My Perfect Female CEO-Chapter 1042: Worse Than Death
Wang’s father and mother were devastated with grief. They couldn’t fathom how someone like Flower Monk could bear to harm their poor daughter. It just didn’t make sense.
Director Hou and Director Liu also couldn’t understand.
The onlookers were even more perplexed.
Ultimately, Flower Monk could only be classified as scum, a heartless beast wearing human skin.
Aside from such criticism, they really couldn’t think of any other words to describe Flower Monk.
Flower Monk knelt on the ground without a trace of remorse, which was all the more infuriating.
He glanced around and then sneered, "To catch me, you’ve truly gone to great lengths. I’ve been hiding for so many years, always keeping a low profile. It’s impossible for my identity to be leaked. How did you find me, and how did you determine that I’m the fugitive on the run? Such explanations don’t make sense. If you knew I was the fugitive, you could have just arrested me. Why bother spreading those rumors?"
Flower Monk also had things he couldn’t comprehend. Now he realized that those messages were false.
"What nonsense about fingerprints left on the victim, it’s complete nonsense. The whole purpose was to trick me, and I foolishly fell for it," Flower Monk laughed coldly. "I’m not worthy of having so many special forces personnel sent to catch a nobody like me, especially when you didn’t know I was a fugitive. So why are you really here?"
Saying this, he cast a sinister gaze at Yang Shu and the others.
No matter how he thought about it, he couldn’t understand why Yang Shu and the others would be present.
No one was going to solve Flower Monk’s confusion. The more confused he was, the more unwilling and angry it made him, which gave Director Hou and Director Liu a slight sense of satisfaction.
"Stop glaring at me like a dead dog, you worthless scum." Yang Shu became displeased by Flower Monk’s gaze. She lifted her foot and kicked him in the back.
Flower Monk’s face made close contact with the hard cement ground, and blood immediately flowed from his mouth and nose, breaking several teeth.
"Haha!" Flower Monk laughed inhumanely, struggling to lie on his side on the ground, glaring at Yang Shu and saying, "Girl, you’ve got some spirit. If you fell into my hands, I’d show you what a fate worse than death really means. If you’ve got the guts, just kill me."
Just as Yang Shu was about to strike again, Ye Fan gestured, and Yang Shu held back her discontent and stood aside.
"What can be said to such scum? If he wants to die, let him find his own death. If he’s not worth killing, let him live in prison for the rest of his life, let him fend for himself. A quick death would be too easy for him," Ye Fan said.
Upon hearing this, a feeling of trepidation and unease surged within Flower Monk’s heart. Ever since he was captured, he had not shown any signs of fear.
His leg bones were broken by Yang Shu’s kick; he couldn’t even stand now. When his bones broke, he remained silent, instead giving Yang Shu a sickly pleased look. But when Ye Fan mentioned letting him fend for himself, he was truly scared.
A dark, freedomless, fend-for-yourself life was something he couldn’t endure.
He would go insane, go mad. He couldn’t imagine what such a life would do to him.
He didn’t dare to think too much about it because that kind of life was truly terrifying.
Suicide, for someone like him who would go to any lengths just to live, how could he possibly contemplate suicide?
"Who are you? Who are you to decide my life or death?" Flower Monk struggled strenuously, finally casting a glance towards Ye Fan, full of anger and trepidation.
"Mr. Ye, such scum deserves to be shot a hundred times to atone for his crimes. I’ll follow your suggestion and let him fend for himself in prison," Director Hou whispered.
"That’s how it should be. Death would be a mercy to him. Letting him live a life worse than death is the only way to seek justice for the innocent souls," Director Liu said viciously. "Moreover, don’t let him live with all his limbs intact. Make him a cripple, confined in prison, and let him spend the rest of his life atoning for his murderous crimes."
Flower Monk was utterly panicked. He couldn’t move his lower body, only managed to shift his upper body in the direction of the voice.
"You can’t do this. I deserve to die, deserve to die a thousand deaths. Please, kill me, shoot me," Flower Monk begged.
At this moment, his expression was full of fear and helplessness to the extreme.
Flower Monk had no remorse, always filled with fierce cruelty, which made everyone very angry.
But seeing Flower Monk become frightened, everyone felt truly satisfied.
"I want to die. My sins are grave. Only death can atone for them. If you don’t kill me, you’re disregarding the law. You’re breaking the law," Flower Monk became increasingly terrified.
"Oh, are you the parents of one of the dead? Seeing you so heartbroken, you must be the parents of that girl who just died. I was your daughter’s man. I ****ed your daughter, killed your daughter. Don’t you hate me? Why not hurry and kill me to avenge your daughter?" Flower Monk trembled all over and shouted angrily at Wang’s father and mother.
Wang’s father and mother shook with anger, really wanting to rush up and personally kill Flower Monk.
However, the couple held back, not saying a single word to Flower Monk, as if even uttering a word was a defilement to their daughter.
The couple ignored Flower Monk. Such a beast didn’t deserve their anger.
Only by doing so could they see Flower Monk’s fear. They couldn’t let this sin-riddled beast off easily.
"Take him away," Ye Fan said calmly.
Immediately, several people stepped forward and dragged Flower Monk away.
On the ground, traces of Flower Monk’s blood and several teeth were left behind.
"Kill me. Why don’t you kill me? I deserve a thousand deaths. You should have killed me, otherwise you’ll regret it. You’ll surely regret it." Flower Monk shouted, his voice filled with terror.
Flower Monk was locked in the car, and his voice disappeared.
The onlookers had indifferent expressions, and some were still afraid. Such scum was truly terrifying.
"Uncle, Auntie, my condolences to you. Although these words are of no use, I still hope you can slowly let go. If your daughter has a soul in heaven, she wouldn’t want you to be sad and distressed," Ye Fan consoled.
Wang’s father and mother wept uncontrollably, utterly grief-stricken, but were filled with gratitude towards Ye Fan, Mengyao, and Lu Xiangxiang.
After instructing Director Hou and Director Liu to help Wang’s father and mother with the funeral arrangements, Ye Fan and the others left.
