My Seven Wives in One Body and Me, her Manager-Chapter 42: Giant Mutant Crab Emerged
After traveling for a while, the yacht finally reached a secluded part of the coast rarely visited by others, marked by towering cliffs and numerous reefs jutting out from the sea. Directly ahead of them sat a small, straight artificial island, specifically designed for coral conservation and used as a fishing platform. Gary cut the engine and lowered the anchor automatically so the boat wouldn’t drift. Afterward, he, Dennis, and Jason stepped out of the bridge and saw Daisy, Olivia, and Kimberly already staring into the blue water from the back deck.
"Alright, let’s dive in," Gary said, grabbing snorkels from a storage locker on the back deck.
"Hmm... I’ll pass. I’ll just wait here," Dennis said.
"Wait, why?" Daisy Number Seven asked.
"Yeah, it’s a waste if you come all this way and don’t get in the water," Kimberly added.
"Come on, bro," Jason said, patting Dennis on the back.
"But... I can’t swim," Dennis muttered.
Immediately, Gary, Olivia, Jason, and Kimberly burst out laughing, while Daisy just shook her head and glared at her friends to make them stop.
"Hey... it’s normal, okay? I can’t swim either," Daisy Number Seven added.
"Haha... it’s okay. It’s not too deep here because there’s plenty of coral you can stand on. Besides, you don’t need to know how to swim to snorkel; you just have to hold your breath," Gary said.
"He’s right. Come on, when else are you going to get to try something like this?" Olivia added.
Dennis and Daisy glanced at each other, then finally gave in and nodded. Gary immediately handed them the snorkeling gear, which consisted only of goggles and a tube for their mouths. Then, he taught them how to use it and urged them both not to stray too far from the yacht so they could easily grab onto it. Dennis and Daisy just nodded as they listened to Gary’s explanation, then they stood at the edge of the back deck.
"Splash," Olivia, Jason, and Kimberly jumped into the sea first and began to dive. Then, Dennis and Daisy lowered themselves slowly under Gary’s guidance from behind. As they went down, Dennis held onto the yacht’s ladder while one of his hands gripped Daisy’s hand, who was also holding the ladder on the other side. Gary then jumped straight into the water from the deck and dove in.
Seeing Gary already diving into the ocean, Dennis turned to look at Daisy, who was also looking back at him. Finally, they both agreed to dip their heads into the water. Dennis’s eyes widened at the sight of countless colorful reefs that looked like a magnificent city made of coral, with beautiful fish circling around and hiding within the structures.
"Wow... cool. This is the first time I’ve ever seen a view like this under the sea," Dennis muttered in his heart.
He turned to look at Daisy, who also seemed amazed, her eyes appearing large behind her goggles. They began to float slowly, just as Gary had taught them, while holding hands. Meanwhile, Gary, Olivia, Jason, and Kimberly were already far ahead of them, heading toward the island. When Dennis started to feel short of breath because he hadn’t quite mastered using the snorkel yet, he surfaced while holding onto the yacht, and Daisy followed. "Splash," the two of them were back beside the yacht with their heads above water, but when they turned to look at the artificial island in front of them...
"Huh."
Both were stunned to see two giant crabs with four pincer arms and numerous legs. Their shells looked like the heads of thorny sharks and appeared rock-solid on top of the island. Dennis turned and noticed a dimensional rift open near the two giant crabs. He immediately dove back down and saw that Gary and the others were still swimming toward the island, distracted by the view below. He quickly pulled his head up again and looked at Daisy Number Seven, who was staring at the two giant crabs.
"Dear, we have to kill those two crabs before Gary and the others get there," Dennis said.
"Alright, let’s go, dear," Daisy Number Seven replied.
They both climbed the yacht’s ladder and stepped onto the back deck. The disguised Daisy expanded wings that looked like invisible shadows and flew toward the island, carrying Dennis with both hands. When they were above the island, Dennis asked Daisy to let go. He was dropped immediately and "boom," he landed right on top of one giant crab known as a Crawler Crab—a monster that frequently appears in the northern regions to hunt for prey in the ocean.
