The three digital bars on Nathan's wrist flickered less and less, showing that he had rested enough to restore some of his previously depleted Stamina.
Still half-conscious, Nathan felt a slashing pain run through his body.
He groaned in pain and slowly opened his eyes.
At that moment, he saw Luna standing right in front of his face.
"Shhh… Master Nathan, don't make a move, not even an inch." Luna put her index finger to her lips.
Nathan groaned softly and tried to endure the pain.
"Shhh… Master Nathan, don't make a sound either. Please hold on for a moment. I'll explain slowly, but don't make the slightest move."
Nathan raised his eyebrows. He wanted to ask what she meant.
"No, no, no. Do not move, moan, or speak at all. It's okay to speak in your mind, because I can hear it."
Nathan closed his eyes, holding back the pain which seemed to attack every single part of his body. "I was knocked unconscious while running from that man's attack." Nathan spoke in his mind.
"Yes, yes, yes…. Master Nathan, I want to tell you something, but I hope you won't be surprised or respond in the slightest."
Nathan opened his eyes again.
He heard a loud snoring sound really close to him.
"What sound is that?"
Nathan moved his eyeballs, and at that very moment, he realized it was right in front of him, near to him. A sleeping monster with a large body.
[Wild Boar Lv. 40]
"Level 40 monster?" Nathan was shocked. His body suddenly shook, and his breath blew rapidly.
"Master Nathan, don't worry, don't worry. Please believe me. You'll be fine, as long as you stay still and don't make any moves. I guarantee it. I will explain the reason to you soon."
Nathan tried to control his breathing. He stared at Luna, hoping for an explanation of what had happened. 𝘧𝘳𝐞𝚎𝑤ℯ𝘣𝗻𝘰ѵℯl.c𝐨𝚖
Luna raised her hands, signaling Nathan to continue to keep himself from panicking. "Don't panic in the slightest, you're fine. Please trust me."
"Okay, Luna."
"I'll start explaining. Now Master Nathan, see the information on your cloak." Luna pointed at the red cloak that was attached to his shoulder.
"Huh?" Nathan was trying to glance at the cloak he was using.
[Cloak of Wisdom]
[A wise person always tries to hide what he has. There's no need to show off your strengths if your personality and wisdom are worth much more than that.]
[Skills]
[Aura Concealment: Conceal, suppress, or otherwise prevent the user's aura from being sensed or recognized. Allow the user to conceal his emotions, alignment, health, and power levels from others.
Auto applies when someone tries to find information without the user's consent.]
[Visual Concealment: The user can render themselves unseen by anything, making them unable to be visually and physically detected by any means, including magic and technology.
Auto applies when the user is silent and does not make the slightest movement. There is a fading effect for 5 seconds.]
[locked]
Nathan read the description of the Cloak of Wisdom, which now had one additional skill.
"Visual Concealment?" He muttered in his mind.
Luna nodded slowly in response to his question.
"Okay, Master Nathan. This skill seems to have a big weakness. But this is very helpful when you are in the condition like what you are in right now. Without this skill, this monster might have injured you when you were in a defenseless state." Luna explained.
"What if the monster accidentally crushed or bumped into me? What will happen?"
"Okay, so you are visually and physically invisible to the eye, including your scent. However, your body is physically still in the same position. And if there is a physical touch by any living being, then the effect of this skill will be canceled."
Nathan gulped after hearing Luna's explanation. He felt grateful that the Wild Boar didn't accidentally hit him when he was still unconscious.
"Okay, Luna. What should I do now? How long have I been asleep? And how can I recover my body?"
Luna nodded in response to his question. "Okay, Master. You slept for about twenty hours. You are not fully recovered yet because there are too many wounds on your body."
"These wounds are very painful. I didn't really feel it before, because I was too panicked about what was happening."
Nathan then tried to recall what had previously happened to him. For some reason, Marco had signaled him to run while he himself remained in his place.
"What happened to Marco? Is he okay? Why would someone suddenly sneak in and try to kill me?"
Nathan tried to think about what threat he might be facing. But at the same time, he couldn't help but try to suppress the laughter bubbling up from within him.
In his current life situation, threats like this would probably be something he had to deal with on a regular.
"Someone like me will have no choice but to face these sorts of threats often. There is no point complaining. Apostles. God Slayers. Everything that happened was completely beyond common sense."
Nathan wanted to laugh out loud at himself.
He paused for a moment and tried not to feel sorry for himself.
"And, Fang? Is he okay?" He continued.
Luna nodded quickly. "Yes. You don't need to worry, Master. Fang only returned to the spirit world. It will reappear after it finishes recuperating."
Nathan took a deep breath. He felt grateful for Fang's presence and his quick response in creating the skill at the right time. He managed to escape from the danger, which would otherwise be something nearly impossible to do.
"We will find out about Mr. Marco after you have recovered your body, Master Nathan." Luna continued.
"Yes, I think so too. I'm also not comfortable in this place. At least I want to kill this monster to gain some experience."
[Nathan Gardner]

