My husband Can Cultivate-Chapter 327: Reinforcements from the Sky!
But on second thought, Ye Qianqian's hope turned to despair. Yang Qi doesn't even know I've been kidnapped. How could he possibly catch up to these people?
In the front passenger seat of the van sat Cao Kan. He was in charge of this operation, and the others followed his commands.
"Let me go! I'm just an ordinary girl. There's no point in kidnapping me!" Ye Qianqian cried.
"Shut up!" Cao Kan said coldly. "Stop crying, or I'll cut your tongue out. I'm telling you, we won't kill you—not right now. You're useful to us, so just behave and you'll get food and drink. We won't let you starve. But if you don't cooperate, don't blame us for what happens next!"
BANG!
Suddenly, a car swerved from the roadside and violently rammed their van, nearly sending it careening off the road. Everyone inside was jolted.
"Who is it?" Cao Kan was stunned. Who the hell is so reckless as to ram us?
Before he could react, another loud bang echoed from the roof.
BANG!
BANG!
It sounded like someone was furiously pounding on the van. On the third punch, the metal roof shattered, and a figure appeared in the opening.
Cao Kan whipped out a dagger and stabbed upward, but his hand was instantly seized.
SCHLICK!
His entire arm was severed, sliced clean off by his own dagger.
"Yang Qi!" Cao Kan screamed as he recognized the figure, his mind reeling. This is insane! How can it be Yang Qi? I considered it could be anyone else, but never him. How did he know Ye Qianqian was here? And how did he catch up? His brain was a muddled mess, and the intense pain nearly made him pass out.
"Shake him off!" he roared at the driver. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
The driver slammed on the brakes, but Yang Qi, standing on the roof, seemed glued to the vehicle, showing no sign of being thrown off. On the contrary, he stomped down with a fierce kick, caving the roof in completely.
Yang Qi dropped into the van.
"As I thought. It's you people again." Yang Qi glanced coldly at Cao Kan but didn't attack him immediately. Instead, he moved to rescue Ye Qianqian.
Seizing the opportunity, Cao Kan and the driver scrambled out of the van. The other cars in their convoy immediately closed in, surrounding the scene. The area was remote and there were few other cars, so the commotion went largely unnoticed.
"Brother Qi! Brother Qi! I knew you'd come for me! I knew it!" Ye Qianqian threw herself into Yang Qi's arms, sobbing. She had been terrified.
"Don't worry, we're going home now," Yang Qi said. He helped her out of the van and placed her in his own car, where Iron Heart was waiting. "Protect her!"
"Yes!" Iron Heart affirmed.
Yang Qi turned and walked toward the other vehicles as a group of people got out.
"Heh, quite a few experts here. In that case, I'll play with you for a bit." A cold, murderous glint filled Yang Qi's eyes. He hated kidnappings more than anything. The last time, because of what happened with Cao Zhendong, he had obliterated the Li Family and the Kangshan Sect. Now, these people would pay the price.
The first to charge were the four great experts of the Cao Family. These were Cao Kun's personal bodyguards: Cao Da, Cao Er, Cao San, and Cao Si. They were orphans without names, so Cao Kun had given them these simple ones for convenience. They had trained in martial arts since childhood, specializing in brutally ruthless and overwhelmingly tyrannical killing techniques. Individually, none of them could match a Barbaric Beast, but the four of them together were far more terrifying. This was why Cao Kun had sent them; the Cao Family had no other experts of this caliber left—just these four and Cao Kan.
"Who are you?" Cao Da demanded. "I don't kill nobodies."
"Yang Qi," he replied coldly. "You must be from the Cao Family. You all reek of that disgusting man, Cao Kun."
"What? You're Yang Qi? That's impossible!" The four of them froze, staring in stunned disbelief. They had never expected Yang Qi to track them here. How did this kid manage it? Even if the entire population of Kang City was searching, they shouldn't have been able to find us.
"I don't care! How dare you insult my foster father! I'll kill you first!" Cao Da took the lead, stomping the ground as he shot forward. He became a blur, his punch shooting toward Yang Qi's chin at an astonishing speed.
The punch generated a sound like rolling thunder as faint sparks of lightning flickered around his fist. This was the Cao Family's signature Wind Thunder Flash. In Cao Da's hands, its power seemed even more terrifying. He was confident that if this punch landed, he would cripple Yang Qi on the spot.
"Don't underestimate him!" Cao Kan roared, but the other three just looked on with disdain, not believing someone so young could be that powerful.
Only Cao Kan truly understood how terrifying Yang Qi was. Even Cao Kun is no match for him! But no matter how much I warn them, they won't listen!
Yang Qi watched with cold detachment, as if he didn't even see Cao Da's attack. His eyes held the look of a man staring at the dead.
Cao Kan took out his phone and started filming the fight so that Shi Quan and Cao Kun could watch from their end and learn more about Yang Qi's true strength.
"Die!" Cao Da yelled. It struck him as odd that Yang Qi wasn't moving. But the attack is already in motion. No time to overthink it. Hesitation is a martial artist's greatest taboo! He put everything into the punch, holding nothing back.
But at that very moment, Yang Qi's hand moved. It was a plain, unadorned motion, devoid of flair or discernible technique, yet he simply caught Cao Da's fist.
"He dares to catch Big Brother's fist? That hand is done for!" Cao Er sneered. The next moment, however, his sneer vanished.
Yang Qi held Cao Da's fist securely. Then, he kicked him squarely in the chest.
Cao Da went flying backward. He lay on the ground, struggled for a moment, and then his breathing ceased entirely.
The grab and the kick flowed like water—simple and without flash, yet they were stable, precise, and utterly ruthless.
"Some Wind Thunder Flash. You've been watching too much TV," Yang Qi taunted.
Everyone's face turned grim. Cao Da was dead in an instant.
Cao Kan wasn't surprised at all. One-on-one, Cao Da was no match for a Barbaric Beast, so how could he possibly challenge Yang Qi? It was a shame Cao Da hadn't listened.
"You have to team up! He's the madman who killed the Barbaric Beast!" Cao Kan yelled.
The remaining three finally understood.
"Together! Kill him and avenge Big Brother!"
Cao Er, Cao San, and Cao Si didn't dare hold back. They channeled all of their Inner Strength, launching their most powerful attacks at Yang Qi simultaneously.
Facing the three-pronged assault, Yang Qi merely smirked with disdain. His figure flashed as he rushed forward.
THUMP!
SMACK!
BOOM!
One punch, one palm strike, and one kick. All three were sent flying like broken sacks. They crashed to the ground, motionless, dead beyond any doubt.
Yang Qi hadn't even used his Spiritual Power today, relying solely on the strength of his Vajra Body Refining Technique. Even so, his physical power alone was equivalent to that of a Sixth-Rank Great Grandmaster.
