My Seven Wives in One Body and Me, her Manager-Chapter 103: Search and Rescue Mission
After the smoke cleared, Dennis, his emotions running high, opened his interface. But before he could do anything, Gary, Olivia, Jason, and Kimberly approached him. He was still fuming, ready to kill Norman for taking Daisy. Gary grabbed Dennis’s shoulder, and Dennis spun around, swatting Gary’s hand away as if ready to attack.
"Whoa... easy, man! It’s me... what happened? Do you know that guy?" Gary asked, startled.
"Sorry, bro. Yeah... I know that guy," Dennis answered shortly.
"Where’s Daisy? What happened to her? I saw someone snatch her," Olivia said, helping him look around.
"Yeah, who the hell was that guy?" Kimberly added.
Dennis fell silent. He turned his back on his friends, searching desperately for any sign of which way Norman had taken Daisy, his mind racing and his head empty with emotion. Jason realized that Dennis was panicking; he stepped up beside him and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"We’ll find her together, dude," Jason said softly.
"Thanks, bro," Dennis replied.
"Alright, I’m going to get the others back to school. Our mission is done. After that, I’ll come back here to help track down wherever that guy took your wife," Gary said.
"Okay, bro. Thanks," Dennis replied, his head starting to throb.
Finally, Gary and Olivia took the lead again, telling the troops to head back to school, while Jason and Kimberly stayed behind to accompany Dennis, who looked panicked and overwhelmed with emotion.
"Calm down, bro. If you panic like this, you won’t be able to find where that guy took Daisy," Jason said.
"Sorry... yeah, I get what you mean, bro," Dennis said, trying to steady himself. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
"You said you knew who that guy was? Who is he exactly?" Kimberly asked.
"He’s... Daisy’s foster father... the person who hurt her when she was a kid," Dennis answered, his voice filled with rage.
Jason and Kimberly immediately went silent; they understood and didn’t want to overstep by asking anything more.
"Okay, let’s split up in three directions. Let’s search; he couldn’t have gone far," Jason said.
"Yeah, come on, Den. You go straight ahead, I’ll go right, and Jason will go left. We’ll meet back here later. If you find something, fire a signal. Here, I’ll give you each one," said Kimberly, taking flare sticks from her bag and handing them to Dennis and Jason.
"Alright, thanks, Kim. Let’s go," Dennis said.
Jason immediately dashed to the left and Kimberly bolted to the right, while Dennis ran down the straight path at full speed, clutching the flare stick Kimberly had given him. While running, as his emotions began to cool and he started to think clearly, he realized his interface was open and glanced at it; then he looked back at his manager skills and realized something.
"That’s right... I can teleport to Daisy," Dennis muttered in his head.
[Correct, Master. Use the skill quickly; I will try to wake your wife.]
"Alright, thanks, Sami," Dennis replied.
Without delaying any longer, Dennis used his skill and immediately vanished while running at full speed down the road. But suddenly, he reappeared on the street and became confused.
"Wait... what... why am I back here?" Dennis asked, looking at his own hands.
[That means your wife is still moving; her kidnapper is likely still running.]
"Grr... I see. Just my luck. Do you know where she is?" Dennis asked.
[One moment, Master.]
Then an interface opened in front of Dennis’s face, displaying a map of the city. It showed Daisy moving to the right, heading toward the eastern part of the city where the industrial and warehouse districts were located. But what confused Dennis was the dot on the map; Daisy was moving incredibly fast, seemingly vanishing and then reappearing quite a distance away, like a glitch point on the road appearing on the screen.
Dennis tried to reposition Daisy on the map just like he had during the practice match against Ivan’s team, but nothing happened.
[You cannot, Master. Currently, your wife is unconscious and being carried by someone, so she cannot be moved.]
"Dammit... there’s no other way. I’m going there right now," Dennis said.
[Once they have stopped moving, teleport immediately.]
"Yeah, I know," Dennis replied.
Without hesitation, Dennis jumped onto the roof of a building to his right. He sprinted across the rooftops, leaping from one building to the next until he dropped back down to a street far ahead of Kimberly, whose flashlight could still be seen behind him. Then, he ran at full speed toward the point where Daisy was located.

