumbfounded, staring blankly as the phoenix circled twice in the sky before landing and transforming into a human figure.
Clad in orange gear, Master Rory shone like a small sun, radiating a golden light.
Immediately after, a line of three-dimensional, calligraphic text appeared beside Master Rory: [When humanity discovers its own inner truth and abandons its over-reliance on external forces, miracles will happen!]
The calligraphic text then seemed to be absorbed by Master Rory, and her health bar, which had dropped to zero, instantly refilled.
Just as the other contestants were stunned by the scene, Master Rory, like a goddess of vengeance, launched an incredibly fast attack on the players surrounding Echo.
Everywhere she went, flames blossomed like flowers, dyeing the landscape red.
A phoenix’s nirvana, reborn from the ashes!

Outside the arena, everyone was shell-shocked by Master Rory’s death and resurrection.
"Isn’t that a bug?"
Someone’s dazed question cast a strange mood over the audience.
The crowd turned to look at the two Mr. Lockwoods from DAF, but they also seemed stunned by what had just happened.
Just as everyone was at a loss, a pleasant male voice suddenly chuckled. "That’s one of The Flame Queen’s legacy Skills, Nirvana Rebirth. It’s a special Skill unique to the Boxer class."
Arthur Lockwood quickly turned his head to see that the mysterious, sunglasses-wearing man in the back row had already stood up and was preparing to leave.
Zeke Quincy then remembered that Aurora Sinclair indeed had such a Skill. He broke into a goofy grin and exclaimed happily, "It’s not a bug! It’s a legacy Skill from The Flame Queen. Master Rory got it as a reward for triggering a hidden quest!"
"Really? So she was revived?"
"Looks like it! Her points didn’t change, and her health is back to full."
Hearing this, the manager of a nearby team’s expression changed instantly. He quickly grabbed his phone and told someone to go register a Boxer account.
The announcement signaling the end of the match finally sounded—
Everyone immediately looked at the scoreboard.
First Place: Master Rory [Boxer], Points: 1,034,520
Second Place: Echo [Poison Master], Points: 902,365
...
Their names and the match video quickly went viral in the gaming community, and the Boxer class started trending.

Immediately after, EM Group’s official account released a new promotional video for the Boxer class, which featured the Nirvana Rebirth Skill.
However, the Skill immediately drew skepticism from many players, who felt it would undermine the game’s fairness.
The company quickly followed up by publishing the conditions for using the Skill.
After reading them, players exclaimed in unison: ’These conditions are way too harsh!’
The Skill had a one-month cooldown. To use it, a character had to achieve five valid 300-hit combos within a single day, and the Skill could only be activated once their health was completely depleted.
If even one condition wasn’t met, the Skill could not be activated.
In other words, this Skill couldn’t be used casually.
The players were now in absolute awe of Master Rory for being able to activate it.
Thanks to Master Rory, the Boxer class received its best promotion ever.

In the EM Group competition area, an announcement instructed everyone to leave in an orderly fashion.
Aurora Sinclair cracked her knuckles, rolled her neck a couple of times, and picked up the mask from the table to put it back on.
As she turned, her gaze met Alvin Morgan’s. He had been watching her for who knows how long.
She asked softly, "Ready to go?"
Alvin was still replaying the moment Aurora had sacrificed herself to save him. With mixed feelings, he asked, "Why did you save me back there?"
"Hm?" Aurora Sinclair blinked a couple of times and said earnestly, "I’m supposed to protect you."
Alvin couldn’t help but chuckle.
’Thank goodness this is just a game.’
"Aurora..."
"Yes?"
Alvin stood up, took Aurora Sinclair’s hand, and looked at her seriously. "If something like this ever happens in real life, I want you to run..."
"Why?"
Alvin fell silent for a moment. "Because I want to protect you, too."
Aurora Sinclair seemed to pause for a second. She looked at him for a moment, then nodded. "Okay."

