Jin and the rest were all lined up and were facing Brown right now.

Brown looked at his watch for a second and then started addressing them, "From the given three hours, one hour and fifty-six minutes had elapsed. You all failed to reach the hut and got shot instead.

I must say, it was a rare chance for you to get away with the concealment training and use that time to rest.

But given how terribly you failed this task, do you think you deserve it?

There's only one person here who surpassed my expectations and reached the closest to the hut,"

Brown's gaze turned towards Fana, and he said, "Your plan was quite stupid, I must say. But the way you executed it is worthy of praise. Well done."

"Thank you, sir!" Fana thanked with an energetic voice.

She felt that she had really achieved something significant after a long while.

She, too, was aware that among Jin and the others, she was the weakest. Therefore, she gave much more than her hundred per cent in every task she did.

But it didn't seem enough. The gulf between her and them was too huge, especially because she was physically weaker.

Therefore, an acknowledgement from Brown meant the world to her. It was a clear message to her that she can surpass the other three in some domains.

Brown nodded at her and continued, "Starting tomorrow, this would be your regular schedule.

As for this small test, which I took, this was just to ascertain myself and to make you aware of how you are when it comes to concealment.

Tomorrow onwards, there will be proper theory and practical classes which will explain to you everything you need to know about concealment.

Concealment is a major area of focus for assassins, so you must do your best to pay attention and learn as much as possible.

Any questions?"

Brown asked after finishing his words.

"No, sir!" They replied.

"Alright, dismissed," Brown sent them off.

"Hahaha you literally wore a bush and sneaked so close to him, he must be damn embarrassed that's why he called it a stupid idea," Shadow laughed and praised Ice when they were moving back to their shelter.

"Haha, most likely, I was reminded of the cartoons when I got to know how she did it. Fantastic work, Ice!" Specy praised.

"Indeed, amazing work there," Jin joined in.

Hearing those words from the three of them, a smile formed on Ice's face.

"Thank you…" Though she felt a bit embarrassed to be vocal about it, and just thanked them.

They soon arrived at their shelters and lay down.

Exhausted and bruised, they all fell asleep immediately except for one.

Although exhausted, Jin used this opportunity to open up his system store and look through it.

His eyes fell upon 'Concealment' and stopped.

Earlier, when he got to know that he was the first to be shot by Brown a deep sense of shame overwhelmed him.

That he, with all the advantages that he has failed so miserably.

Clenching his jaw, he upgraded his concealment.

F to E

E to D

And finally

C to B

It was only at B grade that he stopped. He had squandered 15,000 KP but he didn't care.

Closing his eyes, Jin grasped all the new knowledge that was now a part of him before finally falling asleep in satisfaction.

The next morning.

"Oh, you were there! I almost didn't notice you. Why did you wake up so early?" Shadow exclaimed when he saw Jin's figure standing at the shallow point of the pond.

"Just wanted to practice some skills," Jin replied truthfully.

He had taken out his shadow dummy after a long period of time and sparred with it for an hour. It had been very fruitful for him.

"Damn, that's diligence," Shadow praised as he joined him inside.

Phewuuphewuu

He whistled as his gaze fell on Jin's well-developed abs.

"You must have loads of girlfriends, don't you?" Shadow commented.

Shadow's words made Jin remember Diana. He sighed, and while disguising it as a chuckle said, "I wish, it looks like it's not for me in this lifetime."

Shadow was way too familiar with that way of laughing, so he just laughed it off, "Haha, same here! The girl I was supposed to marry might even kill me if I show her my face now,"

"What are you guys laughing at so early in the morning?" Specy arrived at the pond and joined them.

"Waiting for you, of course! Come inside or the water will get cold," Shadow joked.

"...it's a pond, not a bathtub," Specy muttered as he got inside.

With him, the conversation soon shifted, and they finished off with their bath.

About half an hour later, everyone assembled in front of the hunt, and their familiar schedule began.

Three hours of Stealth training followed by three hours of Cyber Operations.

After lunch second class of marksmanship started. This time, instead of snipers, there were several kinds of assault rifles.

After a thorough practical and theory session, it was time for Close Quarter Combat.

Jin and the others were beaten one-sidedly today as well, but there was a glimmer of understanding in their eyes.

Brown was not just attacking them but also telling them their blind spots and weak links with his attacks.

Their respect for him had reached a new high thanks to that.

Finally, it was time for Concealment training.

Brown had not dismantled the tent he had set up in the afternoon. Their theory lessons were happening inside there.

"Concealment, although a practical skill, involves more theory than practice because we are limited by terrain.

In this desert terrain, I'll be teaching you practically how to hide your presence using the shadows, how to run with the wind, how to move through the bushes with minimal noise and so on.

As for the rest, it would all be covered in theory classes. Which would take two and a half hours.

I know you're tired, but force your mind to be awake the whole time. Otherwise, what you'll miss here might just be the reason for your death in the near future."

With a brief introduction, Brown began his lectures as Jin, Shadow, Specy, and Ice struggled the whole time to keep their mind focused.
