Melody Thorne was still being followed by the same few people from before. After the last incident, they didn’t dare to show up easily.

"I don’t want to see him these days." Melody indicated Felix Chandler and put away her gun.

"What are you going to do?" Felix, realizing the situation was wrong, turned to run.

Melody turned around. Finn Thorne was her brother, and she wouldn’t allow anyone to hurt him. "Finn said to break his legs. It’s a bit cruel, so maybe don’t make him limp."

She glanced down at the gun in her hand. The one Caleb gave her was real, but the one from Jared was fake. So, was Jared trying to protect her?

She didn’t need to shoot; just take it out to scare others, and Jared would handle the rest?

Melody started the car, feeling a headache. No matter what, Kiki was always her best friend, so she couldn’t let Kiki stay with a jerk.

A person got out of the car in front; it was Caleb.

He opened the passenger door and sat down as if moving effortlessly in his own car. Lazily leaning back, he turned slightly to Melody and spoke, as if praising her actions today, "Keep doing like you did today, but calling for help at the last moment isn’t a good show."

Melody turned off the car keys. "What do you mean by pestering me over and over again? Our collaboration is over. You got the Adler Family back, and I avenged the Thorne Family. You should know the rules, right?"

"It’s only just beginning. Are you tired of it already?"

"I don’t understand your beginning, but now, you must end it with me. Get out, stay away from me."
