"Arrest him!" Jared Quinn ordered coldly.

Harold Chapman glanced at the man at the head of the table, "Alright."

"Click" The study door opened, and Melody Thorne stood outside with a chilling coldness in her clear, beautiful eyes.

The two men’s gaze simultaneously landed on Melody Thorne, looking at her cold, exquisite face.

"You two talk first, I’ll leave," Harold quickly spoke up, sensing the situation was off.

"Do not arrest Caleb," Melody Thorne held Harold back with one hand.

Harold stood there, caught in a difficult position.

Jared Quinn’s eyes were turbulent with hidden emotions, and he reached out to grab her, staring coldly, "Do you care so much whether I arrest him or not?"

He had just given her a chance to tell the truth; however, she chose to hide it from him, conspiring with another man!

"I said no!" Melody Thorne repeated what she had just said, wasn’t he the one who knew best who she cared about?

Jared pulled her by the waist and sat her down on the chair, making her look at what Harold had found on the computer.

Melody Thorne read through it line by line, her complexion worsening as she read. On the computer screen, every message was from Caleb, including her agreement to return to the Seymour Family with him.

Jared Quinn’s gaze stayed on Melody’s small face, suppressing all his anger within. At this moment, he truly wanted to teach her a lesson.

"Is it wrong for me to return home?" Melody Thorne hid it from him because she intended to return, not to leave without coming back.

"Is collusion your so-called reason to return?" Jared’s anger intensified, feeling something tightening around his heart, fearing he might lose her at any moment! 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺

He would absolutely not allow her to go back.

When the vast world lay before her, would she still return if she left?

Jared Quinn desperately wanted to throw her onto the bed and give her a child now.

But her body wouldn’t allow for a child between them!

"What do you mean by collusion?" Melody Thorne returned his gaze.

"Go arrest him!" Jared looked away from her gaze, coldly ordering Harold standing by.

"Yes."

"No, I said no!" Melody could barely hold back her emotions, "I won’t let you arrest him. This has nothing to do with him. I wanted to go back with him on my own. I’m not a Thorne, I’m a Seymour. If I want to go back, I will. It has nothing to do with him!"

The more she cared about whether he would arrest Caleb, the more Jared’s anger boiled. As he stood up, he carried her towards the bedroom, repeating to Harold behind him, "Go arrest him."

"Yes."

"Jared Quinn, you’ll regret it!" Melody bit his neck, "I won’t forgive you. You’ve never cared about my feelings. We can’t go back to the way we were. All your kindness to me has been a lie!"

Jared carried her into the bedroom, pinning her to the bed, angrily stripping her clothes and forcefully kissing her lips.

"Don’t touch me! Don’t touch me!" Melody kept retreating, extremely repulsed.

Jared Quinn was tormented by her repulsion, feeling like his heart was being mercilessly cut by a knife, tasting the true flavor of pain.

Getting up, Jared turned and left the bedroom.

"Jared Quinn, you can’t arrest him!" Realizing what was happening, Melody ran to the door, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t open it; it was locked from the outside.