"Master Nathan, in order to heal the wounds on your body and return to your original state, there is one option we can do."
Nathan nodded his head slowly. At that moment, he saw the movement of the wild boar monster in front of him.
He again tried not to make any movement. He had only made a slight movement, and it immediately canceled his concealment skill.
"The Low Tier Healing Potion that Ms. Edna prepared for you. You can use that to heal yourself." Luna continued.
"Okay, I'll use that thing. However, aren't there side effects if I use it?"
Luna nodded. "Yes, the potion can only be used by awakened people. And there is a price to pay for using it. The Constitution stat you have will decrease in exchange for the body recovery you gain."
"Ugh." Nathan always hated to hear that he had to pay with his hard-earned Stat Points.
"Tell me Luna, how much do I need to pay?"
Luna chuckled lightly at Nathan's question. "If I'm not mistaken, with your current state, your stats will decrease by seven to ten."
Nathan sighed at Luna's answer. "I have no other choice. I can't stay in this situation for too long, either. And these wounds seem to be very difficult to heal on their own."
Nathan tried to accept what was happening to him. But then, something crossed his mind.
"Luna, what if I make a skill to regenerate or heal myself?"
Luna crossed her arms. "I don't think it's the right choice, Master Nathan. Because with only tier 1, it will take you quite a while to heal yourself. You also need more time to recover Stamina and Mana that will be reduced because of the healing process."
Nathan still didn't give up and tried to find another way he could take without sacrificing his stat points.
"Can I exchange the things I have to heal myself? Like, for example, the Monster Core, Monster Soul Stone or Gold that I have?"
Nathan groaned softly again because of the pain he was receiving. "Ah, these wounds are really preventing me from thinking clearly."
"Then I'll try to come to terms with this, just this once. I can't linger, because they will find my position."
Luna nodded at Nathan's statement.
"Healing Potion, low tier." He muttered softly.
A small bottle with red liquid appeared in his hand.
Nathan turned to the figure of the Wild Boar, who was still sleeping near him.
"Let's do it."
Nathan immediately threw the lip of the bottle in his hand, opened the cap with his teeth, and gulped down the contents.
He groaned and gritted his teeth, feeling a burst of energy in his heart instantly flowing throughout his body.
[Constitution Stats -2]
The Wild Boar in front of him moved as if it sensed that there was another figure nearby.
[Constitution Stats -2]
"Please, don't wake up, please don't wake up."
After a few seconds, the Wild Boar fell silent again.

Nathan continued to endure the pain and weirdness, as there was something in his skin and flesh that moved on its own.
His wounds slowly dried up, and the pain also steadily disappeared.
[Constitution Stats -2]
After a few minutes, he could breathe more easily. He felt the pain he was enduring all over his body, completely disappearing.
[Constitution Stats -2]
"This Healing Potion is truly amazing." He was amazed by the effect of the potion that he had tasted for the first time.

Nathan glanced at the status bars on his left arm.
"I can move freely again. How about we celebrate this little thing by beheading this wild boar?" He smiled faintly at Luna.
Luna chuckled at Nathan's response. "I also feel relieved you can finally recover, Master."
"Misfortune Cursed Sword," Nathan muttered under his breath, and suddenly a black sword appeared in his right hand.
"Berserker Form, Fire Blade Aura."
Instant changes occurred to his body as usual. He immediately jumped to his feet and drew his sword at the sleeping monster.
The monster was awake when the sword stabbed right into its body.
"Fire Cutting Waves."
He tried to hold his sword as energy surged through it.
Nathan was almost knocked out by the Wild Boar, but the energy blast from the blade was instantaneous and impacted the Wild Boar's body powerfully.
Nathan was thrown off by the explosion.
He got back up and ran towards the Wild Boar, who was in pain on the ground.
"Accel!"
Nathan thrust his sword into the monster's eye.
He immediately spun the sword to create an even more fatal wound.
The Wild Boar moved wildly, forcing Nathan to struggle slightly to keep his grip.
He jumped up onto the wild boar's neck, causing his sword to inflict an even bigger wound.
After a while, the Wild Boar stopped moving, showing that Nathan had ended its life.
