My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!-Chapter 387: Crystal Clear
She was always thinking about how to tell Jared Quinn to guard against Titus Quinn, and wasn’t this the best way to do it?
The old wolf wouldn’t have thought he’d fall into her hands.
Just as she was feeling smug, hurried footsteps were heard from outside; it was Titus Quinn’s men, heading upstairs in a rush.
While Melody Thorne was contemplating whether to go upstairs to have a look, Titus Quinn was already coming down the stairs. His eyes swept over her, with unclear meaning, before all of his people followed him out, leaving only Harold Chapman’s men guarding around the villa.
Was Jared Quinn really coming back? Or had they discovered Jared’s movements?
Melody Thorne stood up, her phone received another text message.
It was from Harold Chapman.
[Jared is already back, and currently at my place. If Madam wishes to come over, I can send someone to pick you up immediately].
He’s really back?
Melody Thorne couldn’t help but lift the corners of her lips into a faint smile, putting her phone away, preparing to surprise Jared Quinn.
Last time she went to see Leon Rivers, so she knew the place, and Melody Thorne soon arrived at Harold Chapman’s base. The soldiers guarding outside knew her, so they let her pass without hindrance.
A particularly enthusiastic soldier offered to take her to find Jared Quinn, and Melody Thorne, feeling elated, followed behind the soldier.
In a room where Sheryl Lancaster was held, Jared Quinn sat on the sofa opposite. His deep, pitch-black eyes were filled with icy chill, coldly gazing at Sheryl Lancaster who had just been put down.
At this moment, Sheryl Lancaster’s hair was disheveled, her face was deathly pale without any color, and there were marks on her body from the torture used by soldiers.
Once released, she immediately fell at Jared Quinn’s feet, tears flowing at once.
"Jared, you have to believe me, believe me, I absolutely didn’t do that thing. How could I make Timmy allergic and cause him to have an attack? There must be a misunderstanding here; Timmy’s so cute, how could I harm him."
Jared Quinn’s starry eyes, like the vast night sky, were filled with undisguised disgust towards the woman in front of him.
Fiercely, he smashed a thin screen he held onto Sheryl Lancaster; it was footage captured from Timmy’s school, the images slowly playing out.
Everything was shown clearly from the moment Sheryl Lancaster entered Timmy’s school.
Doctor Mo had checked, Timmy’s allergen was on his right hand, and that day, only Sheryl Lancaster had grabbed his right hand.
As Sheryl Lancaster saw the images playing, her pupils suddenly contracted sharply, "No, it wasn’t me, it wasn’t me. I just went to see Timmy, I didn’t cause his allergy."
Upon hearing this, Jared Quinn’s gaze deepened, like an icy sword poised to execute, "Did I say he had an allergy?"
He had begun to seriously suspect why this woman knew so much. The fact that Timmy’s allergy could trigger an attack was information only known to the Quinn Family. Even if Ivy told Sheryl Lancaster,
then who told Ivy?
A vision of Melody Thorne flickered in Jared Quinn’s mind, was it her?
Sheryl Lancaster froze for a few seconds, she didn’t want to end up like Ivy, so she made a last desperate gamble.
Standing up, Sheryl Lancaster looked at the tall and handsome man before her and said, "Have you ever thought that Timmy and I share the same blood type, I could very well be his biological mother, how could there be such coincidence in the world?"