Because their seats were at the very end of the row, the two of them were almost the last to leave the computer lab.
Just as they reached the elevators, a man in a suit stepped in front of them.
"Miss Sinclair, please wait. I’m the secretary to the president of EM Group. Our president would like to see you."
Levi Forrest’s gaze on Aurora Sinclair was fervent, as if he’d discovered a treasure. Alvin Morgan subtly shielded Aurora behind him and asked coolly, "What about?"
Only then did Levi Forrest’s eyes shift to Alvin. He said politely, "It’s like this: our president saw her match and would like to discuss the game with her."
Alvin turned to ask Aurora Sinclair, "Do you want to go?"
Levi Forrest was momentarily speechless. ’These two sure think highly of themselves!’
It wasn’t every day their president personally requested a meeting. Many people tried to see him and failed!
Aurora Sinclair asked, "Are you going?"
The expression on Levi Forrest’s face froze. He stressed again, "Miss Sinclair, the president only asked to see you, not anyone else..."
Aurora Sinclair nodded, took Alvin Morgan’s hand, and strode toward the elevator. A smile played in Alvin’s eyes as he followed her lead.
"Wait a moment, let me ask the president..." Seeing them about to leave, Levi Forrest panicked. He quickly called out to stop them, then pulled out his phone and quietly called Jared Miles.
"Mr. Miles, Miss Sinclair wants to bring her..." Levi Forrest paused, glanced at Alvin Morgan, saw him holding hands with Aurora, and continued, "...wants to bring her boyfriend along. Is that okay?"

「Top floor of the EM Group’s Syland City headquarters.」
Harrison Yates stood with his back slightly bowed, not daring to breathe too loudly.
Jared Miles had been in a good mood just moments before, but after taking the call, his entire expression had darkened. He looked to be on the verge of exploding with rage.
Harrison didn’t dare to ask any questions and did his best to make himself invisible.
About ten minutes later, a knock came from the door.
Seeing that Jared Miles hadn’t turned around and was still staring out the window, Harrison Yates couldn’t help but call out, "Come in—"
The office door slowly opened. Harrison Yates held his breath and looked toward the entrance.
A familiar figure walked in—it was the head of the tech department.
"Mr. Miles, Mr. Yates, here is the data on the Boxer from this match."
Harrison Yates felt like he could die. He frantically tried to signal the man with his eyes, but the tech department head didn’t catch on, asking bluntly, "Mr. Yates, is something wrong with your eye? Should I call a doctor?"
Just then, the office door was knocked on again. This time, it was the secretary, Levi Forrest.
"Mr. Miles, I’ve brought them."
Without turning around, Jared Miles said flatly, "All of you, get out—"
Harrison Yates breathed a sigh of relief. He cast a curious glance at the two people at the door as he walked out without stopping.
At the doorway, Aurora Sinclair’s eyes widened. She unconsciously took a step into the room, but since Alvin Morgan was still holding her hand, they entered together.
"You get out too. And shut the door—"
Levi Forrest paused for a second, then immediately lowered his head, walked out of the office, and closed the door properly.
Jared Miles watched the reflection in the window, his gaze darkening as he saw their intertwined hands.
Suddenly, a formidable "Power" erupted from his body, rushing toward Alvin Morgan.
Aurora Sinclair’s expression changed in an instant. She immediately stepped in front of Alvin, simultaneously summoning her own "Power" to counter the threat.
The two "Powers" collided violently, spreading out like a shockwave. The nearby sofa and coffee table were instantly overturned, sent crashing against the wall.
A tremendous crash startled Levi Forrest, who was waiting outside. He spun around and knocked on the door. "Mr. Miles—"
But a muffled voice from within replied, "Stay out—"
Jared Miles staggered as he turned, clutching his chest to suppress the surge of blood rising in his throat. He braced himself with one hand on the desk, nearly collapsing to his knees.
"Junior Sister, you’ve gotten stronger again!"
