My NTR Harem-Chapter 289: Flirt
Diana saw a boy seated not too far away from her. At first, she turned her head back, but then she looked again and stared at his face in surprise—it was the same boy she had just seen on her mobile.
The singer Gold, and the owner of the best gaming company.
'Does he just look similar… wait, I think that's him. What kind of coincidence is this?' She was truly surprised. She had just tasked her assistant to find more about him, and she saw him already.
Diana was always impressed by talents, and he seemed far better than any she had met in the past. Even with her cold and bossy personality, she couldn't help but stand up and move toward him. She sat beside him and looked closely at Lucian.
The boy looked exceptionally handsome, far greater than any actor or model she had seen before—but what made her walk up to him was his talent and mind.
Lucian noticed the woman sit beside him. He glanced and then continued to drink as if he didn't really care about her, but his mind and heart were filled with different emotions.
After so many years and two whole lives, this was the first time that they had come even this close—but Lucian didn't feel happy at all. Instead, he felt his hatred increasing even more towards her.
Even if she didn't care at all about him or his father, just because she was his mother, just because of her responsibility, she should have at least once tried to find the whereabouts of Lucian—at least after finding that her husband had died. Maybe if she had helped just a tiny bit, his life might not have been so torturous.
"Hello, are you Lucian?"
His thoughts were interrupted by the pleasant voice that now felt like thorns pricking his ears. Yet Lucian showed no emotion on his face as he turned his head to look at her. He saw her face and showed a surprised expression. Then he gazed up and down before speaking with a charming smile:
"Oh, hello there. I am indeed Lucian, and I feel like I have seen you before…" Lucian seemed to be pondering for a few seconds with his brows knitted. Then an enlightened expression appeared on his face as he added, "Right, you appeared in my dreams… and well, let's not get into details."
"…" As Lucian winked at her, Diana was speechless, and she lost her peerless aura for a minute.
This was the first time someone had flirted like this with her. Everyone had been too afraid of her, and even if someone approached, they were directly rejected by her—but none had been so young or bold. Yet this boy, who was not even half her age, was flirting with her.
"Haha." Diana couldn't help chuckling. Then she spoke: "Boy, you know I am more than twice your age, right? I can't believe someone your age is trying to court me. Do you try this on every woman?"
"Of course not, this is the first time. And as for the age gap, I don't mind—instead, it's just perfect. And yeah, I am trying to seduce you. Are you tempted yet?" Lucian asked, leaning toward her but still not getting into her personal space. He took her glass of wine and exchanged it with the one he was drinking from.
Then he brought her glass close to his mouth and pressed his lips exactly where there was a faint mark of her lipstick, and drank the wine. Her fragrance was still lingering on the glass.
"…" Diana was once again taken aback, but she couldn't help but chuckle again. This boy was so young, yet he was acting like this. She hadn't laughed or even smiled in such a long time—of course, except the times when she put on a fake smile.
"I was wondering what kind of boy it is who had gained so much at such a young age, but I hadn't expected this. Are you a playboy by some chance?" Diana asked, feeling intrigued by his strange behavior.
"No, actually I have been watching you for a while now. I saw earlier how you rejected that man, and after you sat there, I was staring at you… and I fell for you." Lucian spoke, putting the cup down, then brushing a lock of her hair behind her ear in a gentle way.
"You are a kid. You should try these lines on some younger girls—maybe it would work. Not to mention I am not planning to go into a relationship—" As she was speaking, Diana's usual cold atmosphere was about to return, but Lucian interrupted.
"So you're single—thank God. I was worried I might have to fight for you against some guy. Though I would have won, but now I can get you." Lucian said, flashing a smile.
"Oh boy, if you're joking, then you are quite good at acting. I know I am still in my prime, but I don't think a young boy like you would be interested. So stop joking with me or you'll end up breaking a lady's heart." Diana said. Her tone was drifting farther and farther away from the tone she had been using for years.
Before she knew it, Diana had started to flirt back. She didn't know what it was, but she didn't get angry at the boy—in another case, she wouldn't have given a second of her time to anyone trying to flirt with her. And she would have put others in their place if someone had uttered such words to her.
But she couldn't understand what was different.
"Don't worry, just give me your heart and I'll keep it safe for eternity; you know I'm a keeper, so you'd better not miss this opportunity to claim me before someone else does." Lucian replied as he leaned further, slowly invading her personal space—yet she didn't react negatively.
"Aren't you full of yourself? But you're too late. Had you come two decades earlier, maybe you might've had a chance—but now, hmm… that's just impossible." Diana was enjoying talking to him. She was taking it as a joke… for now.
'Two decades ago, hah… I was born late then. Haha.' Lucian thought, and he gestured for her to drink.
Diana glanced at the glass Lucian had been drinking from. After a moment's thought, she gulped the wine and set the glass on the counter, gazing into his eyes—wondering what he was going to do next.
She wasn't leading him on—at least that wasn't what she was planning—but she wanted to keep talking for now.
Lucian casually brought his hand close to her face, and before Diana could react, he wiped the drop of wine from her lower lip before putting his thumb into his mouth and muttering the word:
"Mmm… Sweet!"
"…"
Diana just stared at the extremely handsome boy with a flabbergasted expression.
This boy… he is such a flirt.
He just keeps going at it in such a fluid way, as if he had countless experiences.
"Just as I had heard, the wine tastes infinitely sweeter when you are drinking it from a beauty's lips. Would you mind if I got drunk on you?"
"…"
