"After he let Ivy go, he ran away with her."

"Find them quickly, I want to see those two by tomorrow morning," Harold Chapman shouted angrily.

"Yes."

"Not happy?" Jared Quinn pinched Melody Thorne’s cheek with his big hand; her tender skin would leave a red mark upon touch.

"Can’t be happy," Melody Thorne moved Jared Quinn’s hand away, "I’m going to the restroom."

She had been fighting Ivy for so long, but she never expected Ivy to escape.

"Sir, we’ve found that person near the hospital, but... but he’s already dead."

"Ha, dead, damn well deserved for daring to betray me," Harold Chapman was still on the verge of exploding; damn, when did this ever happen?

"Alright, deploy more personnel to search, there’s no way they could’ve run far in such a short time," Jared Quinn’s deep eyes flashed with a hint of killing intent, "Once found, don’t bother bringing them back."

"Fine, alright," the man replied reluctantly.

"You two go elsewhere; I want to check on the woman inside."

Melody Thorne immediately closed her eyes; it was Ivy’s voice.

"Miss Ivy, go ahead; we’ll guard our own. We won’t interfere with each other." Clearly, these two had no intention of leaving, 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚

Ivy snorted coldly, "I brought the person out, I’m more reliable than you. Alright, I’m just going to have a look, you go take a lap around the sea first, and I’ll leave."

The two glanced at Ivy, "Alright, alright, be quick, I’m telling you, don’t cause trouble."

Ivy opened the warehouse door and squinted her eyes maliciously when she saw Melody Thorne locked inside. If not for the time shortage last night, she would have slashed Melody Thorne’s face and handed her to these people.
