My Lust System: I Inherited The Sin Of Lust And His Three Wives-Chapter 79: Meddling Wives
Damian stood at the corner with his head lowered while Ruby and Hazel grilled him relentlessly, and only Racheal spoke in his defense.
"Who in their right mind senses danger and then walks straight toward it?"
Damian kept his head bowed, saying nothing, while Racheal gently patted his back.
"That’s enough. He has learned his lesson."
Racheal wrapped her arms around him and hissed at her sisters. She turned her back to them, which gave them a perfect view of Damian’s face.
With his face half buried in her shoulder, Damian shot Hazel and Ruby a mischievous smile and stuck out his tongue. Their expressions twisted with shock at how naughty their husband had become simply because one of them was willing to pamper him when the others were angry.
"You..."
Ruby wanted nothing more than to pounce on her troublesome husband, but she knew the moment she tried it, even Hazel would turn on her. This man was truly untouchable.
"Alright." Racheal gently stepped away from her husband and looked him directly in the eye. "Why did you come here?"
"To find out what’s going on. Then I saved a lady from the church and she said a demon noble named Haborym is launching a massive search for something... I believe I’m the item they are speaking of."
Racheal, Hazel, and Ruby exchanged a knowing glance, though hesitation lingered in their eyes.
"What?"
"Haborym was one of the few Duke demon nobles in Lin Qui’s faction... but we cannot be certain where his loyalties lie now." Racheal rubbed his arm as she spoke.
"Duke?!" Damian was clearly taken aback by the title.
To think the first demon nobility he would encounter would be someone at the level of a Duke. From what he knew, Bathin had not even been a noble, yet he had already proven difficult to deal with. While Damian was significantly stronger now than he had been during that encounter, he still was not certain he could fight a Duke.
"Demon nobles are the most important pieces on the board when striving to take the Abyssal throne. Because of that, they do not go out of their way to seek a prince. Instead, a prince of hell must seek them out and prove himself worthy of their loyalty." Hazel explained further.
"Yeah. Coming out here to look for you personally is very suspicious. It is very likely he’s serving a new Lord now." Ruby nodded in agreement.
In their opinion, the only people Damian could truly trust right now, until he fully awakened his power, were his wives. He needed them just as much as they needed him, and it was that very symbiotic relationship that ensured their survival. That was why betrayal was not even a possibility for them.
They could not say the same for other demons.
"If it’s searching here, what stops the search from extending to our home?" he asked.
Buzz!
Damian shuddered as immense killing intent poured out from his women. Even though it was clearly not directed at him, goosebumps still spread across his body.
"If it comes to that, then the underworld will need a new Duke!" Ruby hissed, her eyes glowing with a dangerous light.
Seeing that they all shared the same fierce expression, Damian released a defeated sigh.
"So... we should abort the mission?" Damian asked.
If his wives said it was too dangerous, then it was too dangerous. He would not mind turning back without ever seeing the face of the demon searching for him.
Only after hearing that did they calm down, their usual graceful demeanor returning.
"Yeah... just come home with us and forget all of this." Racheal slipped her hands into his while Hazel hugged him from behind.
"Let these demons and angels fight their battles. As long as it does not directly affect us, why should we bother with it?" Hazel whispered into his ear before kissing it.
Damian’s body shuddered as a strange weakness spread through him under Hazel’s embrace.
"Babe, we are outside. We can’t do this here." He protested weakly, but Hazel ignored him and continued kissing his ear.
Racheal slid her arms around his waist, pulled herself closer, and planted a firm kiss on his neck, causing a low moan to escape Damian’s throat.
"N...not on the streets." Damian’s mind had become a mess. He could barely piece his thoughts together.
"Then do not wander off again without telling anyone. Especially when you have three gorgeous people waiting for you at home."
As she spoke, her hands traced every curve and line across his chest and abs. However, Damian quickly caught them before they could slip into his trousers.
"Alright, I promise!" he begged, and his girls burst into giggles at his adorable reaction.
With great reluctance, Damian abandoned the battlefield he had worked so hard to reach. Though he openly agreed with them, his feet stubbornly refused to move, and they practically had to carry him home.
Once they arrived, they tore his clothes apart and had their way with him until four in the morning, leaving behind a naked, wounded soldier lying in Racheal’s bed within her embrace.
Burying his face between her breasts while listening to her soft breathing gave him more mental peace than any therapy could have offered.
"Our subordinates have found buyers. We will make a quick stop for the transaction before coming back home after our vacation." Racheal finally broke the silence.
"So we are coming back with more money than we left with. That’s good news." Damian’s voice was muffled as his arms wrapped around her, pulling her even closer.
Her scent alone could drive men mad.
"So what happens after that?" she asked.
Their lives were already perfect as they were. It was peaceful. It was happy. If it were up to her, she would gladly remain in a quiet world like this rather than return to the underworld, where they spent most of their existence scheming and plotting against one another.
"Honestly, nothing much. Maybe we can get a new car or two. Since I’m a partner now, my work hours are more flexible, so we can spend more time together. Then I’ll keep training while pursuing my ambitions. I hope to gain a stable foothold in the crime, judiciary, and political scenes of America. We will make this state ours first, then America, and then the world."
Damian pulled back slightly so he could look properly at Racheal’s face.
"If I’m going to keep my girls with me here, I might as well give them an empire to rule."
He smiled, and she mirrored his smile.
They stared into each other’s eyes for a moment before leaning forward for a slow, lingering kiss that stretched into the early hours of the morning. No sex followed, only wet, messy kisses as they held each other tightly beneath the quiet dawn.
