Dennis, having lost his consciousness, seemed to scan his surroundings after letting out that roar. "Clang... clang," he deflected two sniper rounds fired from atop the tower and turned his gaze toward it. There was Akira, his body shrouded in energy, taking aim at him. But suddenly, "skieeeeek," the shriek of a spider chameleon rang out. Dennis looked over to see Hyunjin and Minji successfully killing one of the creatures, then saw Ivan and Sasha still struggling against the final spider chameleon as it lashed out with acid webs, its legs, and its tongue.

Without a moment’s delay, Dennis blurred forward to attack Ivan. "Look out, Ivan!" Hyunjin screamed, warning him. When Ivan turned, he saw Dennis’s claws already inches from his face; he instinctively dove to the side. Dennis’s claws missed him, instead clamping onto the neck of the spider chameleon in front of him. Sasha froze, then leaped backward to join Ivan. Dennis, still gripping the spider chameleon, shoved his free hand deep into the creature’s mouth and ripped its tongue out by the root. Then, he punched into its chest until his hand broke through, dragging out the creature’s innards. The monster died instantly, without even getting a chance to shriek.

Dennis released the creature, its lifeless body falling to the ground. Then Dennis, looking feral and mindless, turned to see Ivan—who had just stood up—and Sasha helping him. Without hesitation, he charged Ivan. Hyunjin hurled his knives at Dennis, who deflected and caught two of them, while Akira kept firing his sniper rifle, but Dennis’s speed caused the bullets to miss.

"Clang," Dennis attacked Ivan using Hyunjin’s two knives, and Ivan parried with his greatsword. The two immediately locked in a contest of strength, but Ivan was pushed back step by step.

"Ivan... honey!" Sasha screamed.

"Get back, Sasha!" Ivan yelled back.

Then Ivan looked at Dennis, and a smile appeared on his face. Instantly, Ivan unleashed a yellow energy and he finally stopped being pushed back. Dennis leaped backward and Ivan immediately swung his sword horizontally. "Clang," Dennis parried the massive blade using both knives and ran forward along the length of the sword until the friction of the blades created sparks. He then kicked at Ivan, who blocked the leg with his hand.

"Wow... so you’re actually strong, huh? Good. This is what I call a fight," Ivan said.

Suddenly, "syuuut," Dennis jerked his head back. Sasha’s spear thrust toward his head from the side, grazing his face. Dennis immediately grabbed the shaft of the spear and hurled Sasha to the side; naturally, Sasha performed a somersault and landed on the side, though quite a distance away. After that, Minji and Hyunjin joined Sasha. Hyunjin’s body was shrouded in a green aura with dozens of knives floating around him; Sasha was wrapped in a purple aura, standing ready with her spear; while Minji was covered in a white aura, poised with her two straight swords.

Seeing this, Dennis backed off, letting go of Ivan who was glowing with a yellow aura. Then "krek... krek," he cracked his neck and knuckles. Still red-eyed and cloaked in a blood-red aura, Dennis dropped into a low stance, widening his legs and squaring up with both knives in hand. Then, he provoked the four of them, gesturing with his hand for them to come at him.

"Hey... you really think you can take all of us on alone?" Hyunjin said, fuming.

"That’s going too far. You think we’re weak?" Sasha added.

"It’s no use, he won’t hear you," Ivan said.

"Right. It looks like he’s lost consciousness and is just fueled by adrenaline. We’d better finish him," Minji added.

Seeing that no one was moving, Dennis suddenly vanished and reappeared behind the four of them. He instantly swung both knives in a wide arc. "Clang," Ivan parried, but Dennis immediately spun and delivered a sweeping kick to the side, sending Sasha and Minji—who had blocked it—staggering back. Then he hurled a knife at Hyunjin. "Clang," Hyunjin parried it, of course, but suddenly Dennis’s fist was already at his face. By reflex, Hyunjin crossed his arms in front of him. "Blam," Hyunjin managed to block the strike, but he was sent flying far back.

Seeing her husband get tossed, Minji immediately lunged forward, attacking with incredible speed. She slashed her swords at his neck and waist simultaneously. Dennis blocked both with his gauntlets and kicked Minji in the stomach, sending her reeling back, though she wasn’t hurt. Ivan swung his greatsword from left to right; Dennis ducked and swept at Ivan’s legs, but Ivan dodged. Then Dennis moved to the side and "boom," Sasha’s spear slammed into the ground right next to him. Dennis grabbed the spear’s shaft and, using it to vault his body, kicked upward directly at Sasha’s face. Seeing the attack, Sasha was forced to let go of her spear and dodge to the side.

