"Goddamit!" Arthur landed on his feet and lunged at the woman again with his sword driving forward, ready to stab her before she turned invincible again.

However, he wasn’t fast enough. The sword plunged into the nothingness, passing through as if it touched a ghost.

’Fuck!’ he cursed inwardly as he quickly shifted his grip and pulled the sword out before she can trap it again.

At the same time, the lifeless mercenary dolls slowly left the ice trap and walked toward the woman in unison. They didn’t look at Arthur nor did they acknowledge the threat they were facing.

The woman had completely trapped them in her illusion, not sparing them at all. Her abilities were simply far too strong to counter and the only person who could do it was Arthur.

’I need to think of a solution quickly!’ Arthur looked around him quickly, searching for any solution. There was basically nothing on the deck to use, including the ship itself.

"AGH! Screw this!!"

Then, he quickly closed the distance between him and the woman and in a split second rained down endless slashes and attacks on her. Using all his 70 points of strength, he tried to give her no room to deflect or attack back.

Meanwhile, the woman stood there, not moving as she let Arthur slash through her body without doing any damage. Her eyes kept staring at him, trying to make him fall for her charm. But, the boy wasn’t affected at all.

Instead, his anger and aggression only grew stronger and stronger. His attacks appeared like a flash before her eyes. The sheer speed and power were enough to cut steel let alone flesh.

Naturally, she sensed the danger of the situation and tried to take a step back to create some distance. However, she quickly realized that Arthur wasn’t going to let her do that.

"No, no, you aren’t going anywhere." He muttered through his gritted teeth as he continued his relentless attacks from every angle. At the same time, he sent projectiles after her, trying to get her to make a mistake and manifest again.

A few seconds passed as the situation grew more and more intense. During which, his enemy didn’t attack even once, which proved his suspicion that if she wanted to use the ripples, she would have to manifest into reality again.

’She has to have some kind of limit to invincibility. I will find it!’ His eyes flashed with a wild glint for a split second.

But, what Arthur didn’t realize at that moment while he was engrossed in the battle was that his companions had suddenly changed their direction. Instead of trying to break through the ice to reach the monster, they instead turned around and started walking toward the edge of the deck.

They seemed to have completely given up on reaching the seductive women. Step by step, they approached the edge. The wind around them whistles powerfully as if it were pushing them to get closer and closer to the edge.

Then, when they reached it, they suddenly stopped again as if they had reached the right destination. Their blank eyes stared into the distance.

"What the hell is going on now?" He muttered with an exhausted look on his face. His eyes then fell on the group of mercenaries and he noticed that they had walked to the edge of the deck. Then, he saw one of them step toward the handrail and jump on top of it.

"NO!!" Arthur clenched his teeth as he quickly dashed forward, trying to reach the man before he jumped to his demise.

However, the woman noticed that and quickly slammed the palm of her hand forward, sending a shockingly powerful ripple flying toward Arthur. The ripple was so strong that it left behind large craters on the wooden floor.

The boy noticed that and quickly swung his sword, sending a large ice wall to block the ripple.

The wall didn’t last a second before it burst into pieces. But, at that moment, Arthur had already passed the spot where he would’ve been hit, barely dodging the attack before it hit him.
