My Scheming Little Devil-Chapter 2045: Bullied
"But even so, is it worth offending the children of those families who represent the Councilman Faction at the school for her? Some of those students come from very powerful families. They see Governor Yun as a thorn in their side and absolutely can’t stand their children studying with his daughter."
The director of academic affairs thought that even though Yiyi might be a student with some potential, she was deeply entrenched in trouble and brought trouble wherever she went. It really wasn’t worth stirring up unrest among the students for her. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
Furthermore, they themselves were part of the Councilman Faction. Why should they show a friendly face to the daughter of an enemy? The fact that she hadn’t been directly expelled was already remarkable.
There’s no need to hold back now.
"Do you think I’m afraid of them?" The principal’s face darkened with anger, dismissing the idea with a snort of disdain, "Let’s not taint the sacred halls of academia with such filthy politics. As a principal entrusted with nurturing the pillars of this country’s future, I will absolutely not bow to those foolish, short-sighted politicians who only care about factional differences. The nation’s future lies in the hands of the next generation of talented individuals. Those who can truly lead the country to prosperity and strength are these aspiring talents; how can I let them be uprooted before they even have the chance to grow! They should never dream of it."
"Talented individuals? Do you really think she can become someone like that?"
"Don’t underestimate her." The principal’s eyes glowed brightly, his words striking a chord, "We haven’t had many students get into the top Imperial Institute of Technology in past years, but I believe she will be one of them!"

When Yiyi returned home, Madam Aisha exclaimed in worry.
"Yiyi, what happened to you?"
Because Yiyi was covered in dirt with scratches that bled on her forehead and arms, and she was limping, appearing as if she had twisted her ankle. She looked very disheveled and somewhat pitiful.
However, she shrugged it off, wiping the dust from her face, and smiled, "It’s nothing, I just slipped and fell accidentally just now."
"Yiyi, have you been bullied at school?" Madam Aisha asked in a rare moment of candor.
"Tch, just a bunch of kids with petty, third-rate tricks trying to bring me down, maybe in their next life." Yiyi snorted, pretending to be nonchalant as she headed upstairs and returned to her room.
Indeed, quite a few students found her disagreeable. But since the school administration wouldn’t expel her, they were aggrieved and tried in every way to torment her, hoping to make her miserable and afraid, to drive her to disappear from their sight out of shame!
But who was Yiyi anyway? Such immature high school antics were nothing to her.
The tricks of these girls were nothing more than common bullying tactics. She was clever and avoided most of their deceitful schemes, though sometimes even she would stumble.
Today, she was tripped by an invisible thread set by one of the chemistry students, causing her to tumble down a short staircase.
But it also gave her a profound lesson; next time, she definitely wouldn’t be tripped by the same trick.
Damn, it really hurt.
Yiyi sat on the sofa, lifting her pant leg to reveal bruised, bloodied knees on her usually pristine skin, which looked quite pitiful.
She carefully cleaned her wounds, disinfected them, and applied medicine, absolutely refusing to let these injuries get infected and hinder her determination.
Then she went downstairs to prepare dinner. Since moving there, and without the Yun family’s support, they couldn’t afford servants, and their standard of living had plummeted to that of an ordinary person.
She and her mother had to do everything on their own,