Meanwhile, a few moments later, at the border of the central and eastern districts, Norman arrived in front of a ruined, abandoned house after a series of leaps and teleports. Norman carried the unconscious Daisy inside, then leaned her against a wall. He pressed a spot on the wall next to Daisy’s head, and a rotted, broken bookshelf beside her swung open. Norman picked up the still-unconscious Daisy again and carried her down a set of stairs hidden behind the empty cabinet, descending into a secret hideout.
When they reached the bottom, it turned out to be a fairly comfortable room with a bed, a table, and light from portable lamps; most likely, Norman had been living there ever since escaping from the city of Aquamarine. Norman laid Daisy on the bed, then walked to the door and pressed a stone to close the secret entrance. After that, he stared at Daisy lying unconscious on the bed, a wide grin on his face.
"Finally... you’re back in my hands... now I’m going to enjoy you as much as I want and then I’ll bury you in this house. After this, I’m heading to Ruby City to find your mother, hehehe," Norman said as he walked toward Daisy.
Then Norman sat on the bed and pulled the helpless Daisy into a sitting position. He brushed her hair aside and opened her shirt slightly. After that, he opened his mouth to reveal his fangs, then bit into Daisy’s neck and drank her blood with pure delight. Meanwhile, in the Council Room,
"Number One... wake up... wake up, fast!" Number Two shouted, trying to wake Daisy Number One, who was sleeping with her head resting on the round table.
"Darn it... Number Seven is asleep too... if she were awake, she could just step out and deal with this, and Number One would definitely wake up... why did she have to fall asleep too," Number Six said in a panic.
"What are we going to do," Number Three said, her face looking terrified.
"This is a mess... a total mess... why did that man have to show up... Number One and Seven must be so shaken they’ve fallen into a deep sleep," Number Four said, clutching her two cat ears and panicking.
"I didn’t have time to make an antidote for the chloroform that’s keeping us trapped... aaah... I should have made it beforehand... I’m so useless," Number Five added, panicking.
[Please calm down, ladies... Master has arrived.]
"Sami!" Number Two through Six shouted in unison.
[Once you are awake, please help stop Master.]
"Eh?" Number Two through Six muttered at the same time.
Suddenly, an interface screen opened in the center of the table. The five panicked Daisies immediately stared at the screen in front of them with hopeful faces. Back to a few moments earlier outside, Norman was seen sucking Daisy’s blood; he held her body tightly as his hand began unbuttoning her shirt, reaching inside to squeeze her exposed chest. Then, as his hand started moving toward the lower half of her unconscious, defenseless body,
"Hey,"
Norman released his bite on Daisy’s neck and turned. His eyes widened as he saw a massive fist right in front of his face, and the next thing he felt was agonizing pain followed by the sound of bones snapping in his face. While reeling in pain without realizing who had attacked him, he was suddenly grabbed by his clothes and slammed onto the dining table across from the bed. Slowly, Norman—his nose now crooked and gushing blood—tried to stand up amidst the wrecked table and looked ahead.
"Who..."
Once his vision cleared, his eyes went wide. He saw Dennis, breathing heavily, his body incredibly muscular and shrouded in a blood-red energy. His eyes had turned red, pulsing with blood-red lightning, as he stared him down, his hand catching Daisy beside him.
"Huh... so it’s you... you useless brat. How did you get here?" Norman asked, his voice sounding ridiculous because of his broken nose.
"Shut your mouth, you damn old man. It’s time for you to die," Dennis answered in a heavy, growling voice.
"Hahaha... good. Since you’re here, I’ll finish you off too as a correction. No matter what, I’ll never consider you my son, because you were just a mistake," Norman said, now standing and popping his own nose back into place, even as blood continued to leak out.
"Hah... as if I ever wanted to be considered your son. Just die already, you demonic old man," Dennis shot back in a heavy voice, his fists clenching so hard they cracked.
Meanwhile, inside the Council Room, Daisy Number Two through Six were jumping for joy, looking immensely relieved; they seemed to be falling even deeper in love with Dennis as he stood gallantly before them. But when they saw Dennis’s condition—shrouded in that blood-red aura and liable to lose control at any second—the five of them immediately panicked again and redoubled their efforts to wake Daisy Number One and Number Seven.