"Crack."
Dennis’s feet crushed the shell, and before the crab could react, he slammed his fists together into a single heavy blow against the shell between the crab’s large, black eyes, shattering it. After that, he jumped down and delivered a direct uppercut to the crab until it flipped over, its underside shell cracked and its legs flailing in the air. Dennis took a breath and exhaled.
"Ultimate Rampage," he said in his head.
Dennis lunged forward like a shadow, unleashing a high-speed barrage of punches, hand-slashes, strikes, kicks, heel drops, elbows, and knees like a machine gun. His body moved like a blur, consuming 500 of his stamina points. The helpless crab was instantly torn apart, its broken shell scattering everywhere until it finally stopped moving. Having finished off the crab with his skill, Dennis took a step back, panting heavily with his body covered in foul-smelling, yellow crab blood.
"Ugh... you definitely need a shower after this."
Dennis turned to see Daisy Number Seven had landed behind him, holding her large scythe while pinching her nose with a strange expression as she looked at him. Behind Daisy, another giant crab lay neatly sliced in half, and the dimensional rift was no longer visible.
"Huh... you already closed the portal and killed the other crab?" Dennis asked, confused.
"Um... yep. Is that okay?" Daisy Number Seven asked hesitantly.
"Of course it’s okay. Why would you even ask that?" Dennis replied.
"No reason. You’re strong, dear," Daisy Number Seven replied with a smile as she put her scythe away.
"Uh... I think you’re the one who’s stronger," Dennis replied while trying to clean himself of the foul-smelling gunk that was making him gag.
"Hey... what happened?"
Dennis and Daisy turned. They saw Gary, Olivia, Jason, and Kimberly climbing out of the sea and onto the island. The four of them were stunned to see that Dennis and Daisy—who supposedly couldn’t swim—had arrived before them. Even more shocking were the two giant monster crabs: one smashed to pieces behind Dennis, and the other neatly sliced behind Daisy. Then, their eyes drifted to Dennis, who was covered in crab blood and reeking so badly that all four of them immediately pinched their noses.
"Good grief, man, you need a shower," Gary said.
"Yep, don’t you dare step on the boat until you’ve washed off," Olivia added.
"Whoa... that’s insane. Did you just go berserk, dude?" Jason asked, staring at the unrecognizable mess of the crab behind Dennis.
"Ugh... I know you’re strong and protecting your wife... but honestly... I’m being blunt here: you stink," Kimberly said.
"Daisy, over here!" Olivia shouted, calling her over.
Left with no choice, Daisy moved away from Dennis and joined her friends. Of course, she pinched her nose too, making Dennis feel a bit betrayed—even though he understood he was drenched in mutant crab blood that smelled like a mix of rotting fish and roadkill.
"Uuuugh... where am I even supposed to shower?" Dennis asked.
Gary and Olivia pointed to the side of the island. Dennis looked toward the far end, where there was a building that looked like a restroom, along with a few umbrellas and seating areas for people to relax on the artificial island—likely meant for fishermen.
"Fine, one sec," Dennis said.
He turned and walked toward the building at the end of the small island, feeling a mix of emotions and a hint of annoyance. Suddenly, his status interface popped up in front of his face:

Dennis closed the status interface and looked back at his blood-soaked body with conflicting feelings.
"If I’d known it would be like this, I should have just let Daisy finish both of them off. But it feels wrong to keep relying on her... ugh, this is so annoying. Once again, I’m the one getting the credit because I’m the one who’s dirty and smelly, while Daisy stays perfectly clean... even though she killed her one so easily. Give me a break; if this keeps happening, I’m going to have real problems in the future," Dennis muttered in his heart, frustrated that his friends had misunderstood the situation yet again.
Then Dennis ducked into the bathroom before he could vomit; the foul stench clinging to his body was making him nauseous. He rushed to rinse himself off and get clean as quickly as possible.
