My Superstar Wife Is So Popular-Chapter 906 - 904: Sudden Concern
Wen Qiao didn’t make a sound, she shifted her upper body back a little, then moved up a bit, so her line of sight was level with Jinghen’s.
Then she aimed carefully and gave Fu Jinghen a peck on the lips.
Because the pace was a bit fast and she didn’t quite control the force, it was more of a collision than a kiss.
But having just opened his eyes to such a benefit, Fu Jinghen completely overlooked this tiny flaw.
In his eyes, everything Wen Qiao gave him was wonderful.
"Why are you so passionate so early in the morning?"
Wen Qiao looked at Fu Jinghen: "Do you like it?"
Fu Jinghen nodded with a smile, still patting her head: "I like it."
How could he not like it?
"Then I’ll be this passionate every morning from now on." Wen Qiao gave him another peck: "But I haven’t brushed my teeth, you can’t mind."
That morning kiss from Wen Qiao had already surprised Fu Jinghen, but he didn’t expect an even bigger gift was waiting for him, making him feel all the more cherished.
"I don’t mind, how could I mind my darling."
As if afraid mere words weren’t convincing enough, Fu Jinghen added action, kissing Wen Qiao back to show that he not only didn’t mind, he was quite delighted.
Wen Qiao stared at Fu Jinghen for a few seconds, then pounced, pressing Jinghen flat on the bed, her upper body sprawled over his, burying her head in his shoulder and snuggling, "I don’t mind you either."
Though Fu Jinghen liked Wen Qiao’s affection, too much passion made him a bit anxious.
No man wouldn’t worry when their wife suddenly shows such care and passion.
Fu Jinghen was, after all, an ordinary man, naturally afraid of such things.
He quickly went over his recent actions in his mind and, once absolutely sure he hadn’t done anything to upset Wen Qiao, slowly placed the hand hanging above her back down.
Just as he was about to put his hand on Wen Qiao’s back, a small head buried in his neck moved, and a muffled complaint followed, "Why aren’t you hugging me."
"Hug, hug, hug."
Fu Jinghen dared not delay another moment and promptly embraced Wen Qiao.
The two hugged tightly, bodies pressed so close they left no gaps, Wen Qiao savoring their gradually synchronized heartbeats and counting silently in her mind.
As she counted, the man beneath her asked, "I feel like my darling is a bit unusual today, want to tell me what’s up?"
"Unusual? I don’t think so." Wen Qiao thought for a moment, then came up with a somewhat convincing reason: "Let’s just say it’s the aftereffects of that medicine from last night. If my body hadn’t rejected it, or if you had arrived a little later and missed it... we definitely couldn’t be together now."
Wen Qiao didn’t finish her sentence, but Fu Jinghen knew what she was referring to.
"Nothing happened, everything was timely, don’t overthink." Fu Jinghen gently stroked Wen Qiao’s hair, tilted his head, and kissed her ear: "Even if something had happened, I wouldn’t mind. You are always you, and I will always love you."
Wen Qiao said nothing.
Some things are better left unsaid, but once mentioned, the fear rushes in like a tide.
She has a thing about virginity, and naturally, about purity as well, especially with someone she doesn’t care for. If something had really happened last night, she definitely couldn’t have accepted it.
And she definitely wouldn’t be with Fu Jinghen anymore.