Dennis rolled backward, taking Sasha’s spear with him. He stood up and spun the spear at his side, deflecting a sniper shot from the tower. Dennis’s breathing began to grow heavy and he started to look tired, though his eyes remained crimson and he showed no signs of regaining consciousness. Five against one was proving to be a bit overwhelming, especially with them ganging up on him, while Ivan, Sasha, Minji, and a returned Hyunjin stood before him, ready to strike with their energy-filled techniques.

But before the battle could continue, "dziiing," "clang," everyone turned their heads toward the tower, including Dennis. There was Daisy, high in the air above the tower, holding a sniper rifle and shooting the rifle right out of Akira’s hands.

"Don’t you dare shoot my love!" screamed Daisy—or rather, the booming voice of Daisy number three—filling the silence.

Dennis turned to see Gary and Kimberly approaching him as he was surrounded by Ivan, Sasha, Minji, and Hyunjin. Naturally, Dennis grinned, though he was still unconscious, and his crimson eyes burned even more fiercely. Without delay, Dennis hurled the spear toward Sasha and charged. Sasha caught her spear with great effort, but suddenly she was shoved aside by Ivan, and "clang," Ivan parried a punch from Dennis that was aimed at his wife.

"Don’t you dare hurt my wife, you fight me!" Ivan shouted furiously.

Of course, Dennis immediately turned his assault on Ivan, who parried and struck back fiercely. Sasha stood still for a moment, panting for breath. She saw Gary, shrouded in a blue aura, attacking Minji, while Kimberly, wrapped in a silver aura, took on Hyunjin in a battle between carbine fire and flying knives.

"What... is happening?" Sasha asked herself.

Meanwhile, atop the tower, Akira—his sniper rifle destroyed—met Daisy as she landed with her own rifle. Akira, his body shrouded in a gray aura, immediately attacked Daisy using his knife and pistol, while Daisy number three swapped out for Daisy number two, who returned Akira’s fire with her blood pistol from point-blank range. The fight became intense and appeared evenly matched.

Daisy easily gained the upper hand over Akira, who grew increasingly desperate facing her. Then, Daisy suddenly teleported behind him as Daisy number four took over, delivering a kick to his back that sent Akira sprawling forward. She teleported again, appearing right in front of him, and "blam," Daisy number six buried a fist into Akira’s stomach, knocking him unconscious instantly.

After that, Daisy looked down to monitor the situation with Dennis, who was fighting Ivan and Sasha, while Gary took on Minji and Kimberly faced Hyunjin. Daisy ran toward the flag, but just as her hand gripped the flagpole, "beep... beep... beep," she turned to see the timers atop each tower. Time was up; the sparring match was over.

"Aw... too late," Daisy muttered to herself.

Suddenly, "graaaaaaah," Dennis’s roar thundered through the air. "Waaaa... hey... what are you doing!" Ivan and Sasha shouted. Daisy ran to the edge of the tower and looked down. She saw Dennis kill Ivan and Sasha, who had already stopped fighting, and then charge toward Gary, Minji, Hyunjin, and Kimberly. They had all ceased combat and were now screaming at Dennis to stop his rampage.

"Oh boy... this is bad. We have to stop our husband," Daisy said in her head.

"Yes," numbers two, three, four, five, six, and seven replied in unison.

Daisy leaped and transformed into number seven, flying straight toward Dennis. She tackled him, driving him to the ground, but Dennis sprang back up instantly. He threw a punch at her, and Daisy immediately swapped to Daisy number six. "Blam," she met his fist with her own, the collision creating an explosion and a shockwave of wind that hit Gary, Kimberly, Minji, and Hyunjin, who had to brace themselves with energy to keep from being blown away.

"Snap out of it, baby," Daisy number six said.

She jumped and locked her legs around Dennis’s waist, then grabbed both of his arms and—"blam"—she slammed her forehead against his. The impact made Dennis stagger and then collapse. As Dennis fell onto his back, Daisy switched to Daisy number one, who immediately hugged him and kissed him. Dennis’s eyes gradually returned to normal. Shocked to find Daisy kissing him, he gently pushed her back. Her glasses were crooked and she was panting for breath.

"Honey?" Dennis asked.

"Thank goodness you’re back. Don’t ever use that move again... no matter what happens," Daisy said, pouting.

"Oh... right. Thank you for snapping me out of it," Dennis replied.

"Yes, this is the last time. I don’t want to have to stop you like this ever again. Promise me," Daisy said.

"Okay... okay... I promise," Dennis replied.

Dennis pulled Daisy into a hug right there on the ground, while Gary, Kimberly, Hyunjin, and Minji approached the couple as they held each other.
