My Werewolf System-Chapter 1297: Dimensional charge
The sparks continued to form between the horns of Austin. They were every once in a while, as if it was a type of generator that was trying to power up. Eventually, the sparks stayed consistent and now was forming into a ball of energy.
'This is risky…but to be able to beat someone like Lupus, I'm going to need to take some risks!' Austin thought.
He kicked off his feet, digging them into the ground. The concrete floor was ripping with each step, and more and more was being pushed back as his speed was increasing. Seeing the horns pointed at him, Lupus was getting ready with his hands, and excitement growing on his face.
"ARGHH!" Austin shouted.
The spark directly on his horns had grown, and it expanded out in front of him into a large circular object, with an array of different colors. Austin didn't slow down as he ran right into it, and his entire body disappeared with it, then the circular object in the sky disappeared, and Lupus could no longer see anything.
"Where did he go?" Lupus said. Even as he sniffed the air, or used his ears, Lupus wasn't able to tell anything. It truly was like Austin had disappeared just like that. His instincts were sharp though; he needed to be ready for anything.
After a short while, a portal opened up, several meters away from Lupus, and the human-bull creature had come running out of it with his horns pointed outward. It was at a great speed, that made it so Lupus could only see it as a blur.
Soon that blue had stopped, and they were over a hundred meters away from Lupus.
Even Austin looked confused as he turned around, trying to find his target, and then spotting Lupus once again.
'Damn it, I still don't know how to use it properly…I completely missed?' Austin thought to himself.
"That's a fancy trick you have," Lupus said. "Did you teleport? Well, let's see you try that again."
Lupus was now running right at Austin, and he was doing so almost on all fours as he came forward and then jumped up in the air with his arm reeled back.
Austin pushed forward again, and the sparks generated on his horns, opening up another portal. Austin went right through it, and Lupus landed on the ground, throwing his fist out.
A heavy gust of wind blew in the area of his punch, rattling objects far off in the distance, but it had hit nothing, because once again Austin's body had disappeared.
"It's really gone again, it really is like he's teleporting everywhere…but how are you going to win a fight like that, come on!" Lupus shouted.
The portal opened off far off again, now back towards the garden, close to where the others were. When Austin came out, he even noticed that the Altered hunters had yet to leave the area as well.
"What are you guys still doing here? Did you not listen? I told you to leave!" Austin shouted.
He turned again, and could see Lupus walking towards the group once more. He didn't run; this time it was almost an exact replica of when he had first attacked.
Seeing this, Austin thought that it might just be a blessing. He had messed up the first time, but he had a chance to correct himself. He started to scratch his legs across the floor and built up the sparks between his horns.
"This time…I'm going to get it right!" Austin shouted as he charged forward. The sparks emitted the portal, and he had run right through it, with it closing behind.
Right now, where Austin was, it was a special space that his own powers created. There was a mystical array of colors and a path in front of him. While the whole area just appeared to be like a tunnel.
Austin didn't really understand how it worked, but he immediately knew what the key use of it was. The moment he had entered this other dimension with the long winding tunnel, he continued to run.
He ran, forward and forward, his body picking up his speed, his legs charging even faster down the mystic tunnel. The short distance that usually happened when fighting against opponents physically, that weakness would disappear.
As he could build up the momentum in this separate dimension, and then all that was left was to exit.
Right up ahead, Austin could see it, he could feel the exit approaching. The issue was due to the limited amount of times he had used the skill he hadn't really figured out how to position the exit when he was fighting.
All he could hope was this time, it would open at the right spot this time. When he exited out from the portal and was outside, he could see it, the large body right in front of him.
At an amazing speed, Austin had crashed the full force of his weight right into Lupus. He could feel his horns digging into Lupus's flesh. Austin's head was looking down; it was facing the ground.
Austin could see it constantly moving back. He could still feel the weight of something on his horns as the floor continued to move.
"I have to keep moving!" Austin thought as he still pushed through with his legs, pushing harder and harder, until he had come right to a stop.
The hunters could see it; Austin had managed to push Lupus back to the very end of the car park, but that was as far as he could go.
"You've done a good job," Lupus's voice said. "You managed to make me bleed, and forced me to transform, that has to be quite the achievement."
